Marty is coming back to Folsom on Oct,22,2014.I'm looking forward to the show. Last time I went to the Folsom Prison museum I took them a copy of Glen Sherley's one and only album to show them.It was recorded in Vacaville(CMF) but it had pictures of Folsom inside.The curator had never seen the album before.He traded me a Johnny Cash picture for the album. If you look at that picture in this video of the inside of the greystone chapel you'll catch a glimpse of "The Last Supper" just behind the altar that was painted by an inmate named Ralph Pecor and all the faces of the apostles are convicted murderers. Sadly,Sherley comitted suicide on his brother's ranch in 1978.
live about 25 miles from San Quentin now have been by the back of it a few times. i'm soo glad that Johnny did this for Glen and i hope i see him in Heaven. would love to see Marty live some day
