Where the P60 Pro is using the Snapdragon CPU the P50 Pro is using the Kirin CPU as it is the chinese model that I own.

Currently using p40 pro+ with p50 pro as my daily driver right now that is my profile pic..what i can say P40 pro+ is still a powerful device even its a flagship from march 2020..the best is it still get june 2023 update last week😉

From the Huawei launch presentation of the p60 pro, you'd have thought it will put a DSLR to shame so to see it lose in many aspects to the p50....bit dissapointing.

The monochrome module at p50 pro should show a better result in shooting poorly lit objects. Since the area of each photosensitive element (pixel) is larger, and the lens aperture is 1.6. I think that the monochrome photo made by p50 pro will surpass the bright lens of the main camera p60 pro in terms of detail. Unfortunately, no one has conducted such comparisment.

I'm very impressed by the low light and macro capabilities of the P60 Pro telephoto camera, but was surprised to see how much worse it is for further zoom levels. However, I think the P60 Pro is still competitive in detail levels with most other telephoto modules, so I'd say it's a worthy but unfortunate tradeoff.

@@lltechview Has the telephoto quality improved on P60 Pro since the review? I wonder what causes the lack of fine details in comparison to P50 Pro. Perhaps it's the crazy wide aperture (not sure if any other phone has f/2.1 @ 90mm). Usually the fast lenses on proper cameras need to be stopped down to achieve best sharpness, so I imagine this is the problem here. If it is, then no software update will be able to solve it.

The reason why the P60 3.5x camera is so much better is because it uses a RYYB sensor, I think.
But during the say the extra 4mpx on the P50 makes a differente.
That is for sure one of the reasons. The other one is the large aperture and sensor size. All combined helps with low light
Great comparison, so the P60 pro doesn't seem like a big upgrade,the P50 pro holds up really well,in some cases it's even better.
I expected more from P60 pro.

I know, newer doesn't always mean better. I still use p20. The p30 I didn't like the camera and picture colours better, so I sticked with my p20
P50 pro Kirin is the best p50 pro version, P50 pro sd888 Isn't that good due to snapdragon is bad but p50 pro is better than other Snapdragon phones from 2022 and 2023, but when i take many photos it overheat then the Camera Quality is trash due to overheat HUAWEIs camera system is soo powerfull but when i play Genchin impact for a test it doesn't overheat , Soo i got the p60 pro sd8+gen1 and it takes really good photo it's perfect for me and no overheat issue Finally, And i don't use High res anyway, The zoom is Amazing on p60 pro, and i will use p60 pro in Many years(^～^).

Great, thx. Where do you get Info about Sensor Name & Size ? On p60 and p50 i cant find Info on gsm arena. Also i wonder why xperia 1 v can only use 12mp on main Sensor.
Kimovil and some chinese bloggers reporting about Sony IMX888 used on the P60 Pro.
As to why only 12 MP on the 1 V probably because Sony allows you to only shoot pixel binned photos
The P60 might improve.I won't be changing specs are almost the same if I were buying today I would still get the P50 used at $ 500 the P60 is currently used $700 how do they compare with the Xiaomi 12/13 ultra ?????
Hello everyone, i need review for p50 pro Snapdragon, is it that hot like most people claim since it's using SD888, I'm really confused to pick mate 40 pro or P50 pro , btw I'm using pixel 6 and I'm really hate with this phone battery and charging capabilities...
I had the P60 pro for one week and returned it because the ultrawide camera on it is a joke compared to the one from my P40 pro. Also the zoom camera was a little better on the P40 pro on long zooms. Another thing which was much better was the high res AI photos on the P40 pro, they contained much more details then the ones from the P60 pro and I like photographing landscapes with so much details. As for the P60 pro I really liked the screen brightness and colors, the fast charging and especially the speakers which sounds like a laptop speakers not a phone speakers, really impressed. Also, the P60 pro got way hotter when playing games than my p40 pro.
I'm on a P50Pro but miss my P40Pro for the selfie and night shot even on day shots P40Pro wins in details. Compared to the p40pro the P50pro is a downgrade in many département !

