  • Man..this video took two tries...originally, I finished this video a month ago, but I wasn't satisfied with my camera work, so I decided to use an actual camera (Thanks Robert Astoria Grand, check his channel out) which actually helped me produce better content. But, here we are, my biggest singular video on my channel, probably for a while.
In this video, you'll see many, many Bronx bus routes, here's a little description as to what is going on.
Changes coming to Norwood: The Bx10 and Bx16 will remain the same, while the Bx38 will be eliminated.
The Bx28 and Bx34 will be rerouted in Norwood, with the Bx28 running via Bainbridge to Bedford Park Boulevard, where it will continue its original route after Lehman College. The Bx34 will be rerouted via East 204th Street, to Webster Avenue, making local stops till Fordham Plaza, where it will terminate now.
The Bx30's route will completely change, becoming the new Open Door route along Boston Road, along with the Bee Line 60-62. The Bx30 will terminate at the Pelham Parkway (2) and (5) Train Station.
Changes coming to Co-Op City: The Bx5, Bx12, and Bx12 +SBS+ will remain the same.
Once again, the Bx38 will be eliminated.
The Bx30 will terminate in Dreiser Loop.
The Bx26 will terminate in Asch Loop.
The Bx28 will terminate at Bay Plaza.
The Bx29 and Q50 will terminate at Pelham Bay Park (6) Train Station.
The Bx23 will be beef'd up (3 minutes per rush hour, 8 minutes off peak) to accommodate the losses that Co-Op City residents will endure.
Changes coming to Pelham Bay Park: The Bx5, Bx12, and Bx12 +SBS+ will remain the same.
The Bx29 and Q50 will terminate here.
the Bx24 will be rerouted in Country Club, replacing the Bx8 south of Layton Avenue.
Changes coming to Westchester Square: The Bx4, Bx21 and Bx31 will remain the same.
The Bx4A will be truncated to Simpson Street Terminal.
The Bx24 will be rerouted in Country Club, replacing the Bx8 south of Layton Avenue.
The Bx8 will terminate at Layton and Dean Avenues, being replaced by the Bx24.
The Bx42 will terminate at Westchester Square, running shuttle service between Westchester Square, and SUNY Maritime, via Balcom, Harding, and Pennyfield Avenues.
The Bx40 will be beef'd up to about 8 minutes per rush hour, to replace combined service.
Changes coming to Hunts Point: The Bx6 and Bx46 (SHOCKINGLY) will remain the same.
The Bx6 +SBS+ will be rerouted via the Bx5 to Bruckner Plaza, making +SBS+ stops.
Changes coming to Simpson Street Terminal: The Bx4, Bx5, Bx19, and Bx27 will remain the same.
The Bx11 will replace the Bx36 between 174th Street (2) and (5) Station, and Parkchester, running via 174th Street.
The Bx4A will terminate at Simpson Street Terminal.
The Bx35 will run via West Farms Road, and terminates at Jennings Street, to replace the Bx11.
Changes coming to Manhattanville: The M11, M60+SBS+, M101, and M104 will remain the same.
The Bx15 AND the M100 will be replaced between The Hub (Bx15), and Riverside Drive (M100 and Bx15) by the new M125 route.
Changes coming to Tremont and University Avenues: The Bx3, and Bx36 will remain the same (in this area).
The Bx18 becomes a loop route, running via West 168th Street, replacing the Bx11.
Changes coming to Webster Avenue: The Bx41 and Bx41 +SBS+ will remain the same.
The Bx40 will be rerouted via East 180th Street, until connecting to Tremont Avenue, East of the East 180th Street (2) and (5) Train Station. The Bx42 will become a shuttle bus route, replaced by the Bx40.
The Bx36 will run via Tremont Avenue until White Plains Road, giving Tremont Avenue Limited bus service. Section between West Farms Square-East Tremont Avenue (2) and (5) Station, and Parkchester, will be replaced by the Bx21 and Bx11.

Bx38 will not be eliminated anymore, and new route Bx25 will be coming to go along the Bx26 at Bedford Pk and Allerton Av and will follow along the Bx38 route at Co op City.

Also what they should’ve done between the Bx2 & the Bx41,just make the Bx2 cut back to 149 street between Courtlandt & 3rd avenues so that it could save more time for the ridership and extended the Bx41 to Mott Haven like it was before or extend to Bruckner Blvd & Alexander Av to make it a seat ride from Webster Av to Mott Haven that’s what The Bronx Bus redesign should do

Michael Espinet Doesn’t really look like a lot of demand for having the Bx41 go to Mott Haven making all stops. However, there was a plan that predates the Bronx redesign to have an SBS Route from Webster Avenue to LGA. Surprised nobody bought that up.
However, do expect more reliable Bx15 since that route is being split.

@@TheRailLeaguer Only route that will go to LGA from bronx later on would be the Q50 Limited while the Q44 SBS will be extended to Fordham Plz based on the Queens Bus Redesign. Well it is a draft plan actually
