  • @beardddown
    @beardddown ปีที่แล้ว +19

    Mazi Smith could be what Vita Vea is for the Bucs. It's a reach and it's a position around as important as center, but it still helps the Cowboys get better since they don't really have a good nose tackle.

    How is trading away aaron rodgers a mistake?! That was a good decision, and the fact that they were no longer in win now mode, had a young qb who could be good sitting behind him, and got a 1st and second round pick for a regressing 40 year old qb seems like a really good decision

    "The Bills needed a WR2"
    Yes. That's why they drafted Dalton Kincaid, genius. He's literally a WR playing tight end. He IS their WR2. Knox is the in-line tight end. They aren't playing the same position.

    • @stevegallo8483
      @stevegallo8483 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      TPS shows once again how clueless they are. They compared Dalton Kincaid to Travis Kelce, and Kelce is literally a big wide receiver playing at tight end.

      @stevegallo8483 my favorite was actually later in the video when they said the Jets should have drafted an o-lineman instead of Will McDonald.
      Uh, guys, that was their plan before Pittsburgh traded up and took the last top linemen at 14. The next tackle taken was Anton Harrison at 27 and the next IOL was Steve Avila at 36. But it's the JETS who messed up by not massively reaching, apparently

    As a Bears fan, I still believe that TJ Edwards, my former Lakes Community High School football teammate of mine, will be the main defensive difference maker for the Bears defense ever since the Eagles released him in free agency and he signed a three year deal with the Bears! He was that one linebacker in Super Bowl LVII who almost injured Patrick Mahomes after tackling him!

    • @MrTee12
      @MrTee12 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      He wasn’t released. He was a free agent. He’s a very good player. Eagles signed him as an undrafted Free agent and he worked his way up from a Special Teams player into a respectable starter /signal caller.

    Resigning Ogunjobi was a must for PIT. First off, I honestly DGAF about a PFF grade for a position that’s not offensive line. Secondly, Ogunjobi was dealing with some injuries and not having TJ Watt on the Left side with him also did not help. This year he and Watt will be healthy, so expect a bounce back year from him.

    When is the narrator going to figure out that he honestly does not know what he's talking about in most cases? Dallas didn't need offensive line help mostly in the run game and that is where Smith should come and be helpful he's already taking up double teams in the preseason allowing the linebackers as well as making more favorable matchups for Micah Parsons and demarcus Lawrence so yeah he's probably going to be a massive help

  • @BillGraper
    @BillGraper ปีที่แล้ว +1

    You have no idea what Elijah Moore is going to do for the Browns offense. He was underutilized in New York. He's making some unbelievable catches in practice, and he's very fast. The Browns are designing plays for him, which include the running game. He's going to be super dynamic in Cleveland. I guess if that's the bad thing we did in the offseason, the Browns are in great shape!!! ALSO, Hopkins didn't want to be signed that early. He was available for months for a reason.

      As a Pats fan, I haven't. What TPS neglected to say is that while both contracts (Meyers and Juju) look the same, they aren't the same. Juju's contract is much more incentive heavy than Meyers' contract. TPS also called Juju a "proven #1 receiver" when talking about KC letting him go (while ignoring KC's cap situation) yet said Juju had to prove himself a #1 receiver with the Pats.

  • @beardddown

    The Will McDonald IV selection looked bad at the time for it was a reach, but it's hard to doubt a guy who wears 99. That's just the truth. Unless if you're Javon Kinlaw or not an early pick. And by the way, you can never have too many pass rushers so while it's a reach, it should help the Jets out a lot. And he has looked really good in the offseason. By the way, if they took an offensive lineman, they would've reached. The best 4 offensive lineman were already off the board when they picked so picking someone like Anton Harrison also would've been a reach.

