I heard this when it released. I was watching TV in jail in Newark Ohio. I started crying and had to get up and go to my cell. It reminded me of my dad, a huge Willie fan, and I was so sad I disappointed him. Music can be so inspiring and powerful.
I have blue eyes, and I have cried my fair share over the years! Married at 16, husband drafted to Vietnam! My life has been far from easy, but still hanging on!

Life as hard back then, dealt with drugs, a mistress and a son by them, 6 weeks before our daughter was born! He passed in 2005! I met someone, spent 22 years together! He;s been gone 5 years! I live 5 minutes from daughter and granddaughter!

My 8 year old son is on the ASD spectrum and he was having a meltdown there and he wanted to stand in the rain as he said it looks like tears. I swear, I’m crying as I wrote this because he’s my blue eyed baby and I’ve blue eyes. It’s been my favourite song since my childhood too. 🖤

I was very lost for a long time when I hadn’t got the kids around me and I was in such a low that I had awful things going through my head. I Concur with Everything Carolyn McCloskey has said. I have yet to see Shania Twaine But Have seen Willie Nelson who co stared with Packie Byrne and Bonnie Shaljean. When I was in the pub trade in my local town. They were BRILLIANT. The show was EXCEPTIONAL
Actually, it was really ruined by his guitar. If you were playing the guitar or guitar-alike instrument, you could easily spot, and be distracted and irritated by his inability to play with the rythme, and the solo was... funny. I love Willie but here he is only a shadow of himself. I can't enjoy this one, even being as high as he always is 🤣

Actually, it was really ruined by his guitar. If you were playing the guitar or guitar-alike instrument, you could easily spot, and be distracted and irritated by his inability to play with the rythme, and the solo was... funny. I love Willie but here he is only a shadow of himself. I can't enjoy this one, even being as high as he always is 🤣

With a gem of a song like this, done by everybody, it's hard to say "that's the best version"...but this one I think is the one. Might be her best performance. Perfection if it is to be had. Wow. Still makes me cry and I saw them do it on the original broadcast.
