    Thank you so much, very detailed and helpful. Always wondered if the top vent would come out for cleaning.

    It seems that this cool one is much better than the worm one that I feel like would catch on fire in the middle of the night to clean.

    I think what it was meaning is to put 1 cup of vinegar to 1 gallon of water and pour into the base as needed and then the rest into the tank

    I use distilled water on the humidifier (not tap water). So I really don't have all that white buildup on it.. do I still need to go thru the cleaning process every week or is it better to skip a week in between cleanings?

    • @robr.7283
      @robr.7283 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The base still gets slimy after a week. I use distilled water also and I clean it once a week and have no problem at all.

      Yeah Rob R. and M D are right the humidifier still needs to be cleaned about once a week. It helps keep it free of mold and germs.

    Thanx for the review. Can you suggest a link where I could buy demineralisation (UK-English) cartridge, or just kindly let know me the model name or number or that cartridge. And do I dry them(24hr) before bleaching, or can I bleach them straight afterwards & then dry them? MaybeI dry them sooner with a hair dryer 🤔. Not direct heat off-course that might weaken the rubber sealant. Just for fast air drying. Maintenance was something I did not review before my wife ordered it. 🤷🏽‍♂️

    Hey I just saw your video, I appreciate it, but I was wondering how do u clean the filter part, can u help?

      If your talking about the demineralization cartridge then you don't wash those you replace them every one to two months, or 30 to 40 fillings under normal use.

    After we rinse all the vinegar and bleach we use a hand towel to dry the humidifier. It takes a little extra time but ready to use the same day or packed away.

    How about using a blow dryer to dry it?

    On weekly basis cleaning do we just need to soak and clean it with vinegar or do we also need to follow the disinfecting part? Any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks

    • @easyaspiehowtovideos
      @easyaspiehowtovideos  5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      For me I have decided that the disinfecting part is more important. I only use the vinegar if I notice a build up of minerals that I need to clean off, but the germs and bacteria is what I really want to make sure gets cleaned up.

      Amazon.com sells them for sure and your local walgreens/CVS should have them too. Every how often do you clean with vinegar? Once a week or daily after every use?
    I read somewhere you have to dump out of the water daily ? Thank you!

    • @easyaspiehowtovideos
      @easyaspiehowtovideos  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I clean it out with bleach mixture once a week to take care of germs and bacteria but the vinegar mixture I only use if I notice mineral build up on the inside.

    Why the hell it’s so difficult to clean , the manufacturer don’t have their way to clean it ?

  • @propagandist2311
    @propagandist2311 4 ปีที่แล้ว +5

    lol. come on now. its not rocket science to fill the tank with 1 cup of vinegar put the lid back on, and then set it up right maybe back in the water tray? that way the vinegar is soaking all the parts that would be sitting in water if it were being used. common sense aint so common i guess.
