By the end of those 5 sub-cycles, the humans will have destroyed three buildings, driven off 5 pirate raider attacks, reanimated all the dead bodies to dance the Monster Mash, produced a dozen or so Human/Xeno offspring, and created 3 living, fire-breathing, Dragons.
Don't be silly. If you are reanimating the dead you don't have them do the Monster Mash. You have them recreate the Thriller music video. Monster Mash is for the bio-engineering team making new composite life forms.
They should send those new arrivals back. If they are re-watching season 8, there's something wrong with them. That was the one where the producer just stopped caring, and didn't have the original material to go off anymore. In one episode, you can see a coffee cup on the table.
