Question ,What do really Eritrean people get from independent 🤔 ⁉️ Freedom of speech? Freedom of movement? Freedom of doing what they want ? Our people should flow to all east African countries with out the barrier artificial boundaries. Our main port is the port of Djibouti, in near future the 2nd will be the Berbera of Somalia. The 3rd will be the Asseb of Eritrea. We use these ports only and only through the consents of the respective neighboring countries. We pray for the unity of Somalia. Signing a so called MOU with a Somali region and grabbing the Land and sea in exchange for recognition of the breakaway region as a sovereign country is illegal and will never be accepted by Somalis. It will lead to an unnecessary war between brotherly countries of Somalia and Ethiopia. My advice to Abiy is: Rescind the illegal MOU, and deal directly with the federal government. President HSM is extending his hands to our Ethiopian brothers and sisters for cooperation. Well spoken Mr President on matters Ethiopia/Somaliland but the question of forcing a partner to live with you when they clearly don't want to, needs to be evaluated because Somaliland apparently was colonized by the British since 1884 until 1960 when it became independent and only 'willingly' joined Italy Somaliland to form a country called Somalia. Surely, this was a marriage of convenience and therefore prone to divorce if one partner is no longer interested in the marriage. Eritrea was in the same situation with Ethiopia until 1993 when they decided enough was enough and opted to divorce. In the UK, Scotland has expressed their desire to divorce from the UK and this will happen at some point in future where England wants it or not. Northern Ireland is a matter of time before they hold a referendum to join the republic of Ireland.

No war, no conflict, but talk to each other, we live for each other in all terms. We respect the unity, integrity, and sovereignty of Somalia as well as Eritrea. We, east African countries support , and help each other in term of power, rail ways , high ways and other net works. We develop together. In near future we supply hydroelectricity to Somalia and Eritrea. Ethiopia has giant potential economy as well as huge population. We need various outlets. Our people should flow to all east African countries with out the barrier artificial boundaries. Our main port is the port of Djibouti, in near future the 2nd will be the Berbera of Somalia. The 3rd will be the Asseb of Eritrea. We use these ports only and only through the consents of the respective neighboring countries. We pray for the unity of Somalia. Willing to the God, the Federal Government of Somalia will be active in near future incorporating the regional governments like Baydewa, putland , Somali land and others. Our integration should be as strong as possible. Nothing can be attained from conflicts especially dirty civil war except poverty, ignorance and unnecessary sacrifice.

Signing a so called MOU with a Somali region and grabbing the Land and sea in exchange for recognition of the breakaway region as a sovereign country is illegal and will never be accepted by Somalis. It will lead to an unnecessary war between brotherly countries of Somalia and Ethiopia. My advice to Abiy is: Rescind the illegal MOU, and deal directly with the federal government. President HSM is extending his hands to our Ethiopian brothers and sisters for cooperation. Both countries can prosper together. by respecting each other’s sovereignty and by not interfering with each other’s internal affairs.

Well spoken Mr President on matters Ethiopia/Somaliland but the question of forcing a partner to live with you when they clearly don't want to, needs to be evaluated because Somaliland apparently was colonized by the British since 1884 until 1960 when it became independent and only 'willingly' joined Italy Somaliland to form a country called Somalia. Surely, this was a marriage of convenience and therefore prone to divorce if one partner is no longer interested in the marriage. Eritrea was in the same situation with Ethiopia until 1993 when they decided enough was enough and opted to divorce. In the UK, Scotland has expressed their desire to divorce from the UK and this will happen at some point in future where England wants it or not. Northern Ireland is a matter of time before they hold a referendum to join the republic of Ireland.
