Hi Adam, I hope you are keeping well. It's 4.41 am and I've been having problems sleeping, too much on my mind. I found your TH-cam video Returning to a DARK Place, and it was so beautiful and relaxing. Good for the soul, Adam. Thank you so much, just what I needed to see. The world is in a mess and I despair sometimes. Thank goodness there are landscape photographers like you to show what a wonderful world it truly is. Thank you Adam. It's the 1st October, time to turn over to the next page on your calendar. Thank you Adam.
The photo in the cave you explained through looked like a zebra head on a cows body. Once you see it you can’t unsee it. Amazing photos! Your images are always incredible
Gorgeous rock formations in that cave! I enjoyed your split screen sections of pointing out the composition details through the camera's view and watching you looking at the view at the same time. Because you have such a calm demeanor it was not distracting and brought us right into the cave with you.
Psst...don't tell Gavin, but you totally deserved that award you got lol! Great photos as per usual. Love your videos and watching your videos has 100% helped with my own woodland photography.. For that I am forever grateful!
Wow that lake view at 5:40 with those reflections is absolutely stunning. Spectacular spot to camp and start the day! Loved the caves too. Such a cool spot.
Hi, Adam! Have you considered the Arca Swiss Quicklinks so you can quickly separate the Cube from the tripod for transport? I find carrying a full-size tripod with the Cube attached to the side of my Shimoda too off-balanced, not to mention, putting such an expensive head at risk of damage. I stow my Cube in the backpack until I need it.
Such an interesting "cave", and your video is as always so peaceful to watch. Especially your details about composition. Thank you for all that you do.
Hi Adam, this vid brought back a memory for me from Oct 2018 when I visited Huson after viewing your first vid on the place. The area left a very strong impression on me, I loved exploring there. However I didn't have hip waders so could only wander in so far...still, those patterns are very cool. I had one eye on exposure, the other constantly checking for cougars - I was TOTALLY creeped out by the place, but equally fascinated. Thanks for posting.
Hey. Adam! this was beautiful, hypnotic. Great images you've taken! I think this place deserves much more than few days to explore all the options. Thanks for sharing, ciao!
Hi Adam, I really really like your "Adam Gibbs Photography Quiet Light" intro logo. Did you design it and make the title in DaVinci Resolve , Premiere Pro etc.. youself or did you commission someone to do it for you? IF you did it yourself is there anyway you could share how to do it as it is a great title piece. Cheers Angelaandandrew.
Some stunning shots but you wouldn’t get me in there on my own! Only deer and hares to fear round here in Yorkshire. Talking about tripods have you checked out the Ulanzi travel (peak design copy but lighter and better)? It’s a great 2nd tripod and I’ve had my Z6ii with PF500mm on it with very little creep. Looks like they provide them to vloggers for review and offer sponsored links.
Sounds like you to bring "turd'le wax" with you next time just in case. At 15:03 i see an animal face / body on that wall. A long snout, two eyes at the top of the head and those streaks of mineral stains on the wall are its body or legs.
Absolutely fantastic Adam. I wanted to visit this site as well as the Seal Grotto when I was there last time. I was able to make it to Payzant which was beautiful. Thanks for the inspiration. Well done mate!!!
Hi Adam! Have you considered to get the Arca swiss Quick-Link Set for the cube and carrying it in the bag while hiking to the location? I have the FLM CP34 L4 (and CP30 L4) and I'm considering the Arca swiss D4 and I'm wondering how problematic is the uneven weight of the backpack caused by heavy head + tripod combination attached to one side of the bag.
I absolutely love the photo of the pattern on the cave wall with the reddish, guessing iron oxide lines. I also really like your screen within the video with you pointing to what you are composing in your photo, this is very good. Fabulous video and photos as always Adam, simply wow.
Beautiful work Adam, such a unique location. It's always a bonus when you find a camp spot so close to where you want to shoot. That lake was gorgeous, a wonderful way to spend the morning. The cave was incredible, a fantastic opportunity to play with light and shapes.
As usual, love your framing and processing touch. The photography experience along with the final image is what makes photography attractive to me. If I have to photoshop with a heavy hand, I might as well become a painter and just create the scene.
Indeed. I am seeing too many milky way photos on instagram, they have been pushed through photoshop so hard they look awful. I like the way these photos have just been tidied up.
Another excellent vid, Adam -- I really love your work and the way you present it. Also very timely; I will be heading to that corner of the planet in mid-Oct...
..love the scaffold..am a fan of abstracts so well done i say...am curious of yer pack size..want to get a shimoda but here in vancouver there is no place to see and calculate needs..im a bit of an idiot and dont like to leave too much at home...so, good video..well done
Hi Adam, enjoyed the video as always but I do have a serious question for you on Gavin. Have you been able to get any news on how they are after Fiona hit Nova Scotia? I hope he and Amanda are ok.
@@QuietLightPhoto As you were making adjustments with that geared head, I had to think about the tilt shift. Next year I might try & rent one if lensrental has one to try. Then I'll make a decision.
The weight for the most part should be on the hips, unfortunately I cant find a bag to fit my very long back. If I pull the straps in so that the pack fits higher the weight is all on my shoulders.
Sorry buddy, got bored half way your introduction, before you even start speaking. The really sad thing is that I don’t even think it is your fault, I guess I am so used to social media being immediate, you either grab the attention of your viewers or you are out that my patience for long introductory footage, unless they are really special, became to short. Still a big fan believe it or not.
Whether you really know it or not, many photographers check out your work when they need inspiration. I'm one of them.
Me too 🙂
Me too! :)
Me three!
Guilty!
Well said Darcy Guilty
The question is, was there a turd when you left Grumpton? I know how suddenly your movements occur.
Several ;-)
At 21.26 I see the head and body of a cow! Maybe just my imagination, great location.
In that first photo, and later in the 16X9, it almost looks like there is a cave painting of an animal. Amazing spot. Nice black and whites too.
Thanks
Thank you James

