What if the world was divided by religions, but then also by subcontinent. So, for example, Catholic Eastern Europe would be Poland with the weat being the pope. That would mean that nations wouldnt have random exclaves that they cant defend and big nations would be further divided for a more interesting map
Start the game in 1444 with 1821 borders and nations
Kingdom of God losing it's hegemony status, because they lost their territories in Central America. The game seemingly does not know how to handle reinforcing lands across sea tiles.
I have a weird suggestion: what if a OPM held the entire world, uncored. Essentially, this would guarantee that they would explode due to rebels and we would be seeing a fallen empire, so it would be interesting how they would respond and if they could recover from their collapse and maintain their dominant position. Also, Ulm supremacy.
There'd be little to no difference between that and a normal eu4 start, they're never gonna be able to regain legitimacy unless there was a player nation that was using them for the free claims.
If it was uncored they wouldn't have any cores to reconquer, and they'd get rebels everywhere way before they'd have the time to core even a single province
@@dawood1547 They would definitely shatter in a way that's different from the start date
I'd like to think based upon an agreement between KoG and Tibet that Byzantium would be allowed to gain new land in order for them to become a neutral zone/border between KoG and Tibet that prevents both nations from having border friction. In other words, they don't bother each other anymore. Pelym and As having a trade route with that small line that Byzantium has. So, all three nations have a win.
Did Byzantium keep their debuffs? 'Cus that would make it especially hard for them to stand up to the Papists and the Ottoblob
Echo isn't Cherokee. In the comics she's Cheyenne, in the MCU, she's Choctaw.
Did they have a reason to swap her from Cheyenne to Choctaw? That seems unnecessary at the very least.
@BrianHall33 if I could assume then presumably someone saying "who's ever heard of cheyenne, at least people have heard of choctaw"
@@TheMcgreary I just looked it up. They claim they changed her tribe to Choctaw to make the story “more authentic” whatever that means.
That would piss me off if I was Cheyenne, it’s a bullshit reason and insulting. Then again if I was Cheyenne maybe I would just be happy no one will associate us with that show.
The average american isn't even aware of the Choctaw Nation either. It's a stupid decision to change her tribe but dude just called her Cherokee out of left field lol. We don't get that much representation in film or media that isn't heavily stereotyped. Just unfortunate the movie was garbage. @@TheMcgreary
Kingdom Of God Winning Is Still Better Than Ottoman Earth Tbh, I Hate That Green(Ottoman Not Sunni)
Byzantium looking like dog @ 14:40 and I love it.
Could you make a “every dynasty a country” so countries get auto inherited when they change dynasty?
How about a video where you eliminate shock damage? every nation gets -95% shock damage
Dont worry the orthodox will komi back once they figure out Kominism
I was routing for Byzantium, they did decent though
do this again but with norse being in scandinavia with the reformation being present at game start with switzerland being for reformed and germany being for protestant. great brittain as anglican
this mods really cool!
Someone tell Chewbert about Kingdom of God ideas and government type and gov reforms... There's no chance any nation can win against one of the most militarised nation in the world...
What if every country was just 1 province but still the same setup as base game diplomatically but also that province was 40 def for everyone. Also they only have 1 colonist and nothing more.
What if you did colonize plz but made it so each nation was an opm, could only colonize provinces directly adjacent to a core at first, and made them all start in beginning nodes. Could be a race to the end nodes kind of thing
can you do a video of subcontinents against each other like the middle east or eastern europe for example
Need a "Every religious group is one country"
could you do this with trade goods I would love to see it
I have an absolute lag-fest of a suggestion.
All countries as a migratory/settled OPM tribe, with their starting province being their capital and their core lands being their tribal territory.
Hussites be like: hehe I am dead
What if each trade region be country?
Kinda sad how super dominant kingdom of God was, just meant everyone was sad - being the Pope also meant they couldn't randomly flip religion to protestant
Would’ve been funny if they formed the Roman Empire
I mean is it surprising that Europe was extremely dominant? In the normal game several of the most powerful nations are European, a united Europe is just brokenly OP.
