I'm watching this in October 2024. We have lost Kris and Toby and maybe a few others, but I just saw Willie at a Harris rally singing Mamas don't let your babies grow up to be Cowboys and he is 91. Lots of cool people in this video! Burlington Bill busking on the road and here on You-Tube.
I just love Kris. When alone I my car driving I listen to his songs over and over. Never get tired. What a life the man has lived. Thanks Mr. Kristofferson for the joy and beauty you brought to my ears.
I’ve felt that Willie’s stylings held a special key to my complicated existence going back to the 60s. I once had the opportunity to sit and talk with him after one of his shows. He did not disappoint. He really is that fella
Willie ❤ I’m from Germany, just got 32 years old today and it would be such a pleasure to see him live once! It’s so crazy realizing him being 91 and still on stage. My grandma passed away in September last year, she was one year older than him (that’s so mind blowing!). By the way, just seen Judas Priest this year, Rob did an amazing job. The last few of those real legends are still here on this planet. We have to take the chance to see them at least once, if possible somehow!

My condolences to Willy on the loss of his precious sister. I loved it when I heard her play the piano st one of his concerts in Santa Barbara, CA. Her playing was so energinic. I felt privileged to hear her play.

Wow! What a tribute to Waylon!!! GREAT country music... and in my opinion, a rarity these days! Man, that double bass has the best sound. That timbre is hard to duplicate and can only be delivered by wood!!!
It seems that screaming over the sound of the music is the "in" thing now. Scream when they're done singing, but during the show, be courteous and let us all enjoy the music. :)
Great to see Willie and the ensemble singing this old classic. I was blessed to make it down there with my wife and folks and watch RWH play there. Long live Luckenbach!
Allison Kraus conducted herself in the presence of greatness as well as anyone could. She seemed to be aware more than anyone of Willie and held her voice in awe.
