Dear Alina:Lemme suggest you to contact either Lilli and Carey ,the expat living in samui and kabi province to experience how they're living and spending their lives there.
We always appreciate your honesty and openness. Thanks for the update. Sorry things didn't work out as planned, but like you said, there are much worse places to be "stuck" than Phuket!
Thank you! Yeah it’s just the blueprint for travel in these times where you just have to be flexible. I’m still extremely happy with how things turned out.
Very true. This was one of the first places I researched to move too, then the Philippines. I finally settled on Albania but maybe someday I might still visit Thailand, who knows.
Hi Alina! Please take some time to rest, take care of yourself, and satisfy your personal needs and wants. Despite how your journey may appear to others, you have not been vacationing and you are not on vacation. You continue to work hard and diligently at a non-stop pace. Take some down time for yourself. Be happy, safe, and healthy, Alina!!!
Thank you, Gediminas! Yes there is actually a lot of behind the scenes work that I don’t think people quite understand in running a TH-cam channel. I have been trying to take it a bit easier now.
You made the most of your stay in Thailand and made some thrilling content, keeping cheer throughout even in the face of constant changes of plans. You're a great role model and you should be proud. All the best whether you choose to rest up in Canada or take on new horizons.
That breakfast is a DREAM. Glad that for your safety and the safety of others, you're staying put. Phuket looks sunny and beautiful 🤩 from here. Wishing you safe travels, wherever you land next.
Very nice video Alina! I totally agreed about your guidance of riding motorcycles in Phuket or Thailand. By the way, your video is very informative as I used to live in Phuket forever since 2007. I'm returning there next week!
Hi Alina, great video thanks. Here is just a small tip which I noticed when you walk on the road if there is no walkway. Always walk ahead of the traffic which is much more safer then walking with the traffic. In this way you see the traffic a head. Good luck and all the best…….
Alina, I hope that you are doing well in spite of what you are facing. Best of luck to you! I enjoy your videos and your efforts to educate me/us about exploring destinations.
You made so much amazing content on Thailand (despite not having everything go according to plan) it's almost bittersweet to see you leave. But can't wait to see where you head to next and all the amazing adventures ahead!
Alina, so sorry the Thailand series is wrapping up, I've enjoyed it very much. Traveling and feeling pressure to pump out content is a grind and I'm glad you took some time to regroup. Too bad you are (or have) left Phuket, Chris from retired working for you just arrived. Happy travels, you're good at what you do and I'm looking forward to the next chapter. Peace.
Hi Alina, glad to see you again. No matter where you are. Believe that the most important is to stay safe and healthy. Agreed with you that always do the things legally and properly, otherwise it may cause you a lot of troubles when there will be an accident. Once again, thank you so much for your video and see you in your next video. Good night
I'm always so amazed and awestruck by your bravery in your travels. I haven't even traveled in my own state during covid or alone in non covid times either. Your a great inspiration and I admire your ambition. I hope to see a few countries sometime. Always insightful to watch you. Thanks!🌴
Alina thanks for the travel videos of Thailand. I thoroughly enjoyed them and look forward to your next adventure. Alina just remember to take care of yourself first. I will definitely be big supporter for your adventures. You are wonderful person and love your personality.
Honestly so glad I stumbled across your channel, been watching through all the videos, really enjoying them. The Thailand ones bring back so many memories, best holiday I ever had was there in 2013. Enjoy, good luck on your next journey 👍
Hope you get off the island safe and well and get on the next adventure soon. I made a little bit of content on the real side of living here and the reality of what it's like. Be safe, be strong and good luck and thanks for showing your massive audience a bit of our backyard...
Thanks Alina. Keep it simple and just enjoy where you are at. Life is to short. Keep an open mind and heart ❤ and good things will happen. Always love watching you.
