Apologies for the music being too loud! We will take this into account for the future!
I love the fact that the Orokin are responsible for EVERY problem in warframe. Including giving the void sentience.
Well, that could've been anyone if they weren't first to do it, that's the one main difference. Everything else? Yeah, they built it with intent or it was a direct consequence to their mistreatment of others.
Also the orokin started out as the Jeff Bezos and Elon Musks of the world. Self entitled overvalued shitheels.
Orokin *breaths
Reality itself: do you have any idea of the consequences of your blunder
they are so unfatomably Based its hard to even grasp
If my man wasnt so afraid that his other self wanted to break reality to get back to him it would all be good. Well maybe, Duviri kind of shows how those manifested emotions fully could be socially engineered to be released to the void in a orderly-ish manner.
"Phenotypically distinct" ---SOMEONE know what words mean! I dig it.
It's funny how they're not allowed to create AI because they're afraid of the reprocussions, but Ballas' arrogant ass signs off on making the Sentients and then sends them away by themselves to populate an entire system. 🤦♀️ Nothing could possibly go wrong 😂
He did that on purpose. He's always been playing both sides. Check out the end of the crewman simaris entry again. I think its the crewman.
He wanted to eliminate his competition. (Other Orokin)
@@thimovijfschaft3271 Well, he only expressed a desire to eliminate the Orokin after Margulis was killed. But he has been conniving and scheming all his life, for sure.
The nature of the Void is so akin to Warhammer 40k's Warp that the Orokin could be a precursor race in that setting. Bonus points for being blue skinned and near a planet called Tau.
So we are the bad guys! We created pure chaos in the system which lead to countless lives being lost and then just pissed of into cryosleep.
This is a valid perspective that some characters like Drusus Leverian have stated!
I mean lotus did go [*the time has come execute order 66*] once the sentients were defeated
Very good work please keep making these
I need a tshirt that says, "STUDY, ANALYZE, AND WAIT"
Amazon & eBay has plenty of custom shirt options lowkey. eBay is better for designing
@@Kawaiijihad I would much rather Mr. Archon create some official merch so we can all support him.
I've watched probably hundreds hours of Warframe content (and I appreciate all the work content creators do) but THIS vid finally has the answers to all my questions! 💯And it also very well-made! Amazing work!
PS. Background music can be slightly lower. I'm listening on 5.1 speaker system, still hear the voice loud and clear but the music is a bit too loud.
Thanks for the feedback. I'm still fine-tuning the process, but yeah I coulda toned down the music. Glad you liked it!
Listening on headphones, and woah... Had to turn volume down a few times below what I could hear the voice. Music needs turned down quite a bit.
the Orikin could have solved all their problems but their hubris wanted more at the same time. Imagine how smart they were to still have tech that can't be deciphered.
It's simple. The Curator drops a video and I watch it. I also leave a thumbs up.
It's simple. The Phenomenist writes a great instrumental track and I use it in a video. I also thank him profusely.
@@OrokinArchivesfor a long while I thought the music was actual Warframe music! It's that good @wanderingphenomenist 😁
@@DaniCamo That's very kind of you!
I love Warframe lore
Excellent overview of the Warframe lore!
The Innodem Dagger description hint at a time in which the Orokin were much more benevolent.
Maybe they started out as a group that was able to bring back humanity back from the brink after the latest attempt at self-destruction.
Given the ban on AI, I wager some sort of AI uprising was responsible for that particular apocalypse.
Or maybe one the first generations of Infestation tech got out of control and Earth almost ended up like Deimos, before the Orokin ancestors mastered the Infestation.
Of not is also that the Orokin society that was eventually built, was based on Plato's Ideal Republic. Sadly, the Orokin became a far cry from the philosopher kings Plato imagined.
Yeah, the Innodem description is quite interesting in this context. As I note, we don't know anything about the origins of the Orokin or how their civilisation came to be. These things could be possible! Or maybe the Innodem was just a part of the propaganda the Orokin told to their subjects. Maybe one day we'll know the answer.
Amazing video Gray!
What an amazing video, keep up the good work!
What a great fucking video.
you are my new binge channel
Little addition: Nihil the Glassmaker is also an Executor, a member of the Seven. Nora Night describes him as such.
Nora just calls him "worse than an executioner, worse even than an Excruciator", with no other reference to his rank or title. Right now there's nothing referring to him as an Executor, though that of course can change in the future.
@@OrokinArchivesI would refer to the Gara Prime trailer. In most of them, Ballas seems to be talking to the other seven, and in that, Nihil is said to have called for glassing of the volunteer who would become Gara. He is also referred to as an Executor with a capital E at least few times, which is reserved only for the members of The Seven. I would also refer to what Nora says during the Nihil fight: " "Lot of info in here, Glassmaker. Legem 6-243. 'No capital sentence shall be passed without unanimous consent of the Seven, on pain of...' Oh, look at that. 'Forfeiture of all tools of office, banishment.' Huh. You're a criminal.". The fact that the word "unanimous" is used there suggests heavily that Nihil was in fact a member of The Seven. Ps. Love your work.
