Today, after after much searching, Pottery Barn has provided a comforter pattern to replace my beloved Carolyn Rollings print. Though I appreciate the drama of your black, white and occasional blue color schemes, I enjoy a garden look in our bedroom. With a house of boys for years, it has been my retreat, even now that they are grown. A floral print offers so many opportunities for wall colors, window treatments and mattes for art and photos.

After seeing the boys rooms and now your daughters I am inspired. My soon to be 14 yr old son has been in the same room his whole life. To move to a new house and have a new space it big for him. Still boys will be boys and to say his room ALWAYS looks messy is a true understatement. I am going to do a mood board and try to think through all the zones like you have. He needs all the 3 same zones as your daughter but he is still looking for his style. His day to day life is so super busy that he is always trying to find minutes just to "chill" as he calls it. For our new home that is coming with a great family room, we have decided to try to get the electronics out of all our bedrooms. Thank you so much for the great ideas.

The gold door knob is an affordable thing that can be switched and will update the home. Also the space seems a bit over decorated, like a model home.