    I don’t dislike the Brenton Strange pick up for the Jags. The real mistake was giving Engram that extension deal.
    Yeah he had 700+ yards last season, and was 4th out of all TE’s in that category… But 275 of those yards were from just two big games. The rest of the year wasn’t impressive at all.
    9 games under 30 yards. 6 of those games between 4-16 yards. A total of 4 TD’s that all came from only 3 games.
    He still has issues with drops too, & is clearly not too special when it comes to blocking.
    The Jags should’ve still used the pick on something other than a TE, but I really don’t think Brenton Strange was their worst off-season mistake. Especially if he proves to be a better blocker than Engram, which is entirely possible.

    The Bears are more than a year from being Super Bowl contenders. They can't address all their problems in one offseason, especially after being the worst team. I swear, if they addressed edge, they would've been criticized by TPS for not addressing the o line. They addressed the o line, wr room, secondary, and linebacker unit in one offseason, and hence couldn't address the defensive line. And Yannick Ngakoue will help the edge group, not to mention the defensive tackles they drafted are capable of becoming a sack/pressure generating unit. And with the Jets, "they should have just drafted an offensive linemen instead of Will McDonald"
    They were going to....until Pittsburgh traded up and took the last great one. Anton Harrison was the next tackle at 27 and Steve Avila was the next interior linemen at 36. Drafting either at 15 would be almost as big a reach as Washington Drafting Emmanuel Forbes over Christian Gonzalez at 16

    • @demonslayer1601
      @demonslayer1601 ปีที่แล้ว

      emmanuel forbes was a slight reach at most. Apparently the giants and cowboys were going to pick him if he fell to their pick

      @husainhaji2122 the reach with Forbes is moreso that Christian Gonzalez was still on the board

    Whos the 2nd “good” rb on the lions? The lions had to of known Swift was leaving so calling Gibbs a bad pick is just stupid. Y’all need to get new writers or educate yourselves FFS

    Seriously? Jahmyr Gibbs is the bad move for the lions? Detroit realized that, while Montgomery is a great run oriented back, Gibbs is more all around in terms of his play.

      There’s nothing to say he won’t sign before the start of the season (which I believe will happen) this is just lazy writing, honestly he should have picked on us for letting bell or Perine go

      Rumors are they’re working down to the nth detail to get Joey B paid and still keep enough cap room to keep the team competitive. Specifically having enough to resign Boyd at the same time. Burrow wants to be in Cincinnati and Cincinnati wants Burrow. Mike Brown knows this and knows that he’d have an armed mob outside his door if it doesn’t happen…lol.

    Cowboys was an L take. We had a pretty bad run defense for most if not all of 2022. We needed a dominant run stopper to add to the defensive line and he was the best player available for that need.

    The packers weren't wrong for trading away Rodgers. They didn't make the playoffs last year with him, so what's the loss in letting him go? If you don't make it without him there's no drop off there. I agree they could've gotten way more for him. But after a mediocre season and basically ghosting them in the off season, I would've moved on too.

    The Vikings inherited Cook. You can't blame them for cutting Cook with the RB market. Regardless, the team knows they need to retool to compete and shedding some vets may be the way to go. They still have Mattison and they'll get some production from Dewayne McBride. Not to mention the offense in the same system should still be good. It's hard to imagine they'll have enough luck to get to 13 wins though. I think they know that.

    For the Chiefs no doubt is letting Orlando Brown go. Not only did they lose their best offensive tackle, but they also allowed him to sign with their rival the Cincinnati Bengals.

      For all the times that TPS has castigated Kansas City for not signing him, it’s very peculiar that they chose JuJu Smith-Schuster instead. I don’t recall them giving that much discussion at all prior to this

      Kc didn't lose thier best offensive Lineman. They let a RT who only wanted to play LT and wanted a kings ransom to let speed rushers abuse him again. I don't like paying jawaan Taylor, but I was sick of watching brown get beat off the line with his stone feet

  • @catusler

    Casual thinking releasing Cook was a mistake. Did you see what his contract was prior to being cut? Yeah he had a 1000 rushing yards, but had the lowest YPC in his career and his ROE was negative. Get out of here
