I use moonbreaker I more than lion's maw I & II tbh. Its does good damage and is high reaching which let you knock down flying wyverns and chop off tails easily. It also does mounting damage which makes mounting in solo quests alot easier.
don't forget, it also come with a fair amount of partbreaker added on. i havent unlocked it yet, but gaijin hunters mhgu vid showed it had a crapton of PB.

Playing Portable 3rd nowadays on PPSSPP, unable to get a hand on all of the new technologies because poor. My dream is to one day join the active community on one of the newest franchises and hunt together. 😍
I was a GS main in MHG that went with aerial for my primary style. You do get those mounts more than you'd think and, if you know what you're doing with both your build and the monster itself, you can create the openings you need in order to have GS perform at it's best.
Generations ultimate looks cool I might buy it on my switch for Christmas. I've had world since February but I just started playing it and it's my first but mhgu looks like something I'll really like.
I love the GS so much, but pre world it was a very demanding weapon. (I'm a hammer main btw) If you can understand the monsters I think that the GS is the strongest weapon in the series, but like I said, IF YOU CAN. If not, you're gonna have a really, REALLY hard time with this weapon.
I feel like they buffed motion values of jump attacks so you can feel impactful while doing them. Seems like they should be reserved for dope ass KOs or flinches. But ledge spam tho
Two things you forgot to mention, when using brave style you can press A during a brave charge to do a charging downslash. Moonbreaker also has good part damage, so use it for farming things.
victor sandeen Apart from tbe super speedy Strong Charge, this is THE second greatest addition to Brave/Valor Greatsword. It opens up so many more windows to attack the monster from a distance, and much safer positioning at the cost of marginally less damage.
my girlfriend and I found out you can halp somebody using brimstone slash by attacking them we were pretty sure it made it more powerful, but we could be wrong
Best hunter art for GS isnt a GS hunter art sadly: the best is absolute readiness, damn it's great. Thanks to that you have unlimited purple sharpness without investing into handicraft sets, it's just perfect for valor Narga/Ahtal Ka GS.
That's weird, I had a blast with Aerial Greatsword, probably because I always followed up my running attack with a fully chargd aerial attack. I guess that's just me experimenting with the different styles :P
Hey MH community!!! can someone please tell me if I buy 2 copies of MHGU can I copy my 3ds save file of MHG to both of them? Because Gaijin Hunter said the 3ds doesn't lose the save file after it transfers over, please respond if you know
Honestly, the only thing I disagree with here is what you said about Shoulder Bash in world. The fact that it can be used as a "counter" is absolutely more game-changing than the fact that it lets us slide into TCS's DM's real fast. It's basically like a guard that hurts the monster and doesn't push us back. It lets us stay in the monster's face and then whallop them with a charged shot. By the way if you don't want to wait for a charged slash you can hit A instead after a shoulder bash to do a sweeping wide slash that has the strength of a level 2 charge and is very fast. GreatSword is ALL kinds of versatile now!

@@AxiamWolfe I like using it up close so when the monster is about to bite or fireball (rath for example) I fly past their face and they miss.
