(Specifically those table shots and speeches when the flash is not on the camera!) In those cases, do you point the flash directly at the subject at a 45 degree angle or bounce off the roof?

One is mine and the other is my second shooter's. We were sharing the same light stand using a double bracket.

I usually set up 4 off camera flashes. And they are all used at the same time using a flash trigger!

Yes I started with canon so I kept using the same flash. Works fine! And yes I use manual, cannot trust TTL