These pictures looked great even on 480P on a 75 inch TV.
that music in the middle is quite beautiful

really nice photos in this one, your videos always end so quickly haha

Really really enjoyed this, thank you my friend. Loved that first image :)
I enjoy the way you consider all elements in the entire frame
Beautiful images.
Many thanks!
Wonderful episode, love the black and white. Very inspiring shoot and location.
9:07 bit camp that...
lovely video and images. I've just had to sell my GFX100 and lenses as my crumbling spine made them too hard to carry around.
Fascinating spot. Great edits! I need to go back and re-watch some of your editing videos.
Wow that lake view at 5:40 with those reflections is absolutely stunning. Spectacular spot to camp and start the day! Loved the caves too. Such a cool spot.

I don’t think I’ve commented before but I really do love your work!
Great video and a fabulous location, Adam
Wow! Inside the cave images are stunning. My other favourite is your first image of trees, lake and mist. Very special.
Outrageous Adam! Some of the most dynamic shots in a while. I loved this video, thank you so much. Some special special shots.
Thanks Adam, you're persistance inpsires is all to find our own man caves. I always love your honest and inspiring videos
These are awesome photo’s Adam. Great work. Thnx.

The intro was splendid. Photos and compositions exquisite!
What a place you live in. Here there would be so many people. Cheers
Many thanks!
Hey. Adam! this was beautiful, hypnotic. Great images you've taken!
I think this place deserves much more than few days to explore all the options.

Oh Adam, if there is no turd, the beast is hungry ;-)
Great video. From my point of view you should scout the lake, it looks very nice.

I was but turned it down. Reviews for free kit is not worth for me. The tripod looked okay but I found it way too short.
Love the last image, thanks!
Another very interesting lesson with such good results...thank you Teacher :-)
I don't know whether it is the cave is beautiful or Adam frame the shot so perfect thus making it look amazing on my screen!

Great spot to photograph. So much detail in the rock. AND... I got my hat yesterday! Cheers!
Excellent! thanks for grabbing a hat.
Lovely work buddy! Very clever chap at picking them details out

yes it can be a bit of a problem swinging around. Good idea on the clamp.
Loved this. Reminded me of nearby caves that I need to visit again
Fantastic video Adam the patterns in the caves look amazing all photos are excellent thank you for sharing your video
Stunning abstract pictures, stunning place!!! I´m completly in love with this work!!! Congrats!!!!
Thank you very much!

Not this time

Beautiful, thanks for the composition lessons, Adam
Great video and use of the dry weather conditions. Amazing place 😃

That Gavin Guy had to move. He could be making beautiful photo's like ths 😆😆😆😆😆
I love all videos very amazing.
Beautiful work Adam, such a unique location. It's always a bonus when you find a camp spot so close to where you want to shoot. That lake was gorgeous, a wonderful way to spend the morning. The cave was incredible, a fantastic opportunity to play with light and shapes.
Yes the lake certainly was a nice spot to stay, thanks Andrew!
Inspiring work Adam. I love it when you share how you see the image. I also enjoy seeing the raw to processed transition.
Graphic design by nature and you captured it beautifully
Thank you! Cheers!

Great video Adam! Love the rock formations. Very surreal. Almost mystic.
Thanks 👍
I enjoyed that, some very smart images there and good to hear your train of thought while taking them.
Another excellent vid, Adam -- I really love your work and the way you present it. Also very timely; I will be heading to that corner of the planet in mid-Oct...
I did enjoy it! Your images are amazing!
Thank you so much!
Your vids are always relaxing but yet very inspiring!
Very much enjoyed this, Adam. Wonderful images from a very cool place. Thanks!
My pleasure!
Dark but enlightening
Looks like compositional "Nirvana".
Beautiful captures.
Many thanks!
Great video Adam. I love to hear 😢your considerations and yo see the finished image. Something we can aspire to.
Thanks 👍
Nice one Adam
An other great video - thanks Adam
Thanks, Michael!

It's large! 70L. Unfortunately the only place that I know that stocks them is Vistek
Love the content!
Adam, all this video is missing is Gavin and a flute!
Excellence
Hi Adam, enjoyed the video as always but I do have a serious question for you on Gavin. Have you been able to get any news on how they are after Fiona hit Nova Scotia? I hope he and Amanda are ok.
He’s fine,
You ever wish you had a tilt shift lens?
Yes! Hopefully next year
@@QuietLightPhoto As you were making adjustments with that geared head, I had to think about the tilt shift. Next year I might try & rent one if lensrental has one to try. Then I'll make a decision.
TH-cam showing me an add for a landscape photographer while watching your video is an insult to you. Very nice video and photos!
I see all kinds of animals in these formations…
Can you see the headless man at 11.26?
I’ll have to study closer
My back hurts just from seeing how low you carry your bag on your back. You do you though!
The weight for the most part should be on the hips, unfortunately I cant find a bag to fit my very long back. If I pull the straps in so that the pack fits higher the weight is all on my shoulders.
2 thumbs up.
The turd was Gavin
Adam, why do your images in the videos all say "Raw image"? Surely they are not straight out of the Camera but are edited first...
Yes the Raw files are directly from the camera before editing
Are you sure Hardcastle didn't leave that turd there???
That did cross my mind
