This woman is an absolute Queen of the screen - she owns every single scene she has ever been in. A true master of her art. You can even see it in the way she gives this speech. Legend.
YES! She was definitely Emmy worthy every year but this particular season was just SUPERB. I miss Judging Amy and having Tyne on my screen so much, I wish the show would get a revival.
John and his wife, Betty, divorced in 1989 after 35 years and Tyne and her husband, actor Georg Stanford Brown, divorced in 1990 after 24 years of marriage.
GREAT ACTRESS, A TOTAL NATURAL. FROM BODY LANGUAGE TO EXPRESSION OF EMOTION, THIS WOMAN IS DETAILED IN EVERY GESTURE AND MOVEMENT. SHE BRINGS ABSOLUTE REALISM TO ANY ROLE SHE PLAYS, AND ENHANCES ALL CHARACTERS IN ANY SCENE AND BRINGS LIFE TO AN EMPTY ROOM. GREAT LEGS AND THE MOST SPIRITUAL EYES. HER SMILE IS GENUINE, SHE HAS A DISTINCT LOOK. UNIQUE! SHE AND SHARON GLESS WOULD BE GREAT IN A EPIC, PROHIBITION ERA MOVIE. SHE WOULD MAKE A GREAT MA BAKER, ALSO.
Tyne Daly's work in CBS's "JUDGING AMY" was truly worthy of her 2003 Emmy Award, but my anger over why this 1999-2005 TV series has not been officially released on DVD continues to grow, now that 20th Century Fox, the co-producers along with CBS Productions and Barbara Hall is now the property of The Walt Disney Company, a severe insult of the highest! stop screwing around CBS, and release this show already!!
I loved seeing Tyne Daly and John Karlen (RIP John)...Mary Beth and Harvey together at these Awards. It's obvious they are good friends in real life too. I always thought they Mary Beth and Harvey Lacey were one of the best couples on Television. Nice to see them together.
Tyne is a freaking legend and still jogs to the stage to accept her award. Pure class. ❤️
Her character on Judging Amy was why I watched the show. She was wonderful. Her enthusiasm is contagious😎👍

I never saw Judging Amy, but I did watch Cagney and Lacey.

I was rooting for Lena Olin for her work on Alias
6th win....what a great job she did..🤗🌞👍 way to go!
Damn Kiefer was fine here!!!!
Bravissima. Mi manca il Giudice Amy!
fantastica donna
Can you post "In Memoriam" of 2003?
Her face at 0:22 just cracks me up lol
Should have gone to lena olin for alias by far
Bella donna complimenti .
Why did they show (future Tony Award winner) Lauren Ambrose instead of Rachel Griffith?
Both were nominated...
Leana Olin should have won. It was an amazing role and performance. She made ALIAS Season Two Amazing
