I absolutely love your podcast and have listened since 22. Seems like only questions you answer anymore are about a breakup or something like it. I know you address it in this episode. It's just not as entertaining or helpful when it's the same thing over and over. I won't stop listening just hope you steer away from the relationship problem questions a little. Maybe only 1 per episode instead of most of the questions about this

As far as God taking our children home to him , I was mad at God and he said to me be thankful I didn’t have to let you have her at all. We fail to remember our children are gifts from God I knew about God but at that time I did not have a relationship with him I do now 12 years later.

I am grateful for this podcast. I think people keep asking the questions because they trust you and your advice. They appreciate that you aren't judging them, you are listening and that you are giving them Biblical advice. These podcasts matter, so thank you for doing them!

Reason for the same questions is the total depravity. We lie to ourselves. Jesus can only break the chains to being a slave to our sins. We Suppress the truth- st Paul . Whoever sins is a slave to sin-Jesus. No one can come to the father but by me- Jesus. We’re like little children that we teach (do not touch that! You’ll get burned! Us as adults continue to get burned and continue to turn from the truth and later go back for more! Slave to sin. Turn from your sin immediately! And trust in Jesus the messiah. The one who can break the chains, and has the authority to forgive sins. Because he took the punishment we deserve! Trust in the truth. Jesus is the truth.

Grief/heart break cry out to God. Let Him heal you as He grows you in faith leaning into Him. Trust Him to provide that "one" for you to love when the time is right.

The Puritan's believed in an ever present God. Oh to be able to feel God everywhere, in the little as well as the great, in our rising up and our sitting down, in our going out and our coming in. I cannot imagine a life more blessed or a spirit more related to the spirit of the glorified than the mind and the heart of the person who lives in God, who knows and feels that God is ever-present.
    ~C.H. Spurgeon

Granger, I love that you remind people to take care of themselves & give themselves Grace, during the struggle of loss/ grief or heartbreak. My recent personal experience, I removed myself from the situation for a couple weeks. I couldn't eat, sleep, & struggled with work. I had to force myself to eat but I could only eat a few bites before feeling sick. I'm sure others relate. It's week 4 now and I'm doing better. Even worked out a couple times which is so good to do when processing loss of any kind. Working out helped the insomnia immediately. I have been in almost constant prayer. Praying for clarity, strength to get through this, and to accept what is God's Will for my life. I know it will get better. Great podcast today. Love Bernie being on too.
I'm about to head to Texas as a pit stop to California but the route has a huge storm system & I'm pulling my grooming trailer lol. Reconfiguring my route, but where there is a will there's a way. See you this weekend. Yee Yee

As a mom, I need the Psalms every day. Even if our kids are not physically with us each and everyday, we are still moms and can grow and apply God's Word to become better ones all the time. I love that Bernie brought our anxiety back to the original sin -- does God really love me? He absolutely does. Great reminders.

Ian: We’re grandparents to two precious girls (now aged 9 & 11). We lived in Arizona and we uprooted and moved to Kentucky 8-1/2 yrs ago to be near our granddaughters.
We left all our family in Arizona, including 4 other sons, my parents, my siblings, nephews and nieces.
Do what’s best for your family through deep prayer for wisdom and guidance. God brought us here, too. We’ve been childcare for the girls until the past 1-1/2 yrs when daddy remarried and they all moved out of our home. They all moved in with us following their parents divorce.

I’m going through a break up with my kids father. I never dreamed this would happen but we couldn’t communicate at all. I’m trying to give it to God and not worry. It’s very hard because I don’t think I would have had kids with him if I didn’t think we would do life together. I’m thankful for my kids and maybe this is his plan.

Well said on Williams family! My grandpa started dating a woman 1 year after my grandma passed away. Which is totally fine but his behavior started changing after dating this woman. He started lying to us became very materlistic talked about how much money this woman has, etc. We tried explaining we notice his behavior has changed and not for good and he ignored us. 😔

I needed to hear this. I was interested in a female coworker and i just felt things were not right. I basically put the brakes on the pursuit. Later we chit chat on some days and she replied i scare her because she said i was too nice sometimes. So i knew something might be wrong with her?

No we are not a feelings based people now, we've always been! It's technology is in a lot of parts of our life and it has become unknowingly cruel because it had no feelings with its algorithms. So we were able to ignore stuff before but technology like an unemotional machine that mowes people down on a battle field can do the same to us on an emotional level too. Don't get to addicted to technology