Eora is the MVP
you should used for example korea for confunism this makes confunism super weak (ming)+(mandate) = ai death
The fact that I get the NA vs SA joke lol
Australia just being Australia
can you do anbennar i wanna see it please
Do this with the modern time watch comment sectuon explode 😭😂
15:00 Bharat having a bunch of elephant troops fighting in cold Siberia is extremely funny to me
I'm still all for spawning in protestantism when we have few Catholic nations. Absolutism is just too good, it makes the AI blob out way more.
pope stronk 👼🏻
Can byzantium into china ? 😅
Where did the Reformation go?
I guess the pope just went nope. I mean it kinda makes sense considering the pope is in control of all of Europe.
If I had to guess, since the reformation gets triggered when catholicism has enough reform desire (which catholicism gains from individual catholic nations' decisions and event choices), and since there was only one catholic nation, there wasn't enough reform desire for the reformation to happen
*Ottomans bottles* me : damm bad game for us Turks
Also me seeing culture map at the end :
🛐✝️✝️✝️ Gratias valde ago, pater
You should really have set up this scenario with Protestant/Reformed/Anglican tags to break up the European Catholic blob, either along vaguely historical lines or you could’ve force spawned and released a tag for it with all converted provinces as its cores. Not super entertaining watching Europe win another slanted scenario for the 17th time in a row after starting off 2000 dev ahead lol. But hey, you do you Chewy, I’m sure your audience eats that sort of content up.
Ottoman not fit maybe Arabia would have been better
You should've made Coptic Askum or Armenia not that it'd make a difference 😭
why was sunni the ottomans. why not be arabia, who i think can be renamed into the caliphate
Because they’re the strongest Sunni nation in the game. I didn’t even make the mod
@@Chewbert ah ok. Also I have a video idea, eu4 but every tag is an opm at game start, including formables and releasables
@@Chewbert I'm afraid I can't find it. I can find one where all tags that have cores in 1444 are independent but it dosent include the rest of the formables, and none of them are opms
Why did you put in new world? Why no colonialisation?
not sure if I like the ai thumbnails
could have just photoshopped a soy face onto an image? just stamp-tooling the original face out and copy in the soy face
tbh this current thing doesn't even look like a soy face until someone says it's supposed to be that imo
great video however both the Catholics and orthodox are both part of the same religion they are just different sects of it
North America on top? Well duh its in the name
Shia’s rn 😐
Eora is the best nation
Glory to God, thankful for His grest church.
kinda bs cause ottomans are quite a bit more powerful then other nations
you should've deleted the Mandate
and imo Should've put Arabia instead if the ottomans because they can't handle the decadence
@@Chewbert ah my bad but I recommend not using the Ottomans in future similar video for obvious reasons
Kongo was a poor choice. One touch from the Catholics and the feteshists are gone
I'm rooting for Hindu !👍
It's kinda stupid how overdeveloped Europe is at the start of the game compared to the rest of the world
@@Nerazmus Ngl, that's a stupid argument.
They have made so many DLC over the years on non European content for that to be a valid argument for the overdevelopment of Europe in 1444.
Also even if it was valid, that doesn't mean we should just accept the eurocentrism of the game without an actual good reason for it
@@Chewbert there's also evidence that in 1500 europe was the wealthiest place in the world. of course they were always fragmented so China and India stood out as the wealthiest.
@@Soundeagle3456 the holy roman empire, italian and french peoples were wealthier than chinese and indian per capita. Europe was alrwady really powerfull and rich before colonialism
A fun mod could be a "all roads lead to Rome" situation, where basically all trade routes end in the city of Rome. I don't really know how that would impact the game overall
I suggested an idea a while back where all provinces in the game were considered adjacent to Rome.
@@GPantazis yes
It would probably slightly nerf Genoa and Venice and heavily nerf Britain, the Dutch, and the French. Most other nations would be exactly the same as 2/3 of trade nodes end pretty close to Rome and the English Channel node isn't too far off.
Isn't that exactly like normal but Rome instead of Venice?
@@yaelz6043 Maybe he means more like "all trade nodes in the game feed directly into Rome" and Rome can be a 1 province trade node
