This was a great reaction. FYI I think it’s a metaphor for the female experience in dating in particular. That’s how the first and second parts tie together. The supportive but skeptical best friend. The “pick-me” in the wife. The guy who wanted to help but ultimately was like nah when it got too real. The too good to be true guy. All the victims working together to survive. Once I got past the grotesque stuff I realized there was actually decent writing.
I noticed this just now that the title card started to apears 30min+ in the runtime like its reminding us that the romcom is over and lets go into the darkside. Loved this movie. I have also fallen inlove sebastian stan eversince their conversation on the grocery store, I actually thought that the girl would be the villain but i guess i was surprised.

We weren't telling the guy and his baby off for doing exactly the same thing. I know it's not reality, and we do indeed need to be more careful but I guess that's the message. We can say Noa was being stupid all we want but we only say that because we've learned to expect possible murder at any time and that ain't on us. Also I don't believe she was particularly bothered about having to pay i think it was just a weird initiation of choosing the place to go and then being like "yo bring money it's cash only just fyi" 🤣🤣.
