Hope he sees this comment, but these videos are awesome and executed and explained well. As someone who is extremely interested in watching speedruns and learning about glitches, but not really actually devoting the time to speedruns, these videos are perfect.
I think he should keep this type of content up and even expand to other popular speedran games that are glitch heavy. You can tell his passion towards these videos, I love this. I watched all his glitch/skip videos already and want more. You sir, gained a sub with the bell, along with likes on all the videos, well done.

I always try to get super precise when placing those doors in hammer maps, and spend way too much time on it, whilst occasionally leaving gaps by mistake. I'm glad I'm not alone in that, especially with valve X3

I never knew Portal Bumping worked in Portal 2!! This is a great video even just for casual fun speedthroughs.
Defective Turret Boosting seems very similar to Cherry Hovering in A Hat in Time; the difference being that rather than repulsion, the cherries are lifted by the player picking up the bottom one and being pushed upwards by the top one at the same time, thus causing both of the cherries as well as the player to gain height indefinitely.

Binging these videos and I can not believe how many game-breaking, mindblowingly simple glitches were overlooked by Valve.
About 2 years ago i ran into a chamber (in the custom chambers) that was imposible for me to pass by. Now i know that required this glitch to completed it. After 2 years i can finally stop thinking about it. Thank you

The turret redemption line isn't the only place you can get defective turrets, in part 9, you can get them for that one moving room.

Portal 2 is a game that never gets old and listening to how complicated speed running is, makes it even better.
I think the canonical reason for the defective repelling is magnets. Most computers have magnets in them. Magnets of the same polarity repel eachother. So maybe the base frame has one magnet, S, and the panelling has the other magnet, N.

I remember discovering the pancake glitch on the door by complete accident. It was close to when the game first came out when I was still a kid. I don't remember what I was trying to do, but I was blindly shooting at one of the circular doors. Then I noticed a portal opened up on one of my shots so I naturally made another one and was juat kinda like 'Cool . . .'

I'm not sure why that would feel like sweeping ice with a broom.
There's a bonus glitch in the defective turret area; If you take the Cave Johnson turret with you and place it on the turret template station, it instantly becomes a defective turret.
I used the portal bump on my first playthrough without even thinking. I figured that was just the way to do it.
