The Charizard crazy is kinda why I could never love the Pokemon TCG. Charizard is cool, but I can't stand it when the value of a set is entirely based on whether or not there is a Charizard in it. Can we get hyped about anything else for once... please.

They should transfer the point system to the main tcg. It would improve the game so much. Having a random 10% of your deck not avaible every match brings a huge RNG factor in the game and you are forced to play extra copies of certain cards in your deck, just in case they are prized. Plus, there are not many effects in the game that really interact with the prize cards anyway. Cards like Iono that only count the number of points left, would still function exactly the same. If you want to keep the reward for taking a point, just let the player decide if he wants to draw a card or not.
If we must have prize cards, I think you should only draw them when *your* pokémon gets knocked out, not when you knock out your opponent's. That way, it could bring a fun comeback mechanic to the game to help the losing player get back into the match.
My goodness, you have 800 (and cerainly more after upload I'm sure) cards and I haven't even been able to dowload the game yet. This was a fun and demoralizing watch.
For the people wondering if you can build decks f2p. Ive been playing 2 days no money spent n have full starmie greninja deck, venusaur deck, mewtwo deck minus the gardy and dragonite deck minus 1 dragonair. So its pretty good for f2p

This seems like a game specifically designed for a parent to install on their phone just to hand it over to their 4 y/o so they'll shut up at the dinner table.
I want strategy and critical thinking in my tcg, not just mill 40 cards from my deck and hit 500 damage turn 1 with my 280hp basic ex Pokemon. This new tcg is too far in the other direction.
I think pocket is terrible idea if they just use it as an app and nothing more, but it could easily be a great idea if they use it like pokemon go and have competitive tournaments for irl prize support. Let's face it standard format in pokemon right now it complete trash. So the pocket format could be great for people who want to play casually competitive pokemon.

The physical cards can actually be collected, traded, played with and sold… The fact that you would argue any point other is disgraceful. My dad (48) almost certainly wouldn’t play tcg irl, but I bet would get into this as a digital game. We used to play hearthstone together for example. Digital just makes it easier for everyone to play. Yes, without the IRL bullshit 😂 well said
