What if a bankrupt 0 mandate -3 stab overextended Ming controlled the entire world in 1444? How quickly would it fall apart and how chaotic would it be when all the random nations start popping out and doing their thing?
It's nice to see that while Czechs worshipped the Sun and then switched to worshipping the heavenly father Tengri under the banner of Commonwealth, teaching of Jan Hus was greatly appreciated in the far eastern empires of Ming and Japan...
The Reformation in Europe was a lot stronger in this game than it was in most games that start with an all-Catholic Europe. France, half of Spain, and half of Germany were Protestant, and Lithuania and Scandinavia were Reformed. Being Christian seems to have really buffed Ming somehow.
@@Spartan322Probably changed the way the AI behaved? Maybe it made them more expansionist rather than playing the tributary game, since the other Confucian nations started getting tributaries.
@@danshakuimo Given Hussite can't normally use tributaries, the game's AI is to be biased towards certain behaviors when regarding religion, else the game itself breaks. Not to mention Hussite isn't that bad of a conquer and suppress religion.
In this scenario the Commonwealth has +100% cav power and can have armies made out of 100% cavalery without penalties. Yeah, no wonder they did so well.
I don't think they stayed full tengri for long. I think AI always chooses a synthetic religion if they have provinces of other religions, therefore losing the cavalry ratio bonus.

@@danshakuimo it's not that the AI doesnt want to, it straight up can't. Non-eastern religion countries can't use the tributary system and ig other subject systems don't count in the eyes of AI
@@carltonleboss I am the developer of these mods. I removed religion requirements for governments and form decision in cursed universalis. But after curse event I don't know why ottomans change their government to iqta. They always do it

I made a mode similar to this (locally). It switches religions (like all Catholic Countries and Provinces become Tengri, all Tengri provinces and countries become Catholic etc). Then I made a simple python script to generate randomly codes and modified event with its random chances (I was too lazy to write all percentages in normal way).
Witch the chaos of random religions, what would it be like if everyone was the same religion instead? Like make the entire world Tengri, Hussite, or Totemist and see what happens. Could even do a mini-series and do each religion.
What if the tech and institutions from the "old" and "new" world were swapped? Idk how exactly you'd decide who gets what tech group/unit types/etc. Between Americas, Europe, Africa, Asia and Oceania, but it might create some amazing reverse colonialism.
This isnt a what if. But in the DnD mod Anbennar, you can play as the Dwarfs and get into crippling amounts of debt during a disaster. It just seems right up your alley.
We already saw the outcome of this before in another what if scenario. The USA has way too much disproportionate dev after 1.31 and it gobbled up Canada, pushed into Mexico, and went to south america. So I'm pretty sure it'll be the same. I'd be more interested in modern south American nations though
@@heisenstein6392 They gobble up canada because it was still uncolonized or still a colonial nation. Even if that doesn't happen, maybe every colonial region is a nation. That would be neat.

3x Ming's ideas probably helped with the fort related ideas, and the AI isnt too good at dealing with forts
