That’s a lot of corn for two people! You could store two ears in each package and have nine packages for the winter. So glad you found the video useful!!! I love preserving summer veggies to enjoy all year long! Thanks for watching and your comment. Have a blessed day!
This is so great because everytime I blanch them then freeze them, they are so soggy when I heat them up later and so I never freeze corn. But now, I am so inspired to try this. Makes sooooooooooooo much sense to just freeze them uncooked. Can’t wait! Thank you so much!!!!
What a great gift! You will be enjoying corn for the entire year! 😊 This is such an easy method and I’m so glad I could help with your bounty! Thanks for watching and have a blessed day!
Idk if anyone has ever told you but the worst thing you can use and cut knives on is a glass cutting board like you have. I learned this myself just a few years ago. Use a bamboo or any kind of wood cutting board and condition with beewax. Save your knives. ❤
Hi 🤩! That's a GREAT idea to freeze FRESH CORN. TYFS. P.S. Have you ever cooked Corn on the Cob (in the Husk), in the microwave?? I recently heard of it, tried it; & I will NEVER again cook it any other way. If you haven't already, pleeeeez give it a try 😋😋!!
You should try to start using a cutting board. That's really hard on a knifes edge. You will have sharper knives for longer. And thank you for the video I'm gonna try this with my harvest from the garden.
I came to the comments to say the same thing. It looks like she is using a “cutting board” of sorts but it sounds and looks like glass or something and it’s wrecking the edge of her knifes. I’m sure like me you’re not meaning for your comment to come across an any kind of negative way but genuinely trying to be helpful.
Did you know that we surfers looked for a way to preserve fresh corn on the cob? That's how I started your video. After a minute when you explained how it's a good idea to preserve fresh corn I had to cut you off. I'm going to make a video to show you how to do it in 2 minutes not 20.
This is the method I prefer and if works perfect every time. Cooking fresh corn only takes a few minutes and storming them with the husks attached helps to preserve them.
Usually the inner shucks are a brighter light shade of green than the outside ones that are dryer and more dull. I’m so glad you enjoyed the video! Thanks for watching and I hope you have a blessed weekend! 😊
I do have one and they are great! However, not every one does so I like to show a method that is easy for everyone. Thanks for watching and have a blessed day!
Quick and easy. Just the way I like it ! Thanks so much for putting out this video
You’re welcome! Thank you for watching and for your comment. Have a blessed day!
Thanks so much for this! Hubby brought home 18! Haha...just the 2 of us. So happy to have for the winter!!

Great advice 👍
Yummy!!
Yes! It’s a simple way to keep enjoying fresh corn for many months! Thanks for watching! Have a great weekend!!!
Thank you so much for this! I was gifted over 500 ears of sweet corn today and was hoping for a way to freeze it in husk. 🙂🌽🌽🌽🌽🌽

So glad I found this!
I had no idea it was so simple. I appreciate the details & information you provided.
Thanks for the nicely done video, Steph. Tried it this afternoon with today’s harvest. Yay.
Thanks Steph. ❤
You are so welcome!
Thank you soooo much Steph. My mom always blanched. This one s much easier!!!
Can’t wait to try it!
I'll give it a try. What I will also try is blanch and shock method too. Wait a few months and give them both a go for comparison.
Nice 👌 thank you

My only negative was it was a little juicy after being frozen. Is that normal? Thank you
Thank you!

Can you cream it after you freeze it like this??
Oh so basically just freeze them yeah that don't work blanching keeps them from being meally and soggy
I'm looking for another way any other way

The other guy said boil first. Buy fresh, microwave same day. Eat! JUST LIKE THE INDIANS 😅😅
Why do the bagged cobs look greener than before...

AND dull your knife!
Thank you but glass cutting boards are the most useless kitchen items ever made.
You need a food saver

Sharp knife on a glass cutting board. - Women 😫🤡
You were not "gifted." That is not possible. You received the corn "as a gift." Be more careful.
