- Due to Ford chassis delays, our clients had an extended wait period to receive their new Black Edition. What started as a 2022 F-550 was pushed to a 2023 and the results were "worth the wait", as Doug and Cindy excitedly mentioned. Check out the debut of their new 2023 Stone Gray F-550 Black Edition.

For example sometime when my Arabic friends write to me, it’s can be hard for me to understand. Your language and the way you write and speak is so beautiful, & poetic. We use ARB dual compressor and plumb the lines to/near the wheel wells for our onboard air package.

So the suspension needs to be in a certain position to fuel the truck? If that’s true, seems like something needs to be engineered a little better
It’s not mandatory, just fills quicker with a downward slope to the tank.

Would you happen to know how long the light strip is that comes with that? I was thinking of changing the light strip to a RGB light strip instead of the one that comes with it.

Thank you! However, with 1/4" steel bumper and 3/4" steel winch cradle within, truck would be relatively unscathed from a deer hit.

Lift, flares, steel bumpers, tire & wheel selection…and stickers. Have we reached a limit?
I drove 2020 F350 DRW 6.7 for 60k miles and was waiting for 2023 F450 Limited for 11 months. With no end in sight, I jumped the ship and purchased 2023 Ram 3500 Limited DRW HO 6.7 , Aisin Trans, 4.1 Gear with black out package. I had full body Suntek PPF and Ceramic coating plus nano ceramic tint for interior including the windshield. I am overly surprised how good is Ram 3500 Limited. It has better interior, smoother with auto leveling kit, TPMS, Apple like keypad. Gas mileage is par with F450 Limited. Around 15.5 driving empty. Tire will be cheaper on Ram 3500 than F450 Limited. It is not a fast truck, but fast enough . I can drive few hours and my back doesn't hurt and leg is not cramping up. I do not tow, but do haul some weight and this is my daily vehicle. I will take the Ram over Ford now but do miss 10 speed on gas mileage. I am 5'10" tall and it is very hard to see the front. On Ram, I usually have to wait before taking a chance on a tight spot. Now let's talk about this beautiful F550.. How does one do the maintenance work on this truck away from Denver CO? Is there a maintenance do list? What is the cost of F500 like on this TH-cam?
We retain all factory warranties so the truck can be serviced by Ford or anyone else. The only maintenance item on our builds outside of the standard routine maintenance is a desiccant filter on the power control module for the LiquidSpring suspension. Every couple of years the filter just needs to be unscrewed and replaced as it collects moisture; very cheap part.

Originally ordered a 22 through Ford; it pushed back so far they switched them over to a 23. We received their 23 and built the Black Edition.

Howdy, do you guys do a Black Edition upgrade to currently owned F550s? What is the price difference between upgrading a F550 compared to buying a Black Edition F550? Also, what about a Black Edition with a flatbed configuration? I have a 2024 F350 on order but i am strongly considering canceling it for a F550 due to the cost of upgrading a F350 to what I want. Thanks in advance.
We build turnkey trucks from brand new chassis cabs. We pre order chassis’ and sell them on a reservation basis. Many of our clients have opted for a flatbed rather than pickup bed and we can configure those with a build as well.

I’ve been a Ford fan(more like fanatic) my entire life, and I couldn’t even begin to comprehend what it’d be like to drive around in this truck. I drive a 2006 F250 King Ranch Powerstroke, and driving that already makes me feel like I’m king of the road.

Ford, they ordered a 22, due to delays Ford pushed it to 23. 22 was a miserable year, suppliers lost most of their employees during covid. I deliver to FORD and GM, it's crazy how short staffed all manufacturers are still. The delays had nothing to do with EOD..

What they don't know is, that truck has a ticking time bomb with the exploding fuel pump, that will cost them a motor.
Fortunately, none of our clients have had that issue.
That looks pretty mean. That thing isn't going anywhere fun. It's too big to go anywhere but the desert or the mall. My F250 doesn't fit anywhere for heaven's sake. My F450 really doesn't fit anywhere. An F550. Forget it. It's like an earth roamer. LOL. AN RV would have been the best choice. IMO this truck will be useless except for pulling a trailer. But it is REALLY cool!!! IF ya got more dollars than sense - go for it.
