I've been sitting on the fence debating purchasing of this pedal since I viewed the first online demo. Seeing this video triggered me...............I logged into my Reverb account and purchased one. More than anything else, this video shows what a great Team you've assembled at Strymon. Thank You..............I just selected 2nd Day Air Shipping, I can't wait to use this pedal.
That Dot 335 suits her perfectly! And that beautiful double Florentine cutaway maple P90 loaded - 330? Barny Kessel? Ya'll should put up some credits listing all these great instruments!
I never cease to be amazed at Strymon....At 68 years old , still playing every weekend ... My Iridium was what i thought would be my last pedal and now the Cloudburst appears.... It is a must have even on a limited budget.... Your video of all of you playing together has convinced me , it's a must have sound...One last request , please do another video in the near future...
This is just too cool!! I have followed Strymon for years now, I'm an old greybeard 40+ year hw/sw guy, and guitarist since 1964, and I would love to have a poster of Pete for my wall! This is the hippest collection of grooves and tone ever, and the production is fabulous - so many tones and instruments, and space in the mix for everything to ring and shine! I run a main board with a ABY, A side goes thru Keeley Comp+, Teese wah, ZenDrive and Carbon copy, then off to another board with another ABY where A is my trusty old Zendrive/Delayla XL, and B is a Butler Tube driver feeding and El Cap - El Cap then feeds a Flint, and I go out to 2 amps, usually A-> BF Super Reverb, B->'70 Traynor YBA-3. Flint's '62 Harmonic Trem is the greatest! I had a '62 Pro and fell in love with that trem, ya'll captured it perfectly! Meanwhile, back on the main board, B side turns to stereo thru an Ola using envelope for speed, and tthen thru the indispensable Blue Sky, then out thru a stereo volume pedal to a pair of Vox ACs for a wet lush stereo fill. I have another board for different tones and gigs with an old OB1 feeding a Riverside talking to a Keeley Caverns. I sense that a Cloudburst might be taking the place of the Caverns. Not enough good things to say, not enough time and money to have all your pedals, but you guys and gals at Strymon are the top of the heap to me. Keep up the great work, I have a round of V2 pedals in my future as I move deeper into MIDI. Rock On, Ya'll!! jeff charles

I bought my Cloudburst when they product was announced. I was so excited to get my hands on this pedal. This video is so much fun! Between the quality of what I was hearing and just watching all the different people in the company. Wow! Thank you for making it and posting it. I've always been a Strymon fan.
I was considering to buy a cloudburst pedal and your video finally pulled the trigger for me. So convincing to see all strymon staff and managers make music and create something really beautiful together. Just ordered the cloudburst and hope to hold it in hands in a few days.
How do you like the pedal? I have been enjoying mine. Nothing really heavy, I play at church and have my Keeley Halo going through it. I use the MP setting dialed way low for just a hint of strings.

Mine arrived.......very nice reverb.......pitty that there is no dedicated volume knob for the ensemble mode..........great pedal for sure and for years!!
It's even weirder than that! It's an old US Fender Squire Bullet (belongs to Josh), and those humbuckers are actually two single coils that they smushed together over a single magnet. It shouldn't, but it plays and sounds amazing! 😜
Hmmm...The bass player did not get an introduction, nor did he demo the Cloudburst. Typical. Billy Cox got about 3 seconds of video coverage on the Jimi at Isle of Wight video. And that was a trio band, and he is one of the best, funkiest rock bass players ever. Oh well, I guess we will just get beers for the band and no chicks.
We love bass! In this case, Sean Halley who leads our marketing department, and who wrote, arranged and mixed the tune, played guitar, and shot and edited the video, also played the bass. :)

This looks like it could be great for synths. Could you make a demo video for this using synths? Also could this be manufactured for synth with 3.5 (1/8") jack's for eurorack use with a toggle switch instead of a foot switch? There are lots of effects pedals out there that synth musicians are using on their worksurfaces/ desktops that I think you could satisfy that market by making some of your pedals with the smaller jacks for the eurorack users and maybe even offer midi in/or if possible. I clicked on this video because I'm thinking of using this Cloudburst for my Moog Sound Studio 3. Have a great day!
