That seems like a cool logic, but I don't think it'd fit some frames. I mean, look at Chroma Prime. He looks like a goddaman royal knight, a quite honorable job, but he's dark tho...
Abyss of Dagath... Grendel Prime is white, but his trailer is all about how he's a gruesome abomination of a frame made to spite all views of honour and grace.
djginger // gamerboy Well shes uncontrollable because she was tortured, we only that much about. Nothing of Valkyr before Alad V, maybe before she was a noble Frame, and then she became a rage fueled hate machine of mass genocide and after so much time she decided to redirect her anger onto her enemies. She might be the embodiment of a grace hero, who fell to the ground and burned, then picked themselves back up to fight for good but in a new, no mercy way
If you look at her small little info in the codex it says Valkyr Prime is new or purified and untortured. Remember when he said justice into revenge so for Valkyr or other rage frames are vice versa.
Maybe she was a last line of defense, so she was built to kill, her first 3 abilities are more for restraint so it could be used to hold back enemies, her fourth used as a last resort
In my view, I think that Dark Primes/Umbra, were meant to assassinate, attack, spy, and deal Damage, they served as the offensive side, Shredding enemies, but Light Primes were meant to defend, blocking every move, they seem to be luxurious, as if nothing touches them, because luxury isn’t meant for offense as it isn’t as effective as blunt force (Dark primes) Some dark Primes may have, or probably went out of control the time they were created, possible orokin lives were lost.
Nice Theory, and have logic, The Umbra series is the first creation after the infestation. They create the Umbra series, with the idea to upgrade/substitute the Dax Soldiers to fight vs the sentients, but they fail, and again, after found the tennons and the zariman ship, they try to use the idea about Warframes and uses the Transference to make the new soldiers to fight vs sentients... Sorry about english - BR here...
It seems interesting in terms of Primes. ---Spoilers and Potential Spoilers--- Now however, personally I always viewed the concept Umbra as this idea of “feral” frames. Ones who no longer are being controlled and yet, have shown a higher level of sentience. Recall Rhino Primes description, it tells of it going on a rampage and calming down only when near the Zariman children’s holding chamber. This, I do not see as true awareness as, like our frame in the second dream, they temporarily act for themselves in the hopes of saving us, their operator. Stalker and his acolytes are an interesting factor. They seem corrupted, but not in the sense of the Orokin Tower’s defense mechanism. I had believed for some time that Stalker was a frame who had possibly lost his operator and sought out a new one by getting rid of our frame to free up an operator. After the Second Dream my theory changed on his desire. Think about his actions. Stalker is always seeking to serve; in game by hunting us down for killing enemy VIPs. This plays into that concept of Justice-turned-Vengeance you mentioned while showing Excal Umbra. But then, Hunhow appears, a sentient “mother” who offers Stalker the power and opportunity to get his vengeance, but for what? When confronting our Tenno and warframe, we see a moment where our tenno inspects their own hand, taking in their reawakened reality. Here we see Stalker taking a pause and also appearing to look himself over, having second doubts perhaps. It is here that Hunhow declares that Stalker’s hatred/anger is too weak and appears to take control of him. I do not always fully comprehend every necessary detail, but I did notice these. I hope my theory and ideas help you formulate your own until the day that the truth is revealed.
Rurik the hunter I looked back at the cinematic and you’re right about him not being controlled. As for the other part, thanks for the heads up. So essentially he is a Rell case?
your theory is very interesting for the purpose of his vengeance, maybe he was once an operator who was not connected to the lotus but to another person. And like Rurik the hunter said below, the stalker lose control and he's mind was installed in the frame. But why? why he loses control? For me it is because of the "dream" of the operator. During all the game, the warframe doesn't speak. After the second dream, we can see the operator spoke in the war within. Maybe because he is awake. But with this... Why the stalker could speak?? It is said in the stalker codex :"I tried to call out but only a strangled whisper escaped." For me this type of situation seemed to be like in a dream... like in a nightmare. By this, the stalker could be shocked and the link between the warframe and the operator became instable, causing awakening of the operator but in the warframe corpse, not in his corpse. Other thing. The voice of the stalker. When we listen the operator voice in the frame and the stalker voice, we can hear a big difference. The stalker seemed to have a voice with "interference". Like his voice crackling unlike the clear voice of the operator. These interference could be because the link was broke and this isn't the mouth of the operator who speak, but his mind in the frame. What do you think of this theory?
