Sorry to see this mate. I have become really disappointed with Husqvarna’s after sales service! I have a 592XP for about 18months. I’ve had mufflers fail, top cover hammering the cylinder head fins and husky say it’s from excessive vibration. That’s great, I’m no rep and can see the obvious, but on a brand new saw and not being the only one with the issue…. WHY? Your saw with 40 hours on it, you use saws regularly for years and you get the default straight gas excuse. Husqvarna need to come clean, are they producing high quality long lasting saws or saws with after sales extended profits in mind through repairs that shouldn’t be need for years to come?
I also noticed the beginnings of the wear marks on the inside of your top cover 8:29 . The top cover hammers the cylinder cooling fins. To prevent it becoming worse; undo the clips, and place a small 2mm (1/16) washer. This will raise the top cover slightly and clearance with cylinder.
Don’t replace the top end without checking the crank seals first. Husky 5 series saws have crank bearing issues. Bearing cage breaks apart which takes out the seals.
Same thing happened to me with a 2 month old 562xp. I sold it and Im done with Husqvarna. I’ll keep my 3 series and go elsewhere with my needs. Sorry man….I feel your pain.
Being that a two stroke oils the crank, rod and bearings by the pre-mix gas/oil entering as a charge from the carb, you should see some signs of heat (color change) around the top of the rod where the piston bearing is if it was straight gassed. I'd have your dealer resubmit pics of the crank area if there is no heat damage.
Major corporations will come up with any excuse they can not too warranty any issues. Makes me sick. What the hell good is a 5 year warranty when they won't come good for any of it
@@BurninGas8.1 Would have pissed me off big time when they said it was because you used straight gas. No one that buys that kind of saw would ever do that. Shoulda just stuck with the 572
Doesn't matter what gas is n the tank. Reason it looks looks like it was straight gassed is there is NO residue. If it wasn't straight gassed a new cylinder will solve it. AND if you do build it immediately pressure/vac test it. IF u find a air leak then go back at them for warrantee. But honestly from what u show it looks straight gassed.
Sounds like it had an air leak and the autotune tried to adjust for it. The last 372xp i bought had an air leak around the intake boot right from the factory. Huskies quality assurance sure has gone down hill. Sucks.
With mine I asked for the procedure notes and they didn’t have any. Basically they get gas sample to lab that Husky says send to and every time it comes back as straight gassed. Husqvarna got the last dollar they will ever get from me. Good luck to anyone who buys anything from them.
Not sure wut part of Canada your located at but contact walkers saw shop there in BC Canada and talk to donny or johny walker cus they warranty there ported saws they build

I was really considering buying this saw , but after watching so many videos of people having troubles with it ---> oiling issues , motor failure issues , trouble starting and in this case --> a complete lack of warranty .... I mean at this point they could make anything sound like users fault... Like who would pay 1600$ for a saw and not know how to use one ?! Most straight gas people get a ms231 or something cheap... I will not be buying it. I can't believe they went trough 3 autotune versions and still don't know how lean is too lean in the event of air leakage. I'd rather pay a little more and get the ms661 which is a dog with a stone age carburator that doesn't do TOO LEAN. Also this premade gas is mixed 50:1 , now i never had a saw do that to me but i always use 35:1, recently removed exhaust to check on the piston of my milling saw and its sparkling clean and oiled. There is really no reason to not put more oil. And all husqvarna autotune owners should most definetely not do 50:1 .
Being treated like that as a professional is a shame. Husky is a different company today. Time to think about an alternative if you are buying new saws.

I heard other people also had same issues with 5 series new husky's, and it was issue inside the air intake got sucked inside the engine, and destroying it... I personally dont believe its overheating problem... Feel your pain man!
