I can keep listening to Swamiji all day long, every day. We are blessed to have him among our midst. I’m trying hard to incorporate his teachings into my life. And I can say with certainty that even trying/the journey is uplifting and has made me a better person, even though the goal is far away.

Koti Pranam Swami ji, I am simple house wife. But I like to read spiritual things always. One question arises in my mind that if Lord Krishna told in Bhagwad Geeta that who ever surrender to god He will remove all his sins and give him mokhya. Then why did Sree Ram Krishna Paramhans suffered cancer?
Krishna has himself to suffer a lot of disasters. Removing sins is a process that gives you a lot of pain, either all at once or slowly, till you bear all those sins and become sinless.
"Prarbdha Karmas" have to be finished in this life only. Universe gives us courage and helps to overcome it. As per Universe law, each one has to bear the fruits of his Good or Bad karmas. Universe hardly interfere, but can reduce the impact if necessary and according to our devotion. If we don't complete the karmas, we have to take another birth, and in that life we create more karmas and the cycle of Birth and Death continues. So its bettter to get rid in this life term only and be Liberated. 🌹🙇♂️

What difference did you prabhuji find in monks life and the life of an ordinary person. As on today too you are serving the world. You can serve the world without becoming a monk. You were an iit nagpur student and switched over to monk?
But we want peoples with fully deticated life for knowing god and our scripts.through that we can preserve our scriptures and sanathana dharma. An common man have more responsibility in their life, therefore they can't spent more time for studying our scriptures. 🙏🙏🙏

even so service quotient in Hindu Dharma fares poorly as against the Christian sense of service. even today. once you allow aachara anushtanams a significant role in your personality, the service part gets compromised forever. both simply cannot co-exist.
Yes! Sri Ramakrishna and Swami Vivekananda were foodies... specially Swamiji was very fond of meat. Obviously, no beaf and pork and chicken. Only Mutton. Actually, we Bengalis love our food.
It's hard to accept that meat eating is allowed in a hindu monastic order !! Doesn't it go against the advaita philosophy of Brahman in all ? No wonder ISKCONites call Ramkrishna Mission as mayavadi !! I used to follow teachings of Swami Vivekananda and Ramkrishna Paramhansa diligently but got repulsed after I got to know about their meat eating practices !

They don't spread Hinduism. They help you in your journey for liberation. And certainly they are best at it as you remarked Sir.