for the acolyte it is difficult to say what are they. The codex isn't really takative about them... Maybe the operation will come again with more detail about them (when we know the importance of the stalker in the second dream) Also the stalker wasn't inevitably lower rank than tenno. In the french traduction of the stalker codex, it is said: "J'ai regardé de loin, avec les faibles Gardien restant" who we can traduct low guardian by the weak Guardian remaining. maybe an other branch of dax soldier... and don't forget that tenno isn't a really "race". This is the name of a warrior way giving by lotus . I think that every person who follow the three ways of the tenno can be considered like a tenno maybe a tenno also are people who was bound to the lotus
My own speculation to this is quite interesting, it's either A. Umbra was a young dax soldier sent with the passengers of the zariman to protect them from any foreign enemies, and I say young very lightly, The dax seem to have a mantra and even if exposed to the void maybe they have a small semblance of control. now my speculation is that umbra was found with the children battered and barely alive , but since he was neither child nor adult the void powers given to him was not as potent, Ballas might be the one who repaired him merging lost limbs with the technocyte flesh thus excaliburs codex entry "We built a frame around them" and here's another interesting quote "we cloaked them in saviors silk" but neither of excaliburs versions have any type of cloth in to their design but you know who does? Umbra, might have basic or dare i say primitive versions of excaliburs kit, like instead of just popping out an exalted blade maybe he imbued void energy to his weapon and over time maybe against the sentients learned how to focus his void energy and shape it, forming the first tenno school from umbras testing phase. Now heres my other theory B. The quest is called the sacrifice right, what if umbra was the name of a tenno operator who took the blow for the rest of us and became the first warframe, because A. there was no transference yet and B. he might have been the first subject to it, that's why excaliburs body shape is so human like and basic compared to the others. which fulfills the codex quote "We built a frame around them" meaning that umbra was the first but there might have been others , >> maybe the stalker or the acolytes, and haven't you ever wondered how in the world did we learn how to ninja , and the closest thing we have to the warframes ninja abilities are the dax and since the dax followed the laws of the honored seven, the tenno also named their new found schools and also incorporated skills from those schools to each and every warframe making new and unique frames over time.
I have a small theory of that how the Tenno know to do all those moves including other stuff too like fighting style melee, and guns. Since the Orokin were desperate needed new solders there is no way they will give Tenno time to teach them all how to fight so they might have created a mod like the stance mod for them built in every frame or it just become muscle memory
Here's another thing, the warframes are made of infested flesh, seen from voicelines ingame from jordas and lephantis. Ots perfectly reasonable to assume that excalibur/ excalibur prime was originally created from the flesh of the adults driven mad in the void or the infested themselves
I personally think that each Warframe may be a different strand of the Infection. Similar to how different strands of Flu affect different parts of the body, it could be possible that different strands could create different affects. Thus each Warframe was carefully created, possibly using Dax in a similar way to Umbra.......or something else. "There were screams as the infested tried to get in. It got louder and louder.....and then silence," was something along the lines of what was said during the War Within. What if the Warframes were created in the Void, using the bodies of the Parents?
Hector Tejeda sure she is a healer and propably the best one but when things are about to get really bad people will bring a banshee and a trinity...and trin does the kill.ask john prodman.
Just like Saryn and Valkyr are white but are still the most vicous frames out there. One rips people apart with her claws like an animal and the other melts bad guys faces off when they're still alive.
