    The contrary of your book is astonishing to me. It lets me know what I already know, you lived this through God and God is with you. Long live the tree, his family. I wanted to make you a rock but the tree shall give and receive Gods Grace more so then rock or any other.

    Always enjoy listening to your podcasts and sermons! I missed your sermon yesterday at College Station as I was in church myself when it was live-streamed. Will it be available later on your channel?

    I am wondering if Granger ever realized that he answered the second question incorrectly. The criticism for the new father came from the wife’s grandmother, not the wife. Granger did give some really good advice about marriage, but that was not the question. That is part of the reason why I like it so much when Granger has a guest with him. If he had someone on the podcast with him when he recorded this, I think they would have caught where Granger went astray from the question, and they could’ve given the guy some really good advice about how to handle the situation with the wife’s grandmother.

      @alexlubbe ปีที่แล้ว

      I agree. It was overall good advice BUT it was not the wife that said that, it was the wife’s grandmother. I think that changes the answer a bit.

      Yes, good advice but not the question.

      @@alexlubbe Yep, I was thinking that the wife needs to tell her grandmother to just mind her own business and stay out of her marriage.

      @@bowed305 - yes, especially if the wife understood and didn’t have a problem with it, then for sure.

    The grandmother should not said anything to the husband, what about what the dad was going through on not being able to be there for his wife and new baby in the NICU

  • @karenseay2225
    @karenseay2225 ปีที่แล้ว +12

    Granger, you misunderstood the question. It was not wife who was upset. It was the wife's grandmother that was upset and accusing him of not being there for his wife. And as much as the wife's grandmother DOES owe him an apology, he will likely never get it. You answered him wrong. The issue was not between he and his wife but he and the wife's grandmother.

    • @Threelittlebirdz-xk7xn
      @Threelittlebirdz-xk7xn ปีที่แล้ว +2

      If he forgives the grandmother they both win, forgiveness is loving and asking for her to apologize is selfish

    • @qrtrhrsenut
      @qrtrhrsenut ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Yes, he missed who was critical of his actions.
      I agree that the grandma-in-law was out of line. Just because SHE didn't agree with his priorities he did make the right decision, in my opinion. The dog aside...he also said "as the sole bread winner" they were not in the financial position to not have him working during the 7 weeks that was not covered by paternity leave.
      He did the grown up thing by continue to work. She DID have the support of her family while baby was in NICU. If I am mistaken and the email didn't say her family was there then granny should've helped out her family during a stressful time. This is what families used to do for one another. Grandma-in-law sounds like a type A personality and a know it all bully.
      AND he should forgive her anyway.

      Yeah, ouch. He really missed the mark here. I feel so bad for the guy. If it were my grandmother I would tell her to stay in her lane. It's the wife's job to be that bridge between he and her grandma. 14:22
