I’m a residential cleaner, and I HATE dysons. The parts are expensive, cleaning it is a pain, they don’t stay charged and are hard to use. I have a shark vertex in my house (and a newer shark rocket pro) and have a roomba. They are different tools for different jobs. If it breaks, I can get replacement parts (I’ve never had one have a break that I couldn’t fix) and it has a good warranty. Better bang for your buck than a Dyson. All my clients ended up switching to sharks.
Yes! I’ve bought stuff for when I have my first apartment, or whenever I move in with my best friend. I’m still deciding. However, I only have the bare essentials I know I will use because I simply use them while living with the family.
I’ve been living on my own for 4 years now- I STILL am using my dollar store dishes i bought when I first moved out. A few of my glasses have broken but my plates and bowls are still kicking.
I love my Dyson V8 Pet. I just had to replace the battery. We bought a house and we had to graduate to a V12 because we needed a longer lasting battery. I am forever thankful for the Dyson, thank you Kyra. My V8 became my side hustle as a housekeeper tool.
What shower curtain do you use? Or recommend? We need a new one so I’ve been looking for one. The one we have is too stiff and too long for where we can put our shower curtain rod.
Totally agree on shower curtain I only have 1. I also use towels as my feet dryer when I come out the shower. Can throw them in the washer and dryer and reuse. And I have always been a germaphobe but after the pandemic I definitely have been more cautious.
I live in a 170 year old apartment in New Orleans, that’s literally less than 400 sq ft. It’s nice, has all the old woodwork and walls. You don’t need to do much for decor, just upkeep the original wood and wainscoting.
Helpful video!! So right about the king size bed and murphy oil soap. I had a thought about you while watching this. Do you ever think about how you would save more if you were still in your apartment? Everything is so much more expensive now!
Really useful but which was Part 1? 🤔 When my boyfriend andI first moved there weren't videos like this, but the apparent was too tiny we had to get rid of most of the things we already had to make room for other things we needed it 😅
The shower curtain thing depends on where you live. In California, I never had a problem, just wash once a month and all is fine, but living in Southern Louisiana this past year, it’s just pointless to try and keep things clean, it’s just impossible to keep things dry enough. It’s awful. 😩
I LOVE your clóset its really good organized, all house its see clean and ordinary, very good videos,i like very much your shues ,they are organazed very well and you dont have a lote of them thats good
Omg , Kyra I got the Dyson at the same time one week after Black Friday.. I waited so long for it to go on sale .. I was not going to pay full price and it’s still working great .
Hi Kyra! It would be super helpful if you could link other videos in a series in the description or something! I think i watched the part one but I went looking for it when I saw your video announcement yesterday and couldn't find it.
Haha we never get an actual shower curtain we only use the clear liner lol I’ve always liked California king because I sleep with my arms up & move around a lot
I know it’s common but they sell waterproof cloth shower curtains. I’ve owned ours for 7 years and save a ton of money when it comes to never replacing them unlike the plastic liners. I to thought that you needed plastic liners to keep the water in but that’s a myth, like I said one cloth shower curtain does the job very well. Most people don’t understand this.

Right!!! Lol no one ever comes over to visit. After 3 apartments, I now look for 2 dish set.

Great video! Even the plastic shower curtains get mold to prevent that it needs to be open to let it air dry. I have a reusable curtain it’s awesome.
Moving into my first apartment in a week! This video is indeed for me specifically the cleaning stuff.
Thank you Kyra ❤
I 100% back up what you said about the shower curtains and the bed size bed.

This was great Kyra! Thank you for your hard work!!
Moving into my first apartment in a month! This video came at the perfect time.
I'm moving tmr
Hows it going for you guys? Any advice? I'm still pretty far from getting an apartment/house but I wanna be prepared earlier :)
Yayyyy I always wait for your videos❤
Hi Lori
I'm going to buy a Japanese futon mattress for when I move to my own apartment, I can fold it away and it takes up less space

Hi, I just wanna say I really enjoy ALL your videos, thanks for creative this useful content
Just commenting to boost this video. I hope Milo will get the treatment he needs and that he gets well soon.
Haha we never get an actual shower curtain we only use the clear liner lol I’ve always liked California king because I sleep with my arms up & move around a lot
Can u put a link to the shower curtain? It’s not in your Amazon store …
A little hack: use the camping set it's like 20$ and it has just enough for you spoons forks knife plates and bowls. Thank me later
non reusable shower curtains are a thing???
They sure are here's the link for the one I own amzn.to/40qDFzB. No need for plastic liners and you can just throw them in the wash once a month.
I remember when I had my first appartment I had set of 4 mugs, plates etc. Enough
Hi waiting on your video 😊
I definitely think plastic shower liners are necessary to prevent water from leaking out, it’s pretty common :’)