He explains in the video that the color of the warframe was set to the condition of the empire, light frames were made when the empire was prosperous and the dark frames where created during the collapse when the empire had to destroy in order to survive
I like this theory and think it has merit to it. it explains why the different primes are different colours and with a lot of the primes and trailers it lines up. However I don''t think its canon purely because there are a few holes in the theory that you can't really avoid. Trinity is a dark frame yet her whole thing is healing, Valkyr is a light frame yet her whole thing is violent uncontrollable murder, Ash is a light frame yet his entire gimick is ninja and stealthy assassinations, not brave defensive actions. Also on the note of Nidus prime, I think the idea works really well for him because at the start he's a pristine light frame but once he starts building mutation stacks, he mutates into an uncontrollable dark frame which is just really cool to me, Its for reasons like this and the other recent prime frames that I think DE never thought of it but saw this theory somewhere and really liked it, they obviously couldn't change old primes but they can make sure all the new ones line up with it
They need to make Umbra to other frames to and make it tradable. My theory is that Primes are from the void while the Umbras are from the collapsed void.
There will be. The warframes were created in this order, umbras -> primes -> "normal warframes, all but the last were made by the Orokin, the void has nothing to do with it.
Well i had bit different idea about prime warframes and origin of warframes on their own but some idea you proposed are partially in my theory too(mostly that warframe originated form armors used by orokin warriors) but must admit that both white and dark themed primes look intimidating and lethal, besides even if their original colors are different, after all e can change them and wouldn't be surprised if Tenno in past oculd do so too.
like you said, tenno were police and military hand of the orokin. But I have a new theory (maybe someone have the same theory). White prime warframe was for me the "protector" division who must protect the empire against attacks. (represent by the white color, symbol of purity). On an another side, Black prime warframe was for me the "secret" orokin's forces because trailers talked about litigation between factions. Now we have Umbra warframe. For me, this is the rotting heart of an apple. The "assassin's". Made to kill other political oponent of the orokin empire. Like the trailer said: "all miracles need sacrifice... Your's..." For me, this sentence will be not for the tenno or the player but maybe for Natah or maybe... For the orokin's life. The miracle will be the survival of the empire, and we know : -------------(WARNING SPOILERS!!!)------------------- Ballas is alive. -------------(END OF SPOILER)------------------------ What do you think about that? This is maybe false, i am not aware of the entirely lore but right now, this theory make sense for me (and sorry for my approximate english)
don't worry i am not good too ^^ For this I don't really know the motivation behind the choice... Maybe because trinity and oberon have a more combat against army-oriented ability than loki. (loki disarm while oberon and trinity are more specialized in control/healing) And for ash his design was insipired from samurai. And samurai are noble (this is maybe why ash is white)
Imagine if warframe did an event where they took out all light of bright colors for 2 weeks And overall the game got darker they was more blood everything seemed dark OMG THEN THEY COULD RELEASE VLAD AND GARUDA
Im just curious I ran into a video about the lore but forgot who posted it about energy colors having meaning in lore and forgot how it went im wondering besides light and dark but what about the blueish energy vs the red energy like stalker carries any lore on that?
I think that the umbra warframe isnt actualy being controlled by a operator, i think that sacrifice means the operator's phisical body death in Exchange for Power or something like that, ( do you guys watched the movie Transcedence? ) would you "sacrifice" yourself?
Davi Benvindo but that would be a stupid decision from DE after expanding on the Focus system, they won't throw it all away, how are we going to fight sentients without the operator's ability to use void powers
So let me explaint the factions: Grineer -> from beg exist (human). Corpus -> from beg exist (human). Orokin -> from beg exist (human). Sentient -> created by orokin for purpose untill it turns againts the orokin. Infested -> created by orokin for deadly biology weapon that backfired. Am i wrong?
first of all orokin used technocyte virus (virus that can eat organics and non-organics) to create a bio-weapon to combat returning sentients. this backfired, the virus escaped and then infestation happened, wreaking havoc in the system. then, the virus was prohibited and its usage was seized. unknown time later, technocyte virus was used again for the warframe project.
sorry i missed your point. sentients are a race of machines, so why would they (orokin) use a virus that cant eat/consume non-organic (machines)? and ancients, the ancients are described as being hundreds of years older than the Corpus, so their deformed shape could also be attributed to years of infestation and mutation, so we dont really know what ancients are.
