Swami Sarvapriyananda speaks at the united nations during the world interfaith harmony week (1st February to 7th February 2019).
Swami Sarvapriyananda is a monk of the Ramakrishna Mission and is the current minister of the Vedanta Society of New York. A successor to Swami Tathagatananda, he assumed his duties at VSNY on January 6, 2017.
Swami Sarvapriyananda joined the Ramakrishna Order of monks as a novice brahmachari in 1994 and received sannyasa (monastic ordination) from Swami Ranganathananda in 2004. Swami is known for his lectures on the various texts of Advaita Vedanta. His speaking engagements have included discourses at the Rubin Museum in New York City, Indian Institute of Technology in Kanpur, and the Parliament of World's Religions as one of the keynote speakers.
Sarvapriyananda received his Masters in Business Administration from Xavier Institute of Management in Bhubaneswar. After joining the Ramakrishna Mission as a brahmachari, he served as the principal of the Shikshanamandira Teacher’s Training College in Belur Math. He was also the first registrar of the Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda University. Prior to joining the Vedanta Society of New York, Swami was the assistant minister of the Vedanta Society of Southern California for a year.

I was so fortunate to have attended a session in end June 2011 conducted by Pujya Swamiji on the topic of Servant Leadership. It was about 3 weeks after my Father passed away, and Swamiji through his topic unfurled my Father's entire life journey and purpose in front of my eyes, through this unique topic - Servant Leadership. It was just by sheer co-incidence that I had heard about the programme. But, what caught my attention was the uniqueness of the topic. That one session has stayed with me till date, and will be with me forever. I feel so fortunate that he is now available on TH-cam. Whoever has heard him for the first time, my humble suggestion would be to follow his talks on TH-cam, and if anyone can hear him or request him to conduct a talk on the topic of Servant Leadership, I assure you that you will be blessed, forever 🙏

@@honestly679 I have not found anything on Servant Leadership on TH-cam. Perhaps it's being offered only in group workshop formats only which is why it may not be there on TH-cam.

If you look carefully the problem with them( peaceful) is that they also trying to create a better society( Of course they are in wrong direction). They do jihad because they think we are the worste of..****. So they want us to convert and live a better life. Though they are not doing it consciously and not in same purpose but they are doing the same even today. So here you understand that they need treatment of their brain because they couldn't even perceive that actually they are in the worste condition and in this condition they are trying to fix others.

The Ramakrishna -Vivekanand philosophy and his sanyasi followers are the only perfect explainter of sanatan Hindu religion. They are all enlightened, otherwise they can not speak in such an all round harmony and clarity.

Swamiji has clearly explained the meaning of the Rigvedic assertion Ekam Sat Vipra Bahudha Vadenti that Truth (God) is one but the wise call it differently and also the reasons why the wise call it differently ....He has also mentioned why the younger generation dislike the organised religion and the intolerance and hatread created by it among the people all over the world.making religion as a weapon to attack

Wonderful, as always, from Swamiji. I had the good fortune of attending his lectures on two consecutive days at our local Vedanta Society Temple three years ago.
Nothing to talk about him - no need! But, in most videos of Swamiji, the readers' comments usually veers towards Sadhguru, and many people start comparing. This is natural, because both Swamiji and Sadhguru are spreading the ancient wisdom of India through their highly magnetic videos. Search Swami Tadatmananda as well!
While there is no need to compare anyone, Sadhguru has a huge fan following because (1) his lectures refer to day-to-day problems of human lives at all levels and how to understand and solve them; (2) his interactions with students (and celebrities - because that's a quicker way to spread wisdom in the society) is unrestricted in the sense that the students can ask him even about otherwise-taboo issues; and he guides them in the best of wisdom; (3) he professes what he practices; (4) he is a hard-working environmentalist, and is making a lasting, transformative change in many places; (5) he has very intense inquisitiveness, understands human biology, psychology, very well, and integrates world problems with his spiritual understandings that he developed from his own extensive experiences. He is a very practical, pragmatic guy who tells us how to live our day-to-day lives while being just what we are! Combining spiritual wisdom and practical living and solving world problems - at once - is phenomenal. Salute you all, Gurus!