Hi Alina. I have been to Phuket many times, not a bad place to be stuck in. Since i got your link from Chris i have now watched quite a few of your Vlogs and i'm loving your work. Looking forward to where you go next. 🙏😎
Where else could you have experienced what you did and end up loving everything that you were blessed with? There is something that will always give you the surprises that suddenly appear. It is great that you were able to visit with Alex and Julia, and just imagine staying in the luxury places you did not even imagine when you made plans to come to this country. You deserve all of this, and also a well needed rest. You have been so open and share your heart, many of us could never do what you do, but we all know that what Alina sees, we will get the same look because you always share from your heart. You are right in so many ways, this is definitely a much wonderful place to experience, now we just have to figure out how to air condition the place....that is the hard part!! ))))) Be safe in your travel and keep smiling. Will let you know my update soon, and remember we are all here for you, Alina!! Cheers !!!
She's already healed from the Vax and any future effects it may have. It would be good to visit Africa because that's where the Lord shared with Ron Wyatt about building the New Jerusalem. :) Thankyou Alina!
Hi Alina, It looks like that hotel room is very luxurious. Guess next time we see you it will be from your new destination. That breakfast looks great. Safe travels to your new locale
And if you are planning to go to Europe, the Netherlands is a great option! The summer is mild and chilly, and all the restaurants, museums, parks and hotels are already open!
Thank you for this more personal video Alina. Cant believe how fast time goes and how quickly your stay in Thailand has come to an end. Enjoy your last couple of days and I am looking forward to see what the next destination is goin to be! 🙏🏻
Take care Alina, enjoy your updates. It is getting very hard to enter a lot of countries, and a lot of expats having to exit a lot of Asian countries as they wont extend visas.
Although you have probably moved on by now I am glad you decided to slow down a bit and spend some time de-stressing and dealing with personal issues. You have showed us some amazing content and have been constantly on the move. That has to take a toll. Remember, job one, take care of Alina. I am looking forward to your next adventure, but it doesn't have to be right away. Stay well.
Swasdi, Alina, now that´s definitely a tough time for all of us and also the people living from the visitors money all around the world. Checking the rules simply at least every day. Is it possible to go or where is it possible to go. You will do it right. Well done vid biz, sure. Take care and stay safe, always.
Hi Alina, thx for the update clips again, i wander if you would to like try philippines as well since philippines is one of the friendly and beautiful country where you should visit....but no matter where you go next, i hope you will find more interesting thing to share with us here....stay safe and be blessed.
Things happen and we adjust in life. You will always have my support. At least for the moment you are helping the local business. One of these days I will have to go back to my roots where I was born in Laos and to visit my family in Bangkok as well. Thanks for inspiring me to do what you are doing as well. I just wanted to do it for fun because as I said I can Day Trade anywhere in the world as long as I have WiFi. Be well and safe travel. I look forward to many more videos and Lived Video from you. Take care Alina.
I used GAP for my trip to Africa. It was the best balance for safety, access, and $$$. On a completely separate trip I stayed in Nice, France for six weeks and forced myself to stay put. I did lots of amazing day trips and really wanted to revisit Italy, but staying in one place helped me to totally get to know the city (& I even met someone special who I never would’ve met if I had been on my regular backpack type trip.☺️). Happy travels, stay safe.
This is one beautiful camera work. I have been seeing continuous improvement in your video quality. Well done Alina. keep posting. Best wishes. shubhkamnaye. One suggestion for you next destination. Nepal(Cities like Kathmandu, Pokahara, Chitwan National Park, beautiful mountains) Nepal is super un-expensive. and with no tourist currently, its gona be super less-pricy.
Your Phuket videos are making me miss my favorite island in the world soooo much! I've been over there 4 times in the last six year, last year "stuck" there from March 23rd to July 1st. It's definitely still looking the same...so sad for the Thai people! You're lucky though because last year we couldn't even go on the beach or swimming for two months. Finally, they opened them up for the last month I was there. Also, yep, good if you don't have a motorbike license to not ride them. It does make it hard to get all around the island, though. I'm lucky and have a license and must have gone up and down almost every street on the island last year when we couldn't swim, lol. Thank you for bringing back all my great memories...I can't make it back for a while, wishing I could come in July, but that's life!
I put "stuck" in quotations because, well...there's no better place to be stuck, other than maybe Koh Phi Phi, lol. I did see a video you posted in Phuket City and that's where I stay, have a room there I stay in that runs me $200 USD for the month along with a motorbike for about $80 USD. Safe travels!