My friend and I came up with a theory. After hearing what varzia said about how not all the warframes started as prime. Other had to earn it. What if that's how they showed who was prime from the start and the others who were made prime later?
So, i have to dispute some of your timeline ideas, from what I've been able to piece together there were three major conflicts in the time of the Orokin empire. The outbreak, the unrest, and the machine war. The outbreak saw the rise and spread of the infestation lay waste to the system, and in a desperate attempt to save themselves the Orokin allowed the creation of the adaptive terraforming machines that would become the sentient. Before the journey to Tao was made though, a ship containing the families that were to be sent to Tao was lost in the void and then later recovered (the Zarmiman 10-0 incident). The 'tenno' were then placed in cryo-sleep while researchers were attempting to find a way to combat the infestation by infesting human clones and heavily modifying them with the intention of making them into infestation immune controllable combat drones, but they couldn't find a way to control them. Then it was discovered that exposure to a tenno mind could allow the tenno to take control of the 'war-frame' and the tenno were repurposed into pilots for them. Once the tenno and the warframes were used to push back the infestation they were used to put down insurrection and bring order to the empire. This brought a time of peace and stability that may have seen the tenno and their warframes sealed away for fear of their power and no need of them. Then, however, the sentient returned and no Orokin tech could turn them back, the Orokin began to use mechanical ballistic arms and come soldiers to fight them but they couldn't turn the tide of the war, so they turned once again to the tenno they so feared. The tenno, able to not only learn and adapt and go through body after body like the sentient themselves were also able to harness void energy, and this were able to push the sentient back, all the way to Tao. The tenno were being used however, Hunhow allowed his body to be shattered, and his daughter Natah took a human form to infiltrate us, and use our memories of a woman that helped and protected us to turn us against the Orokin. At the conclusion of the war we returned and were brought before the Orokin, where throughout the empire, all at once we cut their bodies down, and possibly consumed or destroyed their essence, their mind, their oro. With no further purpose, having destroyed our tyrannical masters, we went to sleep and the system was subsumed by chaos until our awakening by the lotus.
Now that u say it, it really makes sense! DE never released primes that weren't white or black base colored! That could be also because black and white are the colors that make it look more "prime" but in theory the "prime" look could not be the only reason for them to be black or white..
there's a problem with this theory, frost was a god that had turn a quarter of the galaxy into ice. the orokin tried to make a frost prime but all it did was freeze itself because frost prime was an idiot
Yea it was confirmed in Limbo quest, Mirage quest that before transference you were only stuck with 1 frame and 1 alone so if that frame died u died with it.
Man, I want valkyr umbra so bad. The look I'm imagining is awesome. Also, both Exacl umbra and valkyr are traumatized by their pasts. Umbra because he was made to kill his son without his own control, and valkyr by being literally pulled and cut apart and having corbus bits put into her.
The one plot hole i see is Nekros Prime, that frame is done in the white and gold style, but between the tailor and Nekros move set, I dont see how it fits. To begin with Nekros abilities dont seem to be something capable of a suit alone. Even more so Nekros isnt a frame about instilling order, the frames powers are about fear, and death. So for the theory to hold solid He would need to be a darker prime, if im reading into it correctly.
