I remember having been to a café in the town of Mersch. I really enjoyed switching the language when I was speaking to the waiters. We were between German and French all the time.
That’s what I love the most about Luxemburg!
I was more into French English Switching. But not anymore since my English is far better than my rotten egg French. People laugh when I speak French that's why I try to speak so less French as possible. But anyway I want to learn it. If only people stopping laughing.

Bonjour Nicole. Merci pour ta vidéo intéressente. Pour ma part je parle le français (forcément), un peu l'anglais, un peu le néerlandais et quelques mots d'allemand et de luxembourgois. Comme en 2020 ou 2021, je devrait déménager dans les Ardennes belges (Hautes-Ardennes), je prendrais peux-être des cours du soir d'allemand et de luxembourgois à ce moment là car comme j'habiterais à 20 km du Grand-Duché de Luxembourg et de l'Allemagne, cela serait utile d'avoir quelques notions de base (sutout pour lire les étiquettes des produits des magasins).
Si non, c'est vrai que parfois il est difficile de rencontrer un vrai luxembourgois (il y a beaucoup de travailleurs étrangers surtout à Luxembourg-Ville).
Un vrai luxembourgois te dira "Moïen" au lieu de "Bonjour" ou "Gutentag"...

Hi Nicole, your videos are really intersting. I would like to ask you, I am Canadian and I speak 3 languages: English, French and Arabic. Do you think I can get a job and work permit easily if I apply for finance position in Luxembourg?
As a Luxemburger my answer it will be yes you can without problem. Because the main languages here in Luxemburg it is French, English, Luxemburgish, German. So focus just on those three first languages but don't worry if you can't speak Luxemburgish because the most important right now it's French and English espcially by banks. Just if you wanna work by any Luxemburgish bank that's already another position.

My French sounds like rotten egg. I have an English accent on my French, people told me. I don't like to speak French because people are laughing while I doing it. Anyway I subbed to French learn Accounts on TikTok and TH-cam and sing alone at home in French sometimes. More funny is that people think Russians Israelis and French sound alike in speaking English. So my English has a French accent on it lol 😂I try to remove it. I always thought that I sound like a German in English but my English is far better than my French. I'm fluent in English but with an Accent. But everyone has a accent in English.

Would someone have to fly to an airport outside Luxembourg and then take the rail to Luxembourg ? Thank you very much for your help. :)
well luxembourg also has an aiport, but as far as I know it doesn't do really far flights to for example america, asia, etc. So you'd probably have to fly to some bigger city in europe and take a connecting flight
