Why should you set sag first before adjusting rebound and compression? Here's the answer plus the baseline suspension issues common to all Ducati 899 Panigales.
Front end was bent?
Gidday team at dmt was just wondering about suspension on an rc390 i am putting a nitron r1 shock in the rear but it feels like the font is far to soft so i was thinking 15w oil in the front?
15w oil to 130mm oil gap!
@@catalystreactionsbw thankyou very much keep on making great videos!!!

Williams, replying here. Yep, one of my granddaughters is in cosmetology school. Grandpa guinea pig.
@@catalystreactionsbw thats very nice of you lol
Dave Moss Tuning hahaha
Hey Dave, Just curious if you have worked with any of the new Ninja 400's? How are they with stock suspension on track?
We change the fork oil to 15 or 20w immediately for a 160lb plus rider based on ability. 150lbs or less is 10w. oil lasts around 6-8 track days and then needs changing. Shock is very good for heavier riders.
@@catalystreactionsbw I'm 205 suited up but I don't think i'm to the limit of getting a cartridge kit yet. I will play with the fork oil and eventually upgrade. Thank you!
@@stewy1024 True - springs and emulators would be enough :)
Any brand suggestions?
@@stewy1024 Maxima or Motul - both are readily available.