this isn't right, warframes were not developed until much later on, the original project was the technocyte super soldier program but it failed due to complications in controlling the golems, it wasn't until margulis' somatic link project was repurposed into the transference project and completed by ballas that they repurposed the old super soldier project to be used by the zariman children, and after many years of conflict against the sentients the warframes became an independent culture that created the 5 great schools, because of all their achievements they became recognized by the orokin empire and were hailed as saviors, but the warframes that were originally created were all prime variants, with the non-prime variants being created after the fall of the orokin empire due to significant constraints in resources required to build more primes, this constraint was significantly reduced centuries later partly by the salvaging and stripping operations of the grineer in orokin derelict constructs and by the re-emergence of high society by the corpus, plus the massive genocide that eradicated the previously severe overpopulation in the origin system prior to the old war. so in short the warframes only existed as experiments before zariman ten zero and only became military assets alongside the grineer and dax (the dax being the true royal guard) after the conception of transference, sry but your information is wrong dadefuye. th-cam.com/video/aAW1UxC_reo/w-d-xo.html
I am watching black clover rn and this is clearly based off of that but I think the white primes served for royalty (jade light) as war captains or something, and the dark frames were like a black opps squad for the jade light lol idk tho
I know this video is older than the sacrifice but you have it wrong sentients were made befote the prime frames however the dark frames could be variations of Umbras as those were made befote primes still after sentiants
but if Excal Umbra actually have new move sets like DE say, then those can't be count as Umbra but then what Umbra version of those frame will look like... they will flip to white color?
some of it yes i agree can work. but i want to point out about the things your saying about warframes without transferances being normal warriors. i heavy disagree as the original project the warframe project based it science on has been talked about in the lore and even one of the early prototypes has been revealed to us. in the glast gambit, glast tells use the item he rewards us is an old war relic, not a warframe. not only is nidus not identified as a warframe, but is also cringed upon by ordis, does not use void energy. in the rhino prime entry a prototype of the project the warframes was based on was set loose by davis an unknown scientist, who had his theories about the children of the void and their ability to potentially control these untamed infested beasts, which was proven right with the first known event of pure transferances seen in the lore. what i pull from current lore about the original project based on lore we have is that the project intended to create a organic weapon that the sentients couldn't control, but never was able to truly be completed because the infested when connected to the hive was volitable to none converted life, and when was not connect to the hive was a useless life less thing with the most minimal of base functions of survival.
Rain RedFox Here’s another one (if you didn’t know). That “dragon pelt” Chroma wears isn’t infested flesh, but rather is flesh torn from a sentient which took its toll on them, which is why we fight them.
Rain RedFox fun fact every single enemies we fight now were created by the Orokin yep no aliens just higher beings creations just messing up project after project
0:45 Grineer conga line
Germ Hehehe the moment you with you had Opticor with you.
This moment hurt me, i mean... Dread...
.. you guys think PENETRATION weapons, I think nidus 1 or atlas punch....
I remember have a line like that while using nidus.
I think Rhino Punch would be sweet to look at.
I like the idea of the lighter colors of primes are assign to more honnorable jobs and the darker colors are assign to the more dirty work
Thats how i used the lore to base my look except I went with bronze to look similar to a dax and keep that I am grunt for the Orokin lol
That seems like a cool logic, but I don't think it'd fit some frames. I mean, look at Chroma Prime. He looks like a goddaman royal knight, a quite honorable job, but he's dark tho...
Racist?
george floyd
Abyss of Dagath... Grendel Prime is white, but his trailer is all about how he's a gruesome abomination of a frame made to spite all views of honour and grace.
Valkyr prime contradicts this because she is a light prime but is seen to be ravage and uncontrollable while killing hundreds of foes

Valkyr prime looks like a royalty frame with the crown like accents on the helm Alad V tortured her turning her vicious

But its kinda funny because Frost and Rhino Prime are dark
I agree cause volt prime is so good and so made to kill tbh and so are the others
i live for warframe lore
0:45 that is like every warframe players dream WHY DIDN'T U TAKE THE SHOT lol
0:46 that Grineer line though

There's something wrong with spec A. On the lore the say that there were no registers of kids on the zariman.
Humberto de Jesús Domínguez Landeros.... umm your operator is a kid. A kid that was on the zariman...
Keep up the good work man I love this channel
Been waiting for a video about this , thank you. Very interesting theory.
You deserve a lot more subs mate. Really enjoy the Lore speculation content.
Thanks

Dexcalibur is out!