@@villepore7013 I think there's certainly evidence to suggest Nihil was one of the Seven Executors. I was just noting it hasn't been conclusively stated in the lore yet. Glad you enjoy the Archives!
16:09 orokin: we did it we won the war the sentients are retreating and hunhow is sealed
Lotus(natah) to the Tenno: [*the time has come execute order 66*]
Great video!
was, am and will be, forever loyal to the Orokin
Great video, explains many things I didn't know until now, I see the effort of recorded related materials and well speak explanation. I would recommend other to watch if they starting to play Warframe and enjoy the story but I got no friend...so...I'll just follow and like the video
Me: trying to listen
Music: so anyway I started blasting
Sorry! Will definitely adjust in the future.
I love the video bro, but your ambient music is a little too loud, also I’d love to do a deep dive on one of the factions for you, I’ve been wanting to do an analysis of the Grineer for the longest.
Loved the video. The only thing I would recommend is lowering the background music volume. Great video
Darn it. We were afraid someone was going to say that. We're still learning about TH-cam's audio compression, so we'll try and get it better next time.
@@WanderingPhenomenist don’t worry it was still lovely!
Thanks for the tip! We're still learning as we go along.
@@OrokinArchivesI recommend slapping a compressor on the music, and using your voiceover as a sidechain. This way the volume gets reduced based of how loud you talk.
@@thimovijfschaft3271 Thanks for the suggestion. All the audio is already pretty compressed, and TH-cam compresses it further. We'll check out sidechaining compression for next time, though.
Do you have a video explaining the "Tenno Faction"? When we go to the Relays there are several humans performing numerous functions, guards, workers, when we carry out defense or rescue missions we save and defend operatives. Who are these people? Are the Tenno in present-day lore part of an organized group? And are these humans the non-Tenno members of the faction?
I don't have a video on that yet. It could be a future topic. But to answer some of your questions now: these are human civilians who have agreed to work for the Lotus - she's the main logistical commander for the Tenno as a whole. The cause of the Tenno can draw many to their banner, or simply hatred of the Grineer and Corpus. However, working with the Tenno carries a death sentence if they fall into enemy hands, according to Cephalon Cordylon: "Those who work within Tenno Relays are in fact a privileged few, but their allegiance to our cause does come at the loss of safety beyond our harbour."
The Grineer are the most grotesque? I would thought the infestation would take that hands down.
I suppose I meant "grotesque" in the form of "cruel", since it's an ongoing punishment for each living Grineer. Though the same can be said for the Infestation as well, perhaps.
Great video ❤
So it appears that not ALL of their constructions were made from flesh. otherwise the ships design makes no sense.
I have a feeling 1999 gotta tell us sbt the esrly history
I think that's quite likely, and I'm looking forward to it!
Possibly at some point could you explain the existence of duviri specifically and how/why it’s a thing that part was a little fuzzy to me when playing in game.
Yes, Duviri is one of the topics I wish to cover in the near future. In the meantime, you can read my Discussion article about Duviri here: www.orokinarchives.com/discussion-duviri
10:41 I've recently watched a new Tenno (Legendary Drops) do the Apostasy Prologue. It seems DE have altered this somewhat, from "Jade Light" to "Jade light" in the subtitles, possibly converting this mode of execution from a disintegrating beam to an actual Warframe doing the execution. Hopefully this could be further verified come Jade Shadows update in June.
Actually, it was always "Jade light" in the Apostasy Prologue (and in The Sacrifice as well). However, later references like Lavos' Leverian and Archimedian Yonta capitalise it fully.
So futuristic America.
You must have a shit education if you think any of this is America.
what if the orokin was also a servant race n those spirits yu c on the moon is the real masters? but they since either left the realm of body or the orokin rebelled against them
that could've been the radiation wars where a majority of the masters of the orokin simply shed their flesh and became spirit life forms not concerned with the material any more
Pretty much the Dwemer of warframe
The worst decision DE made was making all the orikin have one big arm, blue skin, and white eyes.
?
@@justsogusto4979 Orinially in lore it was implied that Ballas alone had blue skin and an elongated arm due to his own ego. The Orokin valued symmetry and beauty, hence why the healers who had one long arm were shunned.
The lore around the Orokin's aesthetics is rather spotty. The Lorist healers were asymmetrical because the Lora device protruded from their right foreheads, not because they had long arms. Their healing devices were implanted in their palms, which is the source of the Infested Ancient's healing ability, but they are never stated to have the long arms of the Orokin.
The Orokin are the reason that most of the warframes lore happened. Albrect (I hope I spelled that right) literally made a Eldrich God.
