- A short compilation of some of the more interesting tests we have done in the past to validate products according to the strictest standards of the automotive industry, that we defined with the help of the automotive OEMs, Tier1s, Legislation and that special ingredient X that we added.
- Accelerated high-performance hard cornering (lateral loads)
- Powered thermal cycle endurance (PTCE)
- Performance (dynamic, static, etc.)
- 100G shock tests in all axes
- Random vibration endurance
- IP testing (salt mist, water immersion, temperature shock immersion, mud bath...)
- Ice build-up
- Mixed gas corrosion resistance
- NVH and acoustic emissions
- Winter conditions on-vehicle testing
- Drop tests

Impressive, i've been waiting for this since forever, in fact since i discover the hub motors for bikes.
I would love to work with you guys and put a pair of that M700 in my 1st gen Smart Forfour.
(150kw in a 900kg car plus the 80kw from stock motor) that would be awesome.
Elaphe has been doing amazing work with a small team. The Aptera vehicle that launched last week uses them. The first prototype is on the roads around the San Diego area. Since then, they have gotten more than 100 million dollars in preorders, for more vehicles than Tesla sold of their Roadsters in 4 years. The demand is so high that orders placed now won't be built until 2022 at the earliest, but we may see the first production versions on the road in late 2021. Good things are coming.

Can someone make a video about using these on a build from scratch? If I knew more about how they work and how to fit them to design I would buy a couple knowing how to use them.
This motor is what's going in the Lordstown Endurance truck... I hope they've found an efficient way to tackle the issue of having so much unsprung weight
Unsprung weight is more of an issue the faster the speed, and the lighter the vehicle. So a truck is less of an issue.
This would be great for my '18 elantra for the rear wheels. Then I can have an actual AWD car.
Inspiring but three (3) years later, still no mention of a price.
I’d convert my Range Rover p38 if an aftermarket kit was available, it gets used to cross a few fields, a bit of town driving and some motorway. A general all rounder but only about 4,000 miles a year and at most for 110 miles in any one day

That's great. But how can you install such motors on old cars which don't have CAN-control system (just simple functions as ABS)?
E.g. Any FWD car made before 2000-s.
It is easier than with the new electronics on wheels :P