I have p50 pro, i think aftwr this review, i havw no motivation to change it.
P60 Pro Upgrade is Telephoto lens that is better for Portraits, macro and low light zoom shoots. You should try some human subjects and take portraits with different zoom range like 1X, 2X and 3.5X then you'll find the real difference.

@@lltechview There is always one category is missing in your videos that is Human Subjects and their Portraits. You must include it to compare different smartphones. You should include some male best friend for this.

I recommend the P50 because for the Leica optics, it is a better tool, what you do for your photos is up to you, use the strengths, weaknesses and differences in your favor, but the P50 is definitely better overall. It would be almost perfect if it had the variable aperture of f1. 4 to 4.
Amazing video... Can you tell me how to mirror screen to tv on this Device? I switched on wireless projection but that doesn't detect my tv.....

Magic Eraser needs a Google One account afaik. Otherwise wireless projection is working fine with my TV and the FireTV Stick from Amazon. Miracast needs to be supported by the TV and TV and phone need to be in the same network

@@bahurilaalmishra6986 Thats unfortunate maybe the google photos app is looking for a hardware feature or so that it does not find.
When it comes to miracast if you have a non smart tv it won't work and the chromecast dongle uses a google proprietary alternative to miracast that afaik only works with Google devices and is limited to a few apps like google photos

Hi guys! How is the P50 Pro holding up in 2024? Has anything changed with software updates, if there have been any..? I'm a Samsung fan/user but their recent designs have been uninspiring and I like curved screens so I'm thinking of getting the P50 pro to see if I can manage without Google services/Samsung Pay and if banking apps would still work.
Hi, Im still using P50 pro till this year (2024). The performance is still great and more customization due to software update. Im also also using 4 different banking apps downloaded from huawei app gallery. For google apps I'm using GBox.

@@lltechview I see you use Harmony OS in P50 Pro, last year i use P40 Pro with Harmony OS 2.0 and I have much problems with notifications, then i use emui 12 with my P50 Pro and the notifications work fine (only outlook work bad, I don't know why) but I see you use Harmony OS 3.0 in P50 Pro. You think the notifications work better than 2.0? Why I ask this? because i miss all the new microservice.

Hello everyone, I have had a P50 pro for a year, recently I bought a used P60 pro under warranty at a bargain price. So the P50 pro takes photos that are much smoother and more pleasing to the eye, the P60 pro is too sharp, and after magnification I have the impression that it is not that nice. P50 has a larger telescopic matrix - 64MP instead of 48. Night photos, of course P60, but how many photos are taken at night? The P50 is more streamlined and the screen is more curved, which is a plus. Also, no one mentions that when taking photos with the 60 pro, the battery disappears like crazy (3-4% in 5 minutes?), unless I got the wrong model. In general, I'm angry at Huawei for stopping improving the periscope zoom and it only has 3.5 where the Samsung S22 ultra +10. I'm disappointed... Generally, I have the impression that they implement newer things all the time, optical zooms like in the new series, variable apertures because they can't handle it in software, having older processors... other brands, such as the iPhone 15 pro, don't have a variable aperture and they can handle it, but where can I get it? I want to know whether in 2 years, when the warranty expires, it will not be closed completely or will be still open? Who will pay me for the repairs? What do you think, is it better to stay with P50 pro or change to P60 pro? I have to sell one of them.
Im impressed with P50 Pro i so wish i could say the same with the Global Version which im using the battery is still a disaster however I don't have a reason to upgrade to the new series
yes, I also have the global snapdragon version of P50 pro and battery is terrible, after year I barely get 4 hours screen on. But I still love it because ofits cameras, they're just insane, that's why I change it for my previous P40 Lite 😄

I have p50 pro and p60 art. I often use 10x and p50 pro Is much better than p60 arr. But the reason i hate the p60 pro/art is that it has really bad pro mode compared to p50 pro.
I knew p50 pro will destroy the P60 pro that's why i never bought it lol

videography is clear win for p50 - although I would've liked it if you also checked the videography at night.

I have many videos of mine in my channel. I still don´t feel like paying 1000+ Euros to get the little improvement I have seen.

good main camera, one of the best, bad selfie camera, average and under that Video from both side, good zoom, oversaturated and unreal photo from night mode, conclusion, good and one of the best Phone for simple photo, bad for selfie and video, like always, its not complete camera system..
