I never read much about Touhou and honestly I don't plan to. There is something ... I feel like a child trying to piece together pieces of lore that I can glean from these songs. It's a really special feeling for me. Especially that after the covid pandemic I became hella callous. This is one of ... shit, two emotions that I can still feel to their full extent. Thank you. Oh. Sorry bout that. Your name made me think you did. Koishi Komeiji is the younger sister of Satori Komeiji and the Extra Stage Boss of Subterranean Animism. Due to people hating her for her mind reading powers that all satori type youkai possess, Koishi closed her 3rd eye, preventing her from reading other people's minds. However, this had the side effect that she now acts solely on her subconsciousness, and other people can only notice her if she is standing before them; as soon as she leaves their vision, people forget about them (which is why she has a status of imaginary friend with little children). When Koishi found Koishi's Mask of Hope, other people would notice her like a normal person, and even Koishi would not forget about that mask, something that is weird even for her (as "remembering" requires you to act consciously), which is why Koishi did not want to return it to Kokoro.
You must be in a huge mistake. There is *only one* Satori, named Satori Komeiji, who *never had any sister*. It seems me and RD are the only sane people here, huh.
I hadn't paid attention to the translation before. Holy damn this song is incredible. The cut ins from the other characters was fuckin glorious. So much energy and an awesome retelling of Hopeless Masquerade. I love it
Since my commentary was too long that the video description couldn't handled both translation notes and my thoughts about the song and album in genereal so I'll just go ahead and write here: And here is my favorite arrange of the album. Strange this is included as a bonus song. This is so good that it should have been included as main song in the album but I don't mind to have this kind of extra bonuses that surprises in the end when I thought the fun was almost over while listenin the last track. The reason why I love this arrange is that it's because we are experiencing the quality of Merami's vocal competence all in it's glorious form. It's already mentioned in the translation note section in the video description but she is kind voicing multiple characters through the whole song which makes it another level of being awesome vocalist. I especially love her usual Kokoro voice in this song but these lines are the one that made me feel like dancing on my chair: "Now, popularity explosion! Danmaku burst forth! O, cries of wrath! Become flowers upon this stage!" Those are catchy lines and you can't help but shake your head and tap your foot in the presence of these lively tunes. The composition of the arrangement is also superb. I'm always fan of traditional songs and rock is also one of my favorite musical genres and RD-Sounds just couldn't help himself to bring out best tunes of both genres in this song which made me respect his musical skills even more. Without doubt he is one of the creative and most skilled musican in Touhou doujin music scene and this album was one of the greatest Touhou album that was released back in this comiket for sure. And lastly I'm also planning to upload from mini album which is related to Koishi later time. Maybe I might upload it couple days later since I'm a bit tired so I'll take a break for now.

Well, most people say that she does not mention Koishi because she stolen her mask of hope and she hates her for it, even if by the end of theire second duell she points out that she no longer has any need of it so why is she constantly referring to flowers and emotions becoming flowers? As an Menreiki there isn't anything specifically tying her to flowers as symbolism and given her symbolic descriptions of the other characters that hint out specific traits, flowers are actually a huge hint... that's why I THINK SHE'S ACTUALLY REFFERING TO KOISHI WHEN SINGING ABOUT FLOWERS, BECAUSE IN HM Koishi used a danmaku made from roses which again are flowers connected to emotions, and I think she's actually dedicating this song to Koishi as well, which suggests that theire not so adverse to each other as most fans believe, I frankly believe upon watching theire exchange in HM that they actually became good friends, which is palpable because both of them actually study under Byakuren, and have a similar experience as Yokai, hence they can actually relate to each other the most, so it might make sense for her to include hidden lines understandable exclusively to both of them.
"Do not bear a grudge, Menreiki!" - Kokoro is a Menreiki and she held a grudge on Koishi for stealing her Mask of Hope.. Why would she say that to herself? Unless: she was acting as Koishi and Koishi's point of view was not exaggerated at all.
Diao ye zong really NAILED the lyrics holy shit. It fits REALLY MUCH with the description from Forbidden Scrollery that tells the play is a caricature about Reimu and the other religious war participants. 10/10 song. Crazy and fantastic

I hadn't paid attention to the translation before. Holy damn this song is incredible. The cut ins from the other characters was fuckin glorious. So much energy and an awesome retelling of Hopeless Masquerade. I love it
Since my commentary was too long that the video description couldn't handled both translation notes and my thoughts about the song and album in genereal so I'll just go ahead and write here:
And here is my favorite arrange of the album. Strange this is included as a bonus song. This is so good that it should have been included as main song in the album but I don't mind to have this kind of extra bonuses that surprises in the end when I thought the fun was almost over while listenin the last track.
The reason why I love this arrange is that it's because we are experiencing the quality of Merami's vocal competence all in it's glorious form. It's already mentioned in the translation note section in the video description but she is kind voicing multiple characters through the whole song which makes it another level of being awesome vocalist. I especially love her usual Kokoro voice in this song but these lines are the one that made me feel like dancing on my chair:
"Now, popularity explosion!
Danmaku burst forth!
O, cries of wrath! Become flowers upon this stage!"
Those are catchy lines and you can't help but shake your head and tap your foot in the presence of these lively tunes.
The composition of the arrangement is also superb. I'm always fan of traditional songs and rock is also one of my favorite musical genres and RD-Sounds just couldn't help himself to bring out best tunes of both genres in this song which made me respect his musical skills even more.
Without doubt he is one of the creative and most skilled musican in Touhou doujin music scene and this album was one of the greatest Touhou album that was released back in this comiket for sure.
And lastly I'm also planning to upload from mini album which is related to Koishi later time. Maybe I might upload it couple days later since I'm a bit tired so I'll take a break for now.
Phoenix Kappashiro sorry to say this but i couldn't understand some of the words because the translation is somewhat wrong but good job this song is so good. Btw my best part of the song is

Well, most people say that she does not mention Koishi because she stolen her mask of hope and she hates her for it, even if by the end of theire second duell she points out that she no longer has any need of it so why is she constantly referring to flowers and emotions becoming flowers? As an Menreiki there isn't anything specifically tying her to flowers as symbolism and given her symbolic descriptions of the other characters that hint out specific traits, flowers are actually a huge hint... that's why I THINK SHE'S ACTUALLY REFFERING TO KOISHI WHEN SINGING ABOUT FLOWERS, BECAUSE IN HM Koishi used a danmaku made from roses which again are flowers connected to emotions, and I think she's actually dedicating this song to Koishi as well, which suggests that theire not so adverse to each other as most fans believe, I frankly believe upon watching theire exchange in HM that they actually became good friends, which is palpable because both of them actually study under Byakuren, and have a similar experience as Yokai, hence they can actually relate to each other the most, so it might make sense for her to include hidden lines understandable exclusively to both of them.
"Do not bear a grudge, Menreiki!" - Kokoro is a Menreiki and she held a grudge on Koishi for stealing her Mask of Hope.. Why would she say that to herself? Unless: she was acting as Koishi and Koishi's point of view was not exaggerated at all.

Diao ye zong really NAILED the lyrics holy shit. It fits REALLY MUCH with the description from Forbidden Scrollery that tells the play is a caricature about Reimu and the other religious war participants. 10/10 song. Crazy and fantastic
