A solo gameplay session of the popular sci-fi engine builder, Terraforming Mars by Stronghold Games.
Player take turns as corporations attempting to establish ways to allow life to live on mars, this is done by meeting 3 parameters; water levels, oxygen levels and temperature.

18:13 the next card cost is reduced by 8 and you would pay 3 to keep the card. so basically you pay 5 less for a card without any downsides :p
and several times you gave yourself more energy back (paying 2 instead of 3 for the blue card) and you gave yourself plants instead of money and so on... not sure if you wouldve done it by playing all correctly
Ah thanks for the tip. I’m not sure without re-watching the whole thing but I may have made a few errors here and there, can be tricky with a lot to keep track of and trying to commentate on what I’m doing as-well. I will have to do another Playthrough maybe using prelude this time to get a good game going, problem is I find reaching the TR of 63 before 12 turns for the prelude win quite hard 😂
Im confused. Why is greenery tiles26 for 2 what did i miss? Isnt it 46?
You took 15 turns though, so game wasn't really won.
Pretty sure turn 14 is my last turn 🧐 when the counter hits the 14 slot on the left you still have one turn left to perform actions and try and reach your parameters
Since you forgot to increase generation counter from 12 to 13 at 28:18, you actually took 15 turns in total 🤫
Oh did I? 😯 i think your right I may have done an extra round, maybe that’s why I was so relaxed by the last turn 😂
Rad-Suits can be played on the first generation. The two neutral cities count towards the requirement.

thanks for the game. Is there any unofficial variant for solo? Or you are just stuck to teraform on its own? I know about steam and app, but I want to play boardgame against AI if its possible.
There isn’t really an AI to play against it’s just try to hit that TM by turn 12. Although the Ares Expedition (card version) has an AI that performs actions in a way

Thank you! Keep at it, sometimes having the right opening hand and corporation combo can make a big difference!
In turn 1 you took three action (played a card, increased money production and increased energy production). I think you are only allowed to take two action per turn?
Normally during a game of TM you have one action per turn as you go around in between players. When playing solo you can do as many actions as you like until you run out of resources or options.

How were you able to spend 4 ME to increase your lowest production? I could not find that in the rules.
It's a action than can be performed using the ID he chose.
