So many of us lacking emotionally present parents, having this void within us, and being perpetually confused need your wisdom. Thank you for all you do 🌷

Fair point………smile at the rain…..my favourite mistress says that I expect too much from life sometimes……….probably should have been a sixties rock star…..

I love your channel. You have a really great outlook. The way you put it about the simple appreciation of food brings into mind the grace my religious family used to say before every meal, and brought a tear to my eye to remember. Maybe a lot of the religion was nonsense... but there was a sweet beauty in saying grace and being thankful for every meal that nourishes us.

Important to remember how much gratitude and attentiveness matter!

WISDOM IN SESSION! Thank you Emmy for your wise counsel. These days, we need your voice more than ever before! I reckon, it is key to connect with the feeling of emotions to discover their meaning and then release their energy to propell us into the direction we consciously choose. We are only free to decide, when we know what it is we are feeling. This might be an act of happiness.

Lovely! Although I don't think it really applies to me... there's a sort of a universal rule in this wisdom for all of us to remember ❤

You are so sincere in your message and approach. It's heartwarming to see.people in your profession who do not use their profession as a license for self importance and projecting their opinions onto others.
Damiel Mackler may be someone you wish to speak to. He is a very nice man, totally sincere (like yourself) and a former therapist (retired) with vast reserves of empathy. He had a channel here and some really insightful documentaries on schizophrenia / recovering from psychosis without meds.
He also has a site of his.own with additional info and materials.
I hope this helps with your work/philosophy, Emmy. 😊
(Also is the Existential Movement site sign up having issues? I tried it earlier but it wouldn't load.)

@@EmmyvanDeurzen You're welcome. Also I just noticed that I wrote he 'had' a YT channel and not has - which he still uploads to.
Autocorrect again but I can't edit the post. Have a lovely day Emmy.

Another great video, thank you Emmy. To look at the emotionality of it, I guess a disappointment, anger, apathy, etc can all be natural, emotional reactions to life circumstances. Is the key then to recognising and feeling the emotions but then taking action for our greatest good anyway?
