It's a privilege to play for animals because they genuinely come to you and listen to your music without talking and constantly scrolling at their phone. Just taking every moment watching and enjoying you play.

A bunch of people setting up their instruments, wearing a neck tie and playing some soothing music in the middle of a field and then seeing cows come and enjoy the music from up close is some of the heartwarming stuff I want to see more on the internet.

Over 40 years ago while working on the railway at a level crossing in the middle of nowhere I began rehearsing my role of Figaro. All the cows in the field next to my hut made their way to me and stayed bunched together until I finished. They were a wonderful and appreciative audience.

I help our neighbor on his farm, I was really surprised how inquisitive and intelligent the cows are. They aren't stupid, that's for sure.
That was wonderful. You drew a great crowd of cows, you even showed them respect by dressing up for them. I am not a cow, I must tell you that performance deserved a standing ovation. My late mother told me about her father who always played country music on his radio in the dairy barn. He said his cows always gave more milk listening to country music than with any other type of music.
