I'm so glad that you're doing this. I love watching how differently some people play to how I play (and sometimes, how similarly!).

If no cards were used, never buying any cards, selling all ten initial cards during the first generation for a total of 51 Megacredits to start with, a player falls short by about five oxygen levels after 14 generations; a game cannot be won without cards. That's the appeal of the game of course: use the drawn cards wisely. (By the way, the cards exhibit great art work and the information given on the cards reflects a number of science fiction novels about Mars, especially Kim Stanley Robinson's Mars Trilogy.)

Thanks for making this series. I have heard a lot of hype about this game, but was never very interested in it. When I saw all the videos on your channel I decided to give it a look. I'm glad I did, it looks like it is interesting, and fun solo too!

Sponsors is an example of buying an excess card. Even with your discount, you paid $6 to get $6 (only 3 turns left in the game), so all it does is tie up your funds. Would have been great earlier! Aquifer pumping is kind of similar - you paid $21, $3 of it much earlier in the game when money is scarcer, to get $18-$24 in discounts, though if you have no other use for steel it is OK. In the last couple of turns raising steel production for $7 doesn't make much sense.

Thanks for making these videos. Could you please tell me what sleeves you are using? Thanks

I do believe that, if there is a red border around something, you MUST reduce production of that item first. You CAN take it from another player but solo means you're paying for it yourself. That means that Power Supply Consortium is a useless card in solo because you gain nothing. Red borders are not options but requirements unless I'm mistaken.

Question-and maybe I missed something in the rules (I’m watching these kind of backwards and I noticed this in your other videos when you acquire all your final production after generation 14...once you get your final plant production after generation 14 you end up placing more greenery tiles. Is this legal? Isn’t production the last stage of a generation so that playing tiles would technically be the start of the 15th generation, and therefore not count toward your final score?

Doing solo games here as well, just like you. Got 83.. where are all those good earth tags when you need them?

Yes, you forgot to take steel the first time and caught it the second time.

How big is the surface of the table you're using to play this?

No, you have to choose the one of the coperation first before you can look 10 cards in your hand.

Events should be placed face down after playing so that you don't use their tags
