I know nothing about any engine internals but that's like buying a new car. But I believe you could find some second hand V12 engine. None the less bro you have a clean garage. I challenge you to keep it clean until this day next year.
@@parisnmothlele1334 You can definitely drive off in a nice car with that money😅 On the garage, thank you. Challenge accepted but that is the way I roll so I will definitely win this one😁
What a crazy bill. Mercedes is a bit crazy. The other day I took my E350d in for a minor service. Parts was R1,800 yet somehow labour was R5,800! They're crazy. I guess their small service items are not expensive but the big stuff are especially since this is an AMG. But like you said, I can't understand why the individual parts are so expensive.
Mercedes BMW Audi etc all have lost the plot. They claim they want to save the planet yet.... 1. The cost of repair (labour and parts) is often too expensive to keep a car on the road or to keep it legal e.g in the EU the cost of replacing a DPF is too expensive and the car is then scrapped (because removing a DPF is illegal). 2. Cars are made to meet the latest style trends as opposed to make them practical and useful. Every few years an LCI/facelift comes out.... 3. The ecological and environmental cost of scrapping a car is way more than keeping a car on the road as mentioned in 1.
@@kevinhearts616 If you use the word discount, they wanna call the cops on you 🤣. I will definitely spend some time on the overseas market for better options

I think at this point it's more financially wise to get a used engine because parts alone are already off the roof, now add oil, seals, bolts, cost of turbo used or new, radiator parts, coolers, bumpers, your labour time etc that's running your pocket deeper than a black hole. Compare the cost total to the price of a used low mileage engine and see which is better... The price you put up will buy even a new honda 2024....jeeeze.