If you ain't feel in the right place, mentaly or physicaly, take the time to get back to that spot where you are your best. I personaly think that is where you make the best content for your channel and be the best caretaker for yourself, greets out of Bulgaria from a dutch guy living there
good call with the scooter. i understand the convenience aspect that prompts folk to rent. i was in koh samui for 5 weeks a couple of years ago and once i got the skinny on the randomness of renting there was enough for me to say ‘a hard no for me, dawg.’ i like you, love walking. all the walking in the heat complimented my muay-thai training perfectly. recalibrate. refocus. do what you need to get back on track. don’t sweat it. the true ones will still be here and rock with you on your next move 🤜🤛.
While staying in the South book a trip Li Pe Island then to Khao Lak, Phang Nga, Phi Phi Island Krabi and then to Ratchaprapha dam, Surat Thani. Better to ask Hotel to organize the trips.
Take care of yourself, please..... I see some "dislikes" on some of your videos, and I can't understand why someone would NOT enjoy them ! Can't wait for the next one !!
Hi Alina how are you. Hope you are safe. Try this also if you in Thailand. TONSAI( place in Thailand) check reviews and other information from TH-cam or google. Take care and be safe😊
Alina, your adventures in Thailand have been absolutely GREAT. You have been an inspiration & a role model to all who love watching your channel. You truly are a wonderful human being. We rejoice in your success and desire your well being, safety & happiness. Just take some time to relax & slow down when you need to. Just listen to your own sound advice: "It is never to late to slow down & appreciate the little things in life. - Alina McLeod - ✨✨ Please stay safe, healthy & strong. God bless you.
I understand what you are saying Alina about the dangers of riding scooters - especially regarding insurance issues without a license - but it is such a cool feeling of freedom to ride one! I'm sure if you just wanted to experience it for a day or 1/2 day you could find a rider to take you as a passenger - and although not quite the same at least it will give you that 'wind-blowing-through-your-hair' feeling and allow you to experience the sounds of everything as you pass by! Just a thought! Sad to hear that you are thinking of leaving Thailand - I'm sure Thailand will miss you - I've enjoyed your coverage of the areas that you've been to - but life goes on! Wishing you a safe journey where-ever you decide to go! 😎
Yes, it is an amazing experience. I rode on the back of one a lot here in Bangkok. In Phuket there sadly isn't a lot of scooter taxis around at least in the areas I was in.
While watching this video I realized between Instagram and livestreams I'm recognizing some of your trekking routes. To much Alina Mcleod? Na not possible. Nice digs for the price. As usual great video.
There are some few infected cases here. Another beautiful eastern province where you can enjoy the stunning beaches and peaceful Islands. Welcome to Rayong.
Another lovely video Alina, thank you for sharing. And thank you for the Skill Share promo, I've just been given 2 weeks free, yay! Looking forward to getting into some courses :-) xx
A bicycle is always an option. You’re not stuck in one place and you can ride around the world on one. It does mean disassembly and reassembly when you’re crossing oceans but if its all contiguous, its not that much of a drawback. Its just another kind of tourist experience.
Yeah I thought about a bike but sadly the few I saw for rent weren’t in great condition and there’s a lot of hills in the area so I wasn’t sure it would be that much easier than walking unfortunately.
@@AlinaMcleod , and Norm: saw this in Luca and Sara’s latest video (they are a couple of travel vloggers who live in Italy - love their stuff too!). They showed a couple of E-Bikes, works like 5-speed manual or with electric motor-assist for hills, etc. That could help you. I know it might be difficult to transport this, but shipping might be worth it depending on how much hilly country you might traverse? Have a look for fun anyway!! Luca and Sarah vids are good stuff too. They left the fashion industry to travel. Sarah had an eating disorder - discussed recently. E-bikes: th-cam.com/video/7RL123xV2Zc/w-d-xo.html at 14:14.

Your videos are so refreshing even when things are not going as planned. You are always making an effort.
Good breakfast find. I was in Chile for the past 7 years and it was often difficult to find good vegan options.
Where is the super like button? Alina, TH-cam should really have one for your channel. Thank you for another great video!

I think I saw you at Hanuman World the day I was there also. I was in Phuket 16 APR -19 May 2021.
Airlines don’t accept e-bikes, either as cargo or check-in luggage.
