I was there this year with my partner, it was our first year and something of a spur of the moment decision, but we had lots of fun. So much so that I've managed to secure tickets to both the 2023 LM24 and the 2023 LM24 Classic, both with camping and grandstand (T15 for both). The twist is this time we won't be taking her Honda Civic (which was faultless and economical as always), we're going to try and do both in my Ford Capri 2.8 Injection SPecial (if it leaves the workshop in time!)
Hi buddy, loved the video. I’m going this year and I’m camping in Prairie. Roughly how long do you reckon it’ll take to get to the track and the village and any other bits you recommend? On a side note are there any spots you would recommend to watch the cars from apart the grandstand? Cheers 👍
Glad it helped. You're not too far from the action there (looking at a map), so shouldn't be too long at all for you. It's such a huge site I would spend time to explore. Get down to the last corner before the Mulsanne straight and look back up at the Dunlop bridge - view there is fantastic.
Thanks for the response ill take your advice. One more question. I’ve got a 35m2 pitch for my tent and car. Three of us are going. Do you think the one plot will be fine or will it be a bit snug?
Ticking it off my bucket list next June. Bringing kids so wont be camping. Will be in and out each day. thanks to this video i will be bringing ear protectors 🙂 for the boys. And maybe myself. Question for anyone who can answer. Can you bring electric scooters into the event.? I believe Mulsanne corner is an hour and a half walk from entrance. And can anyone recommend a nice safe area to sit and watch it if not in the grandstand?
Hope you enjoy it! It's an amazing experience, and pretty sure I saw folk whizzing about on all sorts out there including e-scooters. Issue is going to be charging them if needed.
Id love to do this. All the footage though, is that with general admission. And also, do you havecany idea how much it is to go on the ferris wheel. Coz i think yhat at night would be awesome

Now that would be a car to travel down in! I'll keep my fingers crossed it's ready in time! Good luck!
This is on my Bucket List. Looks and sounds amazing.
The sound is like nothing else!

How did you find the walk to the event village from the campsite . I’m staying at the same site 2023 . How long did it take etc
It's approx 20 mins to the perimeter but be prepared for lots of walking, we did about 27 miles over the weekend!
I’m going to go this year ,
One question what is tiger tape ?
Enjoy! Just that stripey tape you sometimes see round roadworks 💈

Most of that footage is general, some areas / grandstands are restricted depending on your pass.
