I appreciate the peq you sent me for the mega5est and EBC80! It really did liven up the sound on the both of them and especially on the EBC80 opened up the BCs!

they are using titanium or aluminum because their plastic shell is garbage and broke vere fast less than a year in my opinion thieaudio DONT WORTH ITS FINACIAL

I was surprised by how much you like this set knowing you're not a fan of all BA sets. Bass quality and treble VALHALLA vs OMEGA? I can't get over est drivers for treble, but I also prefer resolving IEMS...😩

your PEQ settings are amazing! How you develop them technically is skill, and art. There is such a lively treble sizzle to your EQ's but somehow not sibilant?! Truly stunning what you do.

I was really waiting for this one. Thankyou so much. I really like the S-tier and A-tier list. I have tried the Fatfreq Gran Maestro and glad to see that they both are nearly the same in terms of ratings, and naturally would expect similar listening experience. Hope I can try them side by side. But would love a comparison video between the top 5 S-tiers ...

why do you say that a dap with 500mW should be enough ? when the impedance lowers the power required goes down, at 9 ohms impedance a 30mW apple dongle must be at 5% volume to reach the normal 77 db loudness. what you should say instead is to look out for the output impedance of the source to be under 1 ohms , with the rule of thumb that the output impedance of the source should be less than 1/8 th of the iem impedance to avoid messing up the frequency response of hybrid iems. for example a fiio ka17 with a 1.5Ω output impedance of the 4.4mm plug is not good enough for valhalla. and a aune x1s GT at 10ohms output impedance ( bal ) and 5 ohms (se) is surely going to completely mess up the sound signature

Have you heard about the jds labs element 4 which has peq which doesn't degrade sound quality a bit and works better than anything ever software based. Would love your take on that

I have used an ipod for many years and it was adequate but some of my iems love extra power and i do have an ibasso dx 220, but have been afraid to transfer 6365 songs and their HD album art to the ibasso. Can you or any others out there help me to transfer it all to the ibasso. I categorized everything into genres and i know i will lose all the genres and can't get them back but would be willing to lose a hundred or so genres but have 300 or so. Any suggestions?? Thanks! Add a 180 degree usb c or equivalent to your mobile setup you won't mind the plug length so much. I velcro my dac to the back of my phone for a nice setup. Can't stand the loop coming out of the bottom of my mobile to dac. Fits in pocket nice and usb is safe. Rock solid.

very nice review i enjoyed it very much. i own the monarch mk3 and love its bass and vocals but i cant use it (or any other iem) for more than 1 hr due to size / eartips issues. therefore i purchased a CIEM (first ever as well) mega5est bass+ with manta cable and hope it'll come this month and check how it fits and sound. would u be able to tell me if its a good choice comin from the mmk3? sadly thieaudio dont do ciems so i couldnt reshell it so went for the bass+ instead. hope you can share some personal thoughts :) thanks a bunch
