I feel the same way. Most of the time i only get to play on weekends or very rarely after work on a weekday. So the amount of game time is very much on the light side.

It’s crazy how much you’ve improved since I started watching you. I have 5 4ks and 4 20 badges so I’m kind of a nerd at apex. Haven’t got to play this season because I moved states and don’t have internet yet but I get my fix watching you. You are humble with it. I know I’m gonna be dogshit when I get back and all I can hope is when I solo queue is I get a few teammates like you

@@ammoTP no smurphing lol. My total kills is around 25k, and little under 4.0 K/D. I can’t remember my exact numbers cause it’s been like 6 months since I’ve gotten to play. I guess I could check on apex tracker but it never has the right numbers. I was a 2k player for the entire 1st year almost and then one day I just started poppin off, had really good teammates that motivated me and we all got extremely good together. I remember when my buddy got his first 3k and I was kinda triggered about it and got one the same day. Then we just started going back and forth like that until we had multiple 4ks and 20s. It was friendly competition that ended up making a killer squad. I can’t wait to get my internet back. I’m missing out on crossplay and all the new stuff 😢 I haven’t even got to use the volt yet lol

I HATE premade droppers. Like if someones going to play with a friend, atleast PING where you’re going so I know to follow you instead of suddenly realising Im alone. When ever Im in premade I talk in chat and make sure our team mate is feeling good (complaments, call outs, etc).

The struggle with randoms is definitely a constant, I'm always so thankful to have my 2 teammates when they're available. Love the little dig at the Gold rank haha, I'm gold rank and we definitely shouldn't be giving advice yet!

Have started playing ranked because of teammates leaving when they get killed even after I defeat a squad and pick up my teammates banners xD

My mate and me said the exact same thing last night when we were climbing in ranked too. We usually get to plat no problem and pretty fast but we're struggling a bit this split, and we think we've improved as players as well.

Also ranked mode has felt more difficult this season to the point where I've considered giving up on it. On the plus side, duos mode is way more active since cross-play arrived!

This season is harder. I made it to Diamond last season (so happy), but I've been stuck at Plat 4 for a long, long time now. I figured it was because all the Diamonds and Predators were in the lobbies for the first couple weeks (I play the Tokyo servers)--but nothing has changed. I'm sure those guys have ranked up out of Plat, but I'm still getting nowhere. Love the videos: same age, same time on Apex, feels good to hear someone similar.

I've noticed it's been slower to rank up this season. Thought so last split, but put that down to taking a break so started in silver as opposed to gold this time around. Your vids still awesome. So relatable. Makes the solo queue more bareable knowing I ain't the only one with such randomness 😂👌
Ranked has definitely been harder for me as well to get into plat and beyond. Gold started feeling like last seasons platinum.

Rag Tagg, in your Chapter 3 journey, I actually agree with your wraith teammate. My strategy is generally "find weapons/armor and hide." My dedicated squad actually find a lot of enjoyment ninja-ing around the Apex maps and escape right under our pursuer's noses. As a piece of that, we engage only when necessary. Otherwise, we find more joy securing a Championship than we are with the highest amount of kills ;)

This season split has been SUPER tough, I feel like I got to plat rather fast before the split... maybe it’s Kings Canyon I don’t know dude. Love this style of video though man!

Ranked has been unbelievably sweaty this season, even pubs has been kinda rough. Consistently queueing up with 20k+ kill players and sweating out four kills like a scrim. But liked the confidence and music at the end of that my guy

Just started the video, but yes, yes, and yes to all of what you just said. I made it to Gold myself and realized how much harder it is, and I'm not even gonna try for Plat. If I stop having fun, I stop playing. Lately I've just been playing trios or Flashpoint. And some of these crossplay random trios seem to be terrible. I don't know if they're children or just outright idiots but I get so frustrated. I really don't like to be the one to have to carry a team. I can barely carry myself. I tried switching off of crossplay and it was like crickets in the lobby. Anyway, stay positive, I'm trying to do the same.
Ranked has definitely felt like more of a grind this season. I made it to platinum last split and tbh ranked was feeling so sweaty that I haven't really felt like playing since the split, battle pass and event track done I've been enjoying rogue company just waiting for the Halloween event to start.

Yeah ranked has been alot harder for me because last season I was 200 points away from diamond when my xbox broke (7 days left) and now I can hardly make it to plat 4 even though I feel like I've gotten back into my previous skill set nearly

I have completely given up on ranked. I'm in Gold II and cannot get out of it. I made Plat II before the split and now I feel like I'm getting matched up with thirsty predators that smell my fear from across the map! I know I'm a solid platinum player, I usually get there and then plateau and can't get out of it. Which is fine for me. But this ranked split has been so difficult that it was putting a salty taste in my mouth for Apex in general so I stopped. I'm glad you finally made it there, though! The struggle is real.
Ranked is kicking my ass. I play solo but I’m having fun especially when I get a win.
Gutter tier/bog average player here. I find getting to Plat pretty easy, especially if once you reach gold, you avoid hot dropping and generally try to last until the last 5 squads. I'm a passive player so I am happy to do that. However I find that once in plat, its fully of sweaty tryhard's that scream down the mic at you if your team ends up getting the dreaded -36 points, and its full of players/squads better than me. Solo queueing isn't an option unless your a very good player happy to carry others. I found Bronze-Gold great fun but as soon as you hit plat, it becomes a toxic grind. Peace :) Captain_Krotch
I found second split this season horrible. Got to plat easy as hell first split, second split has just had the most incompetent players ive met in ages. Also, KC doesn't really work as well for ranked. Third parties are way to easy to do
Honestly I usually go full out aggro and actually almost got my first 20 bomb while in gold aswell as a 3k and that was after not playing at all this season until 60 something days left
pretty much. plat is where the fun ends for solo queuers (unless you're really good, in which case, that'll be D3).

I took a whole off of apex came back ready to play ranked and didn’t know it was day 1 of this recent split. Mostly soled to plat then the lobbies turned into what seemed to be pred lobbies that early in the split. Still the plat lobbies seem more difficult than usual

Hey Rag Tagg, I played alot of Apex from the beginning to about season 3 is when I stopped playing consistently. I got to Diamond 3 in Season 3 just playing with randoms, many times with no comms. I just starting playing ranked again consistently and I just got into Platinum 3, I must say it is definetly harder than It use to be. I still run with randoms but I am hoping to at least get to diamond. It is difficult though I don't have nearly as much time on my hands as I use to.

Ranked was a grind until cross play kicked in (I'm a console player). Now the added player counts lobbies are pretty much the same level of ranked, not much Gold/Plat/diamond mixes.
I just went plat 4 tonight. Haven’t been bothered to touch it for the longest time, but thought it would be a fun challenge to make it into plat before the season reset.
I either get squaded with people thst are so good that I cant keep up, or people that cant keep up.
