Even if the "looking at the dugout" excuse is BS, it is 100% legal in baseball. The pitcher was tipping pitches and/or the catcher was moving to his spot too early. Ultimately the Blue Jays fault if so

I am not a Yankee fan, however the fact the Blue Jay announcers brought it up doesn’t mean they thought he was cheating. They were wondering why he keep looking in the dugout.

I was watching that at-bat. There was no accusation of cheating, Buck and Dan just noticed Judge's weird behaviour and they wondered what he was doing. They thought he was looking at the first-base coach.

If Judge's explanation is true, his behavior is also affected by the pitch clock. He took a peak into the dugout from the box like he did b/c the clock forces him to be in the box. If this situation happened last year, he could've looked in the dugout, & maybe even yelled at his team to stop chirping, in between pitches. He doesn't have the time to do that anymore b/c of the clock.

I love complaining about the Yankees but this is a bit much. He hits a bad pitch hard and that's not uncommon. And his reason he was looking that way makes sense and it isn't illegal. This is just more either being a yankee fan and defending it or a yankee hater seeing what they want to see.

Big fan of Rich, but I don't think he used the "Cy Young to Sayonara" reference correctly. In speaking about Alek Manoah, he says he's been terrible, saying he's "doing the Sparky Lyle, "Cy Young to Sayonara." However, Sparky Lyle was not terrible the year after he won the 1977 Cy Young. Yes, his ERA went up (from 2.17 to 3.47), but he actually had a good record (9-3). Rather, he was severely underutilized compared to the season before, because the Yankees picked up Goose Gossage from the Pirates that off-season, and Lyle got moved out of his closer role (29 saves in 1977, just 9 in 1978). The Yankees then traded him to Texas for the 1979 season in a multi-player deal which brought Dave Righetti to the Yanks. So, Lyle went from a star to getting traded in just over a season, which is the intent of the statement, which was uttered by Graig Nettles.

Too right Rich. The announcers were being little b!#$%es because the home team was down. If you say “cheat”, you BETTER have facts and evidence.

Toronto announcers in general tend to stoop this low

Didn't watch that broadcast, did you? They never said "cheat". In fact, they made it clear that the most likely explanation was that Jackson was tipping his pitches, and it was getting related to Judge. That isn't cheating in the slightest.