Dark primes are the edge lords and light primes are them nice guys
Dog Boy Valkyr and Saryn aren’t nice at all
Trinity is a dark frame and it's not made for killing like the other dark frames mentioned.

It's just speculation. Interesting ideas but I honestly don't think there's any meaning behind them.
Excalibur Umbra was the first frame. Pay attention to his story. During the sacrifice mission.
I like this theory and think it has merit to it. it explains why the different primes are different colours and with a lot of the primes and trailers it lines up. Trinity is a dark frame yet her whole thing is healing, Valkyr is a light frame yet her whole thing is violent uncontrollable murder, Ash is a light frame yet his entire gimick is ninja and stealthy assassinations, not brave defensive actions.
Also on the note of Nidus prime, I think the idea works really well for him because at the start he's a pristine light frame but once he starts building mutation stacks, he mutates into an uncontrollable dark frame which is just really cool to me, Its for reasons like this and the other recent prime frames that I think DE never thought of it but saw this theory somewhere and really liked it, they obviously couldn't change old primes but they can make sure all the new ones line up with it
Basically, that means Trinity is not based off a traditional healer or nurse, she is a vampire. That makes so much sense of her powers too.
What about nekros prime. In the trailer he does kill with out any emotion like the black prime frame yet this frame color is white.
Excalibur description says he is "the first one"
You deserve more credit. You make good content.
R.I.P Stephen Hawking
eater eater it doesn't have anything to do with the video 😕
Re3oo HD5450 Really? Thats what you have to say?
The stalker he was a great scientist and everything
Re3oo HD5450 Ahh, that's better 😉
The stalker who's ur latest prey? A mag? You seem.... polarised
2:22 where can i find this image?
Google
Equinox Prime: *Exist*
the wait is almost over bois update 23 will hit eventually bringing us Umbra and more lore
Yeah, it's at the point in update 22 where update 23 can come out at any time now.
Hopefully it's before Tennocon.
They are proly working on something that will surprise us.
i would rather wait longer unti it fully done,
i don't like rushing work as it will ruins the quality
Nah, 23 will be khora and her kavat
I’m hoping 24 will umbra tho
AhhahahahahahahhahahaahahhahahahahahhHHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHA
like you said, tenno were police and military hand of the orokin.
Your's..."
For me, this sentence will be not for the tenno or the player but maybe for Natah or maybe... For the orokin's life. The miracle will be the survival of the empire, and we know :
-------------(WARNING SPOILERS!!!)-------------------
Ballas is alive.
-------------(END OF SPOILER)------------------------
What do you think about that? This is maybe false, i am not aware of the entirely lore but right now, this theory make sense for me
(and sorry for my approximate english)
Ketsueko I like your theory
thank you TheDragonfriday ^^
I can get behind this. Could even mix with the warframe sentience one if they choose to.
So, why loki and ash prime has light color while oberon and trinity prime has dark color? (sory for my bad english)
don't worry i am not good too ^^
For this I don't really know the motivation behind the choice... Maybe because trinity and oberon have a more combat against army-oriented ability than loki. (loki disarm while oberon and trinity are more specialized in control/healing)
And for ash his design was insipired from samurai. And samurai are noble (this is maybe why ash is white)
Imagine if warframe did an event where they took out all light of bright colors for 2 weeks
And overall the game got darker they was more blood everything seemed dark
OMG THEN THEY COULD RELEASE VLAD AND GARUDA
*_Interesting_*
This is my favourite one yet!
Im just curious I ran into a video about the lore but forgot who posted it about energy colors having meaning in lore and forgot how it went im wondering besides light and dark but what about the blueish energy vs the red energy like stalker carries any lore on that?
And then there is booben, who is dark themed. The unit couldn't hurt a butterfly even if he wanted to.
MrJosh194 Nice point...
I want to *sacrifice myself*
ArE yOu ReAdY fOr- Ok I'll stop.
If we have to sacrifice the operator how we can take down the eidolon shield???
So let me explaint the factions:
Grineer -> from beg exist (human).
Corpus -> from beg exist (human).
