Taking place almost entirely in Europe, Season 3 of Atlanta finds “Earn” (Donald Glover), “Alfred ‘Paper Boi’ Miles” (Brian Tyree Henry), “Darius” (LaKeith Stanfield) and “Van” (Zazie Beetz) in the midst of a successful European tour, as the group navigates their new surroundings as outsiders, and struggle to adjust to the newfound success they had aspired to. Donald Glover serves as Executive Producer, along with Stephen Glover, Hiro Murai, Stefani Robinson, Paul Simms and Dianne McGunigle. Atlanta is produced by FX Productions.

@@palestinalibre4 The Dutch system is not about punishment, it's about rehabilitation. they actively work to educate and train the prisoners so they can reintegrate into society. They had to close down some prisons because they don't have enough prisoners.
all my dutch folks know this is exactly what dutch jail is like. it's really nice and i've even heard that you get netflix minus some crime-related series.

@@cornelionsqween8028 Eh, there was a different angle to this child abuse and racism and it opened my eyes to it. It actually wasn't until two days after that I found out it was based on a real tragedy. Very sad that there's people like that. There's just an extra element of malice added when you're adopting children who weren't given the love from their own biological parents and then get abused by the people that adopted them. It's f*cked up to the 10th degree.
The difference between some European prisons and most US prisons is night and day 💀I think it's because their prisons serve more as a place for rehabilitation than punishment for certain crimes. It's a pretty unique way of dealing with delinquency imo

Everyone talking about how nice the jail is and ignoring the fact that Al still got arrested for something he didn't do, which was the women fighting.
Yeah, obviously that sucks, but the difference with American jail is that he will get tried quickly and in the mean time is detained in a comfortable environment. In America, people who are "presumed innocent" are left to languish in jail for months sometimes, under execrable circumstances, and then billed for it. While they're waiting to get tried, they often lose their jobs and get evicted, and they can even lose custody of their kids.

Yeah and they spend a whole lot less per capita on incarceration, and they have an extremely low rate of recidivism compared to the us, and they also have much lower rates of violent crime. If you set up a statistical correlation chart between all 4 of those things the correlation coefficient would be pretty high lmao.

Many years ago a friend told me about someone he knew who was bit of a junkie. He told him that he would smash a car window right in front of the cops in The Hague. They would throw him in jail for a day or two. They asked him what he wanted to eat. He then asked for Surinam fried rice and moksi metie (fusion style fried rice with grilled pork and chicken). And he got it. It's something that costs around 10 to 15 euro's depending on the portion. At that time I was studying and working at nights. I couldn't afford that kind of luxury. I honestly couldn't believe it. Worse of all, after the two days they cut him loose.
And he did it again next time he needed hot food and a place to sleep
