Please make more Joy content. I only have that and the heat press mini, as I am starting out my crafting journey and don't have a need for the bigger machines.
Hello. Excited for this new xtra. I like that you get a little xtra room without having to use my E3. I would use for title pages for scrapbooking and for kids t-shirts
Hi Jennifer, can you use Cricut Maker cut blades and others with the Cricut Joy? Thank you, I always enjoy watching the fun videos regarding Cricut! Have a Blessed Day!
Jennifer I’m working on cardstock earrings and putting uv resin on them. Any suggestions for doing this with something else like mod podge. The edges are a worry. What about laminate rather then uv resin? I’m just experimenting so am I probably not making any sense? Not exactly a comment but you’ve taught me so much. Don’t know how you can reply but I tend to watch all you videos. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with the rest of us
I like this new machine. If I was to win this machine I would use it to make stickers for the doctors office I work for. I would place it in the drs office so nurses can have kids draw and transform them into stickers for the kids. ❤❤
You can cut faux leather but not sure how you would get the text on there. You can always ask in my Cricut Crafters and Makers FB Group to see if others have ideas for you, facebook.com/groups/cricutcraftersandmakers/
We have so many beautiful butterflies on our blog it's hard to pick just one jennifermaker.com/?s=butterfly You can size most of these down to fit the Joy.
Hi. Can you make simple cake toppers with the Joy? Most tutorials use Maker3 which is abit pricey for just making the occasional cake toppers. Thank you.
Hi Jenni, would love to know if you can use Cricut for edible images to put on cookies. The best settings as the edible image paper is super fragile. Thank you!
While the Cricut was not intended to cut food, we have created stencils to use for tracing images such as flour tortillas. jennifermaker.com/cricut-tortilla-food-stencil/
I used my Joy this week. I was trying to cut through the permanent vinyl. It just couldn’t do it. Is there any way to increase the pressure (as we can with the regular circuit machines)? I was unable to find any such button.
Jennifer do you ever have issues with the Cricut Joy foil tool not transferring Al the design…. For example broken lines etc? I have this problem. It’s very frustrating. I was looking forward to using foil but not liking how it doesn’t transfer heavy enough to see the design or broken lines. 🤷🏻♀️
I have not used my Cricut joy machine for several months as I have been using the Explore 2. I've just discovered that the rollers in my Cricut Joy is soft and sticky and the vinyl keeps sticking to them. What can I do please? Do I have to return it for service or???
Please make more Joy content. I only have that and the heat press mini, as I am starting out my crafting journey and don't have a need for the bigger machines.
Many of our projects also work with the Joy, check out our blog linked above. Thanks for watching! 😊🌻
Agree, only have the joy.
I have the joy and the minni press u can do so much with it
Agree. So many videos for the bigger machines but as much for the joy. Or how to convert projects from the bigger machines to the joy size.
Yes. I would love more ideas.
I just got one so excited, I’m learning I will get it. I want to put something on a shirt any tutorials on that ?

Hi Jennifer, can you use Cricut Maker cut blades and others with the Cricut Joy? Thank you, I always enjoy watching the fun videos regarding Cricut! Have a Blessed Day!
No, the blades and tools for the Joy aren't interchangeable with those of the Explore and Maker. Thanks for watching!
Thank you ❤
You're welcome 😊

We don't have any videos regarding UV resin. I recommend looking around on TH-cam for some tutorials, I'm sure they're out there. 😊🌻
I love my Cricut Joy machine it is so portable for small projects 🎉
I love mine too! It's such a portable little wonder! Thanks for watching! 😊🌻
I love these projects, but I am a beginner and don't know HOW!! That's what I thought this would show me. Can you point me in another direction?

Congratulations on your new Cricut and Happy birthday!
I started my cup making using my Joy. You have gave me some ideas
I'm so glad!
Hi Jennifer do you have a recommendation for using vinyl on 4 " coasters?
Here is a tutorial. You can use permanent or iron-on vinyl. jennifermaker.com/custom-cork-coasters/
I love my Joy for small vinyl jobs and my Maker for paper projects. Glad I bought both.
Thanks for sharing. Please make more big project (two pieces together) with Cricut Joy beside cards and labels.
Great idea!
@@JenniferMaker Thanks. Show us step by step with big project from Cricut Joy
Has this been done yet? Like for instance a bigger iron on?
How do you write on the inside of the cards? Using the Cricut (pen) of course.
Here is a tutorial for you. jennifermaker.com/cricut-writing-fonts/
Thank you for this, was looking into purchasing one, but see I’ll need a lot of accessories to make it work.
Hi...purchased cricur joy portable...
Is it work only on smart vinyl paper...
No, you can use the mat and cut any type of paper or vinyl. Check out my blog, linked above, for more info! 😊🌻
Jennifer are you supposed to always add the sticky back to the card before you cut it out. Like the blue happy birthday card. TY
Yes I do!
Hi Jennifer,
I love your energy, and all your projects I've seen. Thank you so much 🤗
Thank you so much!
Hi, Can you make leather tags on this for my blankets?

i like this video😄
Is the vinyl print on the tumblers dishwashable?
They should be hand washed only.
Hello how do I make an Butterfly silhouette on my Cricut Joy.
We have so many beautiful butterflies on our blog it's hard to pick just one jennifermaker.com/?s=butterfly
You can size most of these down to fit the Joy.
@@JenniferMaker Hello thanks for getting back to me the butterfly silhouette I would like to do is on vinyl that I could stick on glasses or bottles.
Hi. Can you make simple cake toppers with the Joy? Most tutorials use Maker3 which is abit pricey for just making the occasional cake toppers. Thank you.
Yes you can. You can also use the Explore and Maker. There will be a difference in size on the joy.

hello from South Dakota
Hello!
I used my Joy this week. I was trying to cut through the permanent vinyl. It just couldn’t do it. Is there any way to increase the pressure (as we can with the regular circuit machines)? I was unable to find any such button.
Yes you can! In Design Space, you can adjust your materials settings. 😊
Jennifer do you ever have issues with the Cricut Joy foil tool not transferring Al the design…. For example broken lines etc? I have this problem. It’s very frustrating. I was looking forward to using foil but not liking how it doesn’t transfer heavy enough to see the design or broken lines. 🤷🏻♀️
Do you have any suggestions on how I can use the foil without these issues?
I have not used my Cricut joy machine for several months as I have been using the Explore 2. I've just discovered that the rollers in my Cricut Joy is soft and sticky and the vinyl keeps sticking to them. What can I do please? Do I have to return it for service or???
You may be able to clean them with a baby wipe. You can reach out to Cricut directly here: help.cricut.com/hc/en-us
Will a joy cut fabric?
No, only the Maker and the Explore. The Joy can cut faux leather great!
Do you ever reuse your transfer tape?
Yes! I like to reuse it as many times as I can. I've used the same square 8 times in a row! It's definitely good to reuse your transfer tape.
can this be used with design space
Yes! That is how you operate the Joy. It uses Design Space.
I accidentally bought cricut joy pens. Can I use them on my maker?
Unfortunately, no.
Hello from kansas
Hello!! Thanks for watching! 😊🌻
Would have loved to see you actually make the projects on camera vs.just telling about it.
All of the detailed tutorials, with photos, are at jennifermaker.com/cricut-joy-projects -- they are VERY easy!