Orokin -> from beg exist (human).
Sentient -> created by orokin for purpose untill it turns againts the orokin.
Infested -> created by orokin for deadly biology weapon that backfired.
Am i wrong?
Rurik the hunter nah man, infestation was made to fight sentients
Rurik the hunter watch stallordd's technocyte video
first of all orokin used technocyte virus (virus that can eat organics and non-organics) to create a bio-weapon to combat returning sentients. this backfired, the virus escaped and then infestation happened, wreaking havoc in the system. then, the virus was prohibited and its usage was seized. unknown time later, technocyte virus was used again for the warframe project.
how do you explain charger, leaper, runner, crawler?
sorry i missed your point. sentients are a race of machines, so why would they (orokin) use a virus that cant eat/consume non-organic (machines)? and ancients, the ancients are described as being hundreds of years older than the Corpus, so their deformed shape could also be attributed to years of infestation and mutation, so we dont really know what ancients are.
Saryn prime is a weapon against the infested whose outbreak happened in the dark days of the orokin but saryn is a light prime version.
My friend and I came up with a theory. After hearing what varzia said about how not all the warframes started as prime. Other had to earn it. What if that's how they showed who was prime from the start and the others who were made prime later?
Wow i am amazed. Good video keep it up👍
So, i have to dispute some of your timeline ideas, from what I've been able to piece together there were three major conflicts in the time of the Orokin empire.
2:22 where can I get the full picture of that
Huh that's interesting! Never even thought about that.
Now that u say it, it really makes sense!
DE never released primes that weren't white or black base colored!
That could be also because black and white are the colors that make it look more "prime" but in theory the "prime" look could not be the only reason for them to be black or white..
huge credit to

and other artists responsible for these drawings.
DADEFUYE never thought I'd missed white warframe but now i wish we had more.
there's a problem with this theory, frost was a god that had turn a quarter of the galaxy into ice. the orokin tried to make a frost prime but all it did was freeze itself because frost prime was an idiot
Yea it was confirmed in Limbo quest, Mirage quest that before transference you were only stuck with 1 frame and 1 alone so if that frame died u died with it.
How does this Explain Trinity? What dark/negative theme does she have other than the "omg plz nerf trinity" from the community?
Man, I want valkyr umbra so bad. The look I'm imagining is awesome. Also, both Exacl umbra and valkyr are traumatized by their pasts. Umbra because he was made to kill his son without his own control, and valkyr by being literally pulled and cut apart and having corbus bits put into her.
Justice to Revenge it Gives me chills just thinking about how correct this theory sounds
Love this series!
Quality content, well made..:)
my theory is that it will go like that for the umbra warframes because their like dark versions of prime warframes.
Umbra frames failed batch
Prime frame success
Regular frames soldier/cannon fodder
I think its more like that regular frames were for regular tenno. And the primes were for guards or elite tenno
whats your ingame settings plz!?!?!?!?
I will so love it if after Umbra gets introduced, the pirmes change names to Lux
Whats the explanation behind trinity prime then
One question,
Is nekros prime light or dark?
I was wondering about that too
Dark
For real, where can I find these warframe comics online?
this isn't right, warframes were not developed until much later on, the original project was the technocyte super soldier program but it failed due to complications in controlling the golems, it wasn't until margulis' somatic link project was repurposed into the transference project and completed by ballas that they repurposed the old super soldier project to be used by the zariman children, and after many years of conflict against the sentients the warframes became an independent culture that created the 5 great schools, because of all their achievements they became recognized by the orokin empire and were hailed as saviors, but the warframes that were originally created were all prime variants, with the non-prime variants being created after the fall of the orokin empire due to significant constraints in resources required to build more primes, this constraint was significantly reduced centuries later partly by the salvaging and stripping operations of the grineer in orokin derelict constructs and by the re-emergence of high society by the corpus, plus the massive genocide that eradicated the previously severe overpopulation in the origin system prior to the old war.
so in short the warframes only existed as experiments before zariman ten zero and only became military assets alongside the grineer and dax (the dax being the true royal guard) after the conception of transference, sry but your information is wrong dadefuye.

