This gentleman did one of the best diy videos I have seen. Detailed, easy directions and so great that he also listed all the tools and parts used and other info.
If you use dryer sheets blow through your lint screen every couple weeks and make sure it isn't clogged with wax residue. It can be dry brushed out but it's messy, hot water can break it up but you gotta make sure it's dry before you use it. Also doesn't hurt to run a warm damp rag across the sensor bars in the drum once or twice a week, the same residue can prevent them from getting shorted out by wet clothes.
Hi! The link you put for amazon is a link for ebay! anyway to get the amazon link? I need to buy them and want to buy the good aftermarket one! Thank, great video!
How bout one that had a repair kit done and a new motor. Customer is reporting a loud noise they could hear downstairs. He tried to describe it as if something was spinning faster than the drum but i ruled out the rollers and blower wheel. The motor sounds like a motor. When i first got the recall i assumed it was the Samsung bulletin about the belt slipping off the tensioner if the drum is rotated the wrong way. I couldn't get it to make the noise with clothes or without. On the ones on the rear bulkhead i have had some success clamping vice grips on a socket i slipped on behind the roller shaft.
Incredible walkthrough! I knew nothing and you turned me into a pro. Saved me at least $300! Thank you so much!
