I just got myself a HydraDeluxe. I kinda bought it blind because of the large PolyAT keyboard. But I soon discovered that just doing my good old sawtooth Vangelis patches would not do this synth justice. I love your indepth exploration. It's completely changed my level of understanding.
I've had the HS keyboard for a year and watched a bunch of tutorial videos, however this is my favorite one yet! These are some really deep, awesome ideas for how to explore the limits of the instrument.
I love the first patch idea with the super low aliasing audio waveforms. Now I can finally make the Hydrasynth sound like my Casio FZ1 that it was meant to replace.
The last patch you play on this video has a lot of potential in an ambient soundscape. I'd love to be able to whip something up like that. Also I think its SUPER important to be able to hear something in your head and be able to create it on the synth. I think that's what separates the noodlers from the prodigies.
Well done demo! I recently did a deluxe tips and tricks live stream on my channel as well showing some other uses of the envelope trigger sources as well. Love the tones you pulled out in this video.
When I woke up this morning (in Europe), I didn't want (yet another) synth. Around noon, I had even decided on the Hydrasynth Deluxe (after considering a few tossed in a GearSpace thread, and notably loopop's videos here on TH-cam), at tea time (while watching this video in installments) I ordered the Deluxe and an e-book on synthesizers. I've got homework! :-)
(From memory, earlier today) I think that I heard "your" sounds very early in the first Hydrasynth video on loopop's channel. (That first one covers Hydrasynth Keyboard and Desktop, the second is an update covering Deluxe and Explorer.)
One last question, can the CV Mod1 input accept and amplify line level audio frequency inputs, or will it only be useful for hotter, Eurorack level sources?
Great video !! What is your impressions of the Deluxe's keybed action feeling compare to the Hydrasynth 49 keys ? ASM tell about ameliorations of keybed action.....can you confirme it ? I tested the keybed du hydrasynth 49 and i finded it very noisy and ( cheap plastic feeling )

This is next-level pulling back of the Hydra Curtain! You have evoked the lexicons of whale, deciphered the communications between celestial bodies!
Great demonstration. Thanks for sharing. Loved the last patch.

Very creative - I particularly liked the drippy arp’ed one at the end. And thanks for sharing them too!
Glad you like them :)

Wow, that's incredible! Had no idea you could make sounds like that with a synthesizer!

lol, in the hands of the right person, you can make aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaanything
@@midnightsocean2689 no you cant.
Because it’s wavetable based the possibilities are a lot more vast. It s basically a sampler and a synth hybrid
Well, try it with a washboard... ;-)
Amazing! Total space sounds! 💫

we got tons of hydrasynth content over here, dont miss Ryan's video from last year !
Wow! Love you Jacob! Great job showing us the weirdnesses! Love Perfect Circuit and --- Hydrasynth!
I really like your approach. You‘re a creativity monster.
Nick is absolutely legendary ! ! check out his patreon / personal site ! ;)
Daphne, Delia, Raymond Scott and Tom Disseveldt approve of this video 🔊💯
Really, this is THE most interesting demo I’ve seen for the hydra. 🙏👏
Very good, thanks for the tips and sounds!
This guy Hydrasynths for real.... excellent video.
There's definitely some interesting uses for the sub audio frequencies. Such a rich source of waveforms provided.
13:09 is a phenomenal patch, could be in the background of a scene of discovery, triumph, sadness.
I like Jacobs Jedi mind trick wave every time he introduces himself
Dude this is AMAZING!!!! Thanks!!!
Very nice and creativ. You're one of my favorite reviewer and your examples always sound very well. Thanks a lot.
Superb video full of ideas presented clearly
you've just sold me on this synth
Super cool. Great share thanks!!!
Nice video, thanks! New inspiration!
Patch-tastic!
Brilliant!
Thank you!
Dude! Great sound design at 13:20!
Bravo, really nice 😊
The deep space is the limit!
God I want it!
(7 months later) It’s mine!
Even God wants it :)
Excellent 👋👋
good stuff. Thanks.
Nice demo. Is this similar to a Novation Summit? Thanks.
Can you input waves/sounds from an internal source…..AND tweak the them?
Insane
3D printed Hydrasynth 642hp eurorack mount when?
Yikes you might have to get a little inventive to DIY that ;)
Can you chain explorer with the 49 keys Hydrasynth to get 16 voices, like you can with desktop and keys version?
Brilliant ! Such a good tutorial of the unusual corners of this synth. 👏👍 who needs a Lyra8 with feedback patching like this ! 😲
how might i setup a just intonation for the blat major scale?
Drink every time he says 'super'.
Oh, it’s a device to communicate with Godzilla!
Can you use the headphone out for feedback loops?
Hi, is it able to do some crasy and melankolian flute sound? I'm so into the flute sounds. Exemple like in Enigma...shakuachi flut'isch.

is there any way to get one of the layers to modulate the other layer when in multi mode?
sounds like a soundtrack to a '50's sci-fi movie
that's exactly what we were aiming for ;)
One begins to understand why they named this after a monster
the tip using the keys at 28:30 ish was amazing!
07:50 a controlled Sample and hold?
Great video !!

This or the udo super six ?
He stresses me so much..............😤
He chills me out - and what talent!? Admire that ability…