luv you content!
so how about trinity prime?
How do you explain Trinity prime?
Where did you get the picture at 2:12?
Octavia's web comic.
background song?
Sooo. Light Frames = Orokin Peacekeepers
Dark Frames = Bread Assasins
I am watching black clover rn and this is clearly based off of that but I think the white primes served for royalty (jade light) as war captains or something, and the dark frames were like a black opps squad for the jade light lol idk tho
There's a couple of minor details that you got wrong, but the overall theory is really good :)
I know this video is older than the sacrifice but you have it wrong sentients were made befote the prime frames however the dark frames could be variations of Umbras as those were made befote primes still after sentiants
Holy shit I just realized we basically already have umbra frames
but if Excal Umbra actually have new move sets like DE say, then those can't be count as Umbra but then what Umbra version of those frame will look like... they will flip to white color?
Oh no, my boi Frost Prime
Wb lobster prime though?
I think you're taking this too far. Vauban looks better darker, same goes for ember. It's purely aesthetics
Yeah not to mention that light frames get dark primes and dark frames get light primes
not all lore is created at the start lol
Nice video
0:00 Time Inception by Hans Zimmer
Your welcome
I believe that the very first Warframe was Nidus. The orokins tried to make Excalibur but they put too much infected so it was a fail.
The Stalker his body somewhat resembles Excalibur also just very distorted
Now. What about Dexcalibur?
it's sounds like a reasoable explanation to the dark and light color scheme
I'm getting a stalker vibe from umbra.
best theory that i've heard for the moment
Except that Trinity is black and Valkyr/Saryn are white...
I like this theory
Oberon’s a healer and he’s a dark prime
So frost prime is a stone cold murdering machine??
I'm so fucking down with that...
dude it clearly says on excals description that he was the first
i liked it very much
Hey you forgot hydroid . How he violated his way through hordes of enemies while he recorded it all and uploaded it on brazzers
Is banshee a light or dark prime tho?
I think dark
Is nekros light or dark? His front is white his back is black
Sounds like the Inception soundtrack
some of it yes i agree can work. but i want to point out about the things your saying about warframes without transferances being normal warriors. i heavy disagree as the original project the warframe project based it science on has been talked about in the lore and even one of the early prototypes has been revealed to us. in the glast gambit, glast tells use the item he rewards us is an old war relic, not a warframe. not only is nidus not identified as a warframe, but is also cringed upon by ordis, does not use void energy. in the rhino prime entry a prototype of the project the warframes was based on was set loose by davis an unknown scientist, who had his theories about the children of the void and their ability to potentially control these untamed infested beasts, which was proven right with the first known event of pure transferances seen in the lore. what i pull from current lore about the original project based on lore we have is that the project intended to create a organic weapon that the sentients couldn't control, but never was able to truly be completed because the infested when connected to the hive was volitable to none converted life, and when was not connect to the hive was a useless life less thing with the most minimal of base functions of survival.
What is that at 2:30
Operator skin
Maybe that's why we still missing the hydroid trailer
light primes are probably the volunteers... and the dark ones are not so volunteers... :D
Bakunawa BenHierro And dark ones because they did not want to volunteer, they went crazy on the orokin, but the orokin got the grasp on them
Hmm Umbra is grey so I wonder if he represents a balance
Warframe needs alot more cinematic videos
But, why is trinity a dark frame?
Night Shade She probably went crazy on the orokin, as her former human self did not volunteer, but then the orokin had a grasp on her
so, how much of this is speculation and how much is confirmed
01:42 orokin created a sentient? Now that's a plot twist for me..
I like to think of Excalibur umbra as a prototype to the "dark" primes
Black note agreed
When the heck was there a warframe comic?!
They've released web comics on Octavia, harrow, and vay hek; there are also physical comics with 3 issues already.
Oh boy I hear some Hans Zimmer
