I'm a little late to this party but I'll add a suggestion for the "fun but also effective" trait category. In Death Magic, I often take Death Nova (XX3). You get the Poison Nova when a minion dies (nice!), but it's just hilarious to summon a Jagged Horror when you kill a foe. On a nice bunch of mobs, the Jagged Horrors plus Shambling Horrors from Rise!, my Reaper fantasy says I look like I'm summoning a herd of flesh-eating scarabs to pick my enemies clean, a la Imhotep from "The Mummy." On a practical note, they add a chunk of carapace and minion fun (Flesh of the Master + Necromantic Corruption) without losing the bigger utility emphasizing Shout skills. They last long enough to often remain active when I move to engage my next bunch of mobs so I'm replacing them as they die out from duration limit. Alternatively, I can say I'm the queen of my own personal pocket raptor swarm! lol I intend to get the Pharaoh outfit next time it comes up so I can live my fantasies large. haha The friend and I who play this build also call it the "Termite Build" because we're gonna just chew things up. hahaha
Nice to hear if someone mentions customization, which not everyone does, easy to look up on internet but it doesnt help if you dont understand how it works etc not only a certain build but also the skills.i have a specific build which i can go wvw + pve and all it uses marauder stats and the superior rune of Grenth, as a fellow reaper i can say this build is solid because of some traits and the combination of it, like "Rise!" the healing you get when shout plus the carapace bonus. sigh.. i was making my own reaper builds content. and almost 250 subs :)
Really nice video, I've just created a reaper recently, currently triying the Celestial hybrid build from Hizen, things are going pretty well bu will soon try your build as well !
Yeah, I'm looking for "the" spec to hunt PvE achievements and grind for Vision, do some map completion etc. Reaper seems like a nice choice, and I'm currently fine tuning between enough burst damage to cleave groups of trash mobs and move quickly from one to the other, but still be able to solo group events
Just to give some advice, something that can really sell people on build videos like this is demonstrations. Little clips of knocking over HoT Champions or a couple legendary bounties would go a long way! But otherwise, you're doing a great job so far at making videos!
this isnt a build for soloing champions u gotta tweak it out a bit for it to do that , its a general build for new players to feel comfortable with the class and make hard content like HOT maps easier

2% of GW2 videos demonstrate what 98% dont do or care to solo; champion legendaries mechanics, besides reaper has a tough time vs champs , tho its stronger than warr in melee it still solos harder content worse.
How do you get the runes that summon ravens? I’m currently looking at the superior rune of the mad king in the store and tooltip of ravens when using an elite skill is not there.

I'm using several conditions then move in closer I use the stability or might skill so I don't get knocked back as much vs certain enemy then skill 2 combined with the relic that makes u do increased damage for 20 seconds, and its insanely stromg
a couple of things firstly you need a level 10 Jade core it gives 235 vitality ,its around 36 gold or so and u install it on your character sadly its not account bound u gonna have to install it in other character later if u play more and second is the Trait " Vital Persistence" in the Soul reaping spec it gives 180 vitality and 20% healing from all sources + reinforced armor buff gives you 5% hp

@@HeavenHiggh if you have heart of thorns do chak (tangled depths)and octovine (auric basin) meta always they give decent gold also a chance of getting rare infusions that worth tons of gold , take a look at my video "Make Gold in Guild Wars 2 Fast and Quick" it have some daily things u can do to earn gold
@@HeavenHiggh and if you wanna grind u will need a core map called silverwastes u can apply for squad u will find its called "RIBA" in squad lfg follow commander and loot chests or grind an ice brood saga map called "Drizzlewood coast" these two maps are really good for grinding gold and am throwing a giveaway soon so look out for it

there is no specific good relic we power reapers can use now but there are some good options like relic of fireworks

Hey man, how do you get 24k health with full berseker gear ? I only have 19K ...
