    This is the problem with with most demo videos out there. They would waste precious demo time talking and playing the most worthless stuff the instrument has to offer. Rather utilize the time to show the great sounds which will make them an instant choice for those who are considering to buy it.

      The same. Montage is a great synth regarding sounds, alternative sound design etc., but it is not a workstation, so hasta la vista with that ... They just could not put a normal sequencer inside, well they have time:)) maybe in 10 years they can manage:))) Korg Kronos is great. Has it all. If you want to work, play like a pro, this is the thing.

    I just got the KRONOS but i trying to get into the pattern sequencer mode.. meaning i want to make different pattern sections which makes up the full song which allow me to control each section of my progression... can you show that? On the motif it's very easy to make pattern sections...you have pattern A - P which you can put the intro on A, Verse on B, Chorus on C, Bridge on D...etc... It's very hard to figure that out on the kronos...let me know.thanks

    I've been gigging with the Triton Extreme 76 and the N264 76 since 2004 as a single act. There is no doubt in my mind that the Kronos 88 will be my workstation upgrade. I love the op system layout, the sound engines and the great keyboard action. Korg really blew the competition away with this monster. Thanks Rich Formidoni, love your tutorials.

    • @lordmusician
      @lordmusician 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Sorry sir, but you are wrong, financial statistics speaks for itself, until this day, Kronos is one , if not, the best workstation in the market, you can even bring the new Roland fantom, and is not even full product yet, yes, it has a better easy and interactive interface screen, but check the specs from both products, korg still has the upper hand, sound wise, both still are in great market, so it’s a matter of opinion that you feel that way

Or is it recommended to turn it off ? Please guys let me know your advice ? BTW I found Korg's MFX Reverb adds Shine to its patches/instruments. Very curious to know if that creates any problems while mixing. Thanks in advance

    I don't really want a workstation in 2019 or to work with a small screen, let alone a touch screen. I'd rather connect a keybard to the computer and view everything in big display with a psychical keyboard. Workstations like the kronos seem dated in 2019. I bet the next korg flagship will be nord stage like but with stronger synth engines. It's like playing a video game using a touch screen rather than a joystick or physical keyboard and mouse - extreme handicap feeling.

      Agreed 100%. My friend has an M3 module, I played a lot with it, didn't like it, design wise it's tedious and I know its got older sounds than the Kronos but I didn't like M3 sounds what so ever. They were bad.

      OS upgrade is free and the new sounds available for purchase at the Korg sound store.
